Travelling with a baby is always challenging, it was further challenging when your upfront reserved seats were changed without you being given any notice and you are a Gold Star Alliance customer.
Pro: "Modern, clean airplane with spacious seating and attentive crew."
Pro: "It was a pleasant and uninterrupted flight with good service by the cabin crew"
Contra: "The boarding procedure at Bucharest Airport was more like boarding a bus - not a big issue but if I had to find one thing to improve that is what I would suggest."
Pro: "The best landing of a commercial aircraft I have ever experienced in my 74 years and in half a century of flying across the globe, took place in arriving at the Madrid airport with this Aegean Airlines flight. I had to ask the airline hostesses the names of the pilot, and they were two pilots flying"
Contra: "They lost my luggage"
Contra: "Check in was chaotic and unfair with people cutting in line and inefficient lengthy waits. The baggage policy was confusing and a pain to pay the extra cost because you had to go to another counter and wait in line yet again."
Contra: "Flight from Romania was delayed and when we got to Athens we had to go threw customs and security and we lost the connecting flight to crete. We were put on a different flight which that was delayed as well. When we finally arrived in crete all of our luggage’s have been lost."
Contra: "the connecting flight was missed because of a delay in the first flight. i got a different flight with a different airline (sas), they were not informed that i paid extra weight and window seat. i am very unhappy! not to mention that the whole purpuise of my trip is gone, because i a will arrive to copenhagen five hours late for the meeting i was supposed to hold with my fans! i will never fly with egean again!"
Pro: "Hi, i was surprised that i had to ask an extra money for my suitcase, because when I ordered the flights nothing was written about extra payment!"
Pro: "On time"
Contra: "When I booked the tickets , anywhere it was writen that it will cost a lot for the luggages. I payed 53 euros each ticket and 40 euros for each luggage for a flight of 1 hour! It is the very first time that I pay this price! I am not happy! Kayak should advise clearly the clients for these conditions!!! And they accept no visa or bank card. All in cash!!!"
Contra: "Gate agents were overwhelmed and incredibly rude. We of course didn't make connection. Lost our luggage. And now waitingbto board at 4:30 am. Just avoid. I fly a lot and they have topped my list of airlines to avoid."
Pro: "the most beautiful highly skilled attendants! On time flight in every segment. Awesome value for price, Olympic airlines is 55555+ I hope to visit Crete again soon and use this airline."

Contra: "Getting on a bus to the aircraft is challenging with 3 young children and carry on. We couldn’t get a seat. Could not eat the croissant as I’m allergic to chocolate. I’d had no breakfast and that was the only option."
Pro: "Crew is very patient, and have a beautiful appearance. We arrived 1hr late, but an attendant was available to help us to the nxt gate. We only had 15mins."
Contra: "Both connecting flights between Heraklion & Athens where late. This one being 1hr late! When we finally did board, it was a mess! Couldn't hear any instructions, the people for the nxt flight from that gate where all standing in the way. In Athens an attendant did his best to get us to the connecting flight. 15mins was all we had. My travel partner had problems walking & had to try to run to the nxt terminal. An awful experience, especially for her!"

Contra: "The onky problem was the need to rechdck bags at athens for our flight to Ioannina With onky 1 and a half hours long lines at passport control It was a race... Pressure Best tonthinknhow to avoid and perhaps the airline should warn us in advance .."
Pro: "First flight from OTP to Athens arrived late. Crew members awaited at security check and had a bus waiting just for my baby and I to take us to the plane."

Contra: "Their dimensions for carry on luggage are smaller than the industry norm. As such, bags that most any other airline would consider carry on, must be checked for 40 Euros on Aegean."
Pro: "When I booked my ticket from New York to Greece with a 3 day stop over in Paris I should have been told that I would have to pay to check in my luggage from Paris to Greece. I assumed that since I was entitled to one free piece of luggage from New York to Paris that I wouldn't have to pay any fees going from Paris to Athens. I ended up paying 240.00 euros to check in 4 suitcases! that's absurd!! In addition I couldn't check in online for this flight and therefore was not told via email that I could at least check in my bags via the internet for s reduced fee. This is a kayak issue. Otherwise Aegean was great."

