It was a nightmare... not the way you want to start a vacation. I had difficulty booking my daughter's seat online for the return, but didn't have access to phone service while abroad. In my complaint letter to Swiss Air I requested they place us together. I never got a response and upon check in, they had my son and me in our purchased seats and my daughter at the back of the plane. I asked them if they could do anything about it (I was even willing to give up my seats to move to the back...) yet no one seemed concerned or interested in helping to make this work. They also had no knowledge of my complaint or appeared concerned about my prior experience. I'm so over Swiss Air. My experience with the employees on the phone prior to my first departure, the lack of response to my email, and a disinterested and inattentive staff on my return, have all convinced me to choose a different airline next time."

I tried watching different movies, programs, music...it wasn't the material I was watching that was the problem. I asked the flight attendant to reset my console. That didn't work either. I just ended up reading my book the entire 9 hour trip."

I am a bit skeptical about this claim. Not sure if it was Swiss Air of the local ground personnel who damaged the suitcase."

Lufthansa has no control whatsoever they don’t even care."

From USA, San Jose, Ca, to Frankfurt, Germany everything was good (flight on 08/31/2018 - 09/01/2018). They have been very profesional, beganing wih the boarding time untill the arrival in Frankfurt. The flight to Romania was a different story. They haven't been very professional at all. The flight had a delay and nobody said a word. It was just a clerck there who didn't tell to the Lufthansa passengers for a while anything about our delay. So, finally, he said after 15-20 minutes that our fligt will be later, 20 minutes, than the scheduled time on our tickets. They seemed do not care too much about the Romanian passengers."

Contra: "I was NOT impressed with this airline. I have never been on a transcontinental flight that did not provide on board entertainment or food. I thought the absence of both was ridiculous. Plus I went to try to read the news option- which was actually free and the papers were from 2014!!!! WTH?!There is no room to put everything- no pouch in the seat ahead of you so nowhere to put the food or drink that you have to bring on board or any of your travel things. I have no idea why. The FlyDubai terminal in Dubai is also quite lacking- I felt like I was trapped in crappy restaurant. I'm not certain that I will ever use use this airline again- not impressed."

Contra: "The crew was incredibly rude. One flight attendant yelled at me to take my seat even after i told him the seat was wet. He insisted the plane didn't come from anywhere so it could not be wet. I showed him how it was so wet that it soaked my pants and told him it smelled like beer. He seemed annoyed i was bothering him and said he would replace the seat cushion. It took ten minutes before he replaced the cushion. When he did he threw it over the seatbelt preventing me from bucking up. I told him the arm rest and side of the plane were sticky from whatever had spilled. He ignored me and walked away. Another attendant came by and told me to buckle up before landing. I explained the situation that I did not have access to the belt to her for the second time and she rudely told me to move my seat. When I requested a new seat before the flight the first attendant told me no that was the seat I had paid for. Ignoring the fact that I had also paid for a dry seat. Now when the flight is landing my safety suddenly became a priority. Its safer to say I will not be recommending this airline."

The expensive sandwich was old and stale. Entertainment system didn't work. I would avoid this airline at all cost."

The host asked if i wouldnt mind letting the family sit together.I accepted the request where upon the host suggested a middle seat which i rejeceted and notified him that he just passed by 8 empty seats in business class and since the doors were closed I knew were available. He denied the request, had me stand awkwardly while he checked other peoples tickets for 3 minutes to find a single person who was not seated in their middle seat and was forced to move whereupon i recieved dirty looks for the remainder of the flight and right through baggage claim at our destination. I did Flydubai a favor and gave up my seat for the woman and her family. A hassle free otherwise empty business class seat would have been the appropriate response."

The cabin stinks (due to the passengers), they generally don't listen to crew instructions, and it's the only place that every time you land there is someone who is standing up immediately after touchdown and the crew is yelling at them."

I guess i can be happy that the crew did not drag people out and i managed to travel safely. The check in at the air port was appalling - disorganised - unhelpful and extremely slow - unfriendly supervisor and it caused stress for many travellers who were not sure if they would make the flight - no customer care displayed - it was a shambles
They want to charge 250 euros for an extra bag and made my sister miss her flight.

Their in flight menu prices are much affordable compared to most European airports (water is cheaper on the flight, compared to Berlin airport for example) For these prices, and this quality, they are uncompeted. I really hope they can maintain these cheap prices all the time."

I was a little overweight and the girl at the counter was very rude, and eventually made me through away snacks I was keeping for the flight. Also, the weight limit is ridiculous if you're travelling for more than a weekend (I went on a 3 weeks trip with camping). On the flight itself there's nothing provided, even when I asked for water they charged me for it (no option for just a glass of water)."

Contra: "Air traffic control delays at Istanbal SAW on departure was about 40 mins. Airline blamed it on ATC rather than themselves but weatehr was good, no obvious reason for delays except heavy traffic which surely must occur every day. Airlines should build ATC delays into schedule. Sabiha Gokcen airport shops are masively overpriced which means I will avoid transiting through there."
Contra: "The problems began around 2 am on 12-July at the Dubai airport. Our flight, originally scheduled for 4:20 am, was delayed until 6am. I attempted to inquire with the Pegasus staff about the flight delay, and what this would mean for my connection, but no staff were even available at the airport (all check-in activities etc were handled by airport staff). Even after the flight got delayed again until 7am, there were no Pegasus staff available to speak with. The Dubai airport staff assured me that someone was on their way to speak with the passengers, and that since our connecting flights were also on Pegasus, they would be sure to hold the flights for us. We were told that we would definitely make our connections. When we asked about the reason for the delay and to speak with a Pegasus staff member, we were told by airport staff that the Pegasus team had been called repeatedly and nobody was picking up the phone. There was a supervisor that was somewhere in the airport, and they had been told that she would be coming to the information desk to speak with passengers, but I waited for 2 hours for her and she never showed up. We were given no information on why the flight was delayed and what the plan was for our connections. Even at the gate there was not a single Pegasus staff member to assist us. We finally arrived in Istanbul and were directed to the transfer desk, where the Pegasus staff were rude, physically forceful (pushing and shoving), and could not communicate in English. The entire situation was extremely upsetting. Nobody was apologizing for the misinformation or lack of accountability. Nobody simply said, "I'm sorry." I was continuously shouted at in Turkish, I was pushed by Pegasus staff. I was simply trying to find out if my flight had left and if I could be rebooked on another flight. They were insistent that there was one flight a day and they could not book me on an alternative airline. For me, this meant that I missed an important meeting in Germany that afternoon, and that I had to forfeit money that I had put down for a hotel in Hamburg (Euros 124). They told everyone that the flights had left and that we should go upstairs to the hotel desk. However, even to do this, I was forced to purchase a visa (USD 30) to go through passport control. Pegagus has not reimbursed me for these expenses, despite emails, speaking to a supervisor at the Istanbul airport, and filing a complaint in the portal