Contra: "The crew had no control over any situation. The flight attendants were abrupt and clearly didn't want to be there. I have never felt so much anxiety on a flight due to a flight attendant jot being able to do her job with competence. I will avoid this airline at great lengths for the future.not to mention it was the most uncomfortable plane and the pilot may have still been getting his hours to fly? Not sure."

Contra: "The common TV screens went on forcing everyone to watch this loud boring segment. If you're not going to offer individual screens, simply keep it quiet. It was frustrating to have to listen to that. Also, the food was inedible. The yogurt was fine (packaged), but the spanakopita style baked good was horrible. The filling smelled and the dough was rubbery. Stick to easy basics like eggs. This is coming from someone who eats EVERYTHING"
Pro: "Hmm. Not much to like here. They made RyanAir look good."
Contra: "Bought the ticket for Aegean Air flight. 1. Couldn't check-in online. 2. Waited in line at the airport, was not in the system, finally a ma smasher figured out our ticket was with Tarpon airline, found that deal and waited in that line. 3. Was told we had to pay for the suitcase.... Hmm. I thought that was one of the reasons we were paying 4 times as much as a RyanAir ticket. 4. On the return fight couldn't check-in online. 5. At the airport we were told to go the Aegean desk. 5. At the Aegean desk we were told we had to pay for the suitcase again, had to cross the airport to do that. 6. Finally found that desk, not called "Aegean" like we were told, but "GlobeGround" 7. Plane was delayed. 8. At the a Athens airport we were told Taron shouldn't have charged us. What's going on here?"
Pro: "The flight was posfond in tel aviv by 45 minutes"
Contra: "Waiting area was very crowded. The flight was delayed."
Pro: "Left a bit late but made up the time. The on board service was courteous and friendly and perfectly timed for this short flight."

Contra: "Boarding at ATH gate B26 was third world - not enough sitting to accommodate two busy flights: Heraklion and Warsaw - poor AC. On the flight itself the AC was too hot and the air was smelly. In one of the WC there was no water."
Contra: "we were charged twice for the exact same flights, date and seats. My husband made the same reservations as I had for both of us three weeks later than my reservation was made. When this was discovered by us I called and was told by two agents that I couldn't get any money back. What a rip off."
Contra: "I was shocked to find that we had to pay 60 euros a bag at check in. This was almost as much as the ticket and higher than any baggage fees we have paid on other airlines for much longer flights. it is a terrible way to finance an airline and be assured that we will not fly Aegean if there is any possible way to avoid it."

Contra: "Ryanair announced that we could postpone the flights without any cost due to corona virus and when I tried to reach them/to change the flight date the change tax was still there."

Contra: "Website indicated without EU identification we needed printed boarding passes. We were unable to print them while traveling. We arrived at the ticket desk and they refused to print them. We had to create an online connection to get the passes and then forward them to all 4 people in our group."
Pro: "I got there nearly on time"
Contra: "65% of customers had priority so a bun fight to get on. We then tried to use the faster entry on non priority to get into the lounge and were sent back to the priority queue. families with kids weren't given the option of getting on first. Seats were incredibly uncomfortable. Lack of space for bags."
Pro: "On time flight and decent boarding process (not too much fuss over baggage size and weight)."
Contra: "Seating policy - it’s ridiculous to charge passengers to be seated together, even if they’re flying on the same booking. It only leads to on-board seating “trades” and negotiations to get people to agree to swap seats. Embarrassing!"

Contra: "Hour late departure , which is a frequent event... perhaps due to summer weather. Putting a two year old sitting alone, away from parents and insisting parents should make arrangements with other passengers. Standing outside the plane another fifteen minutes."
Pro: "They were professional and efficient"
Contra: "It was required to check in prior to arrival to airport to avoid a fee. I did not have internet access still I arrived. I had to pay 55 euro for a simple check in. Not fair to folks who do not use data for internet nor WiFi. A email could be sent 72 hours but that does not mean people check all emails or they even have access to the web. It’s not a fair or smart business move, I will not book with them again."

Pro: "I not only had paid for 2 seats last night and paid for, but I also booked 2 bags and paid for them. In all E 37.50 per bag in cargo, then E 8 for each seat, AND I checked in both of is. Upon arrval at Athens airport, I was charged another E 62,50 for your failure to privode me with another boarding pass. Terrible,"

Contra: "The airline made us go to the gate where there was no seating, though they knew the flight was an hour late, so we stood for an hour, before being told we had to check carry on bags in the hold, carrying computers,valuables, batteries, and drinks in our hands (not possible). Card payment on board was disabled. Payment in the currency of the departing country was impossible."
Pro: "I was warned by my son to read all of the fine print, so I had no problems. For someone who doesn't know to do this, I could see where there could be questions and confusion."

Contra: "Firstly, there were no sandwiches (hot or cold) available on a late afternoon flight, so the remaining food options were poor. Secondly, my £7 Gin and Tonic that I'd hardly touched slid right off the frankly useless trays and into my lap. The flight attendant literally threw me a few paper towels to help. I spent the remaining three hours of the flight soaking wet."
Pro: "I liked that all the people that work there are friendly and nice."
Contra: "That it rained in Athens and we boarded the plane in the rain. There was nothing to cover us."

Contra: "The check in staff at the booth were rude to me and then short with others at baggage check in Athens. I saw the gate check in employee being short to guests as well. the company culture feels negative in my one experience. To compare with another regional carrier who seemed to have it together, Olympus, the Ryanair staff didn't appear to like their jobs. Also, Ryanair charges for seat assignments even when you don't have a preference. And the checked luggage size restriction is the smallest I've ever seen. I pack light but the bag I would have needed to have a free checked bag is tiny. Again, my money will go to Olypus Air the next time I'm in this region."
Contra: "Employees at the booth are very unfriendly, rude and it is a very bad experience dealing with people like that This apply for every employee I had interacted I won't use again this airlines"

Contra: "The customer service agent was horribly rude. When asked her name, because she wasn't wearing a name tag, she said "Oh, you'd like my name? I'll be sure to write it down for you." I never ended up getting her name, but the way she treated me and my fiancé - as two customers that were very much over paying - was inappropriate and unprofessional. Never again will I fly RyanAir."

Contra: "Rude gate staff at Otopeni Airport insisting I place my hand luggage in the hold until I informed them I had priority seats. The whole concept of priority boarding goes out the window as boarding was via a bus"
Pro: "I liked nothing about the airline, the service was horrible everyone was rude . They changed time and gate with no notice as the entire flight was running around airport looking for flight/ help..."

Contra: "I will never fly with Ryanair again. They ripped off all my money. If I would have booked 2 tickets with British airways would have been much better and cheaper."
Pro: "The actual flight was good. It was smooth and quick."
Contra: "I did not like the fact that I had to pay almost 140 euros more for extra weight in my baggage. Since I was on vacation, I bought items for myself as well as for friends and family. This made me exceed the 20kg weight limit by 5kg for each check in bag. I wish I flew with Volotea back to Athens from Santorini. I flew with Volotea from Athens to Mykonos, and prior to my flight, they allowed me to buy an extra 10kg per bag for 10 euros, which saved me a lot in baggage fees. Ryanair did not give me that option. DO NOT BE INTICED BY THE LOW PRICE. THEY WILL GET YOU IN THE END. They are the Spirit Airlines of Greece. I will NEVER fly with them again."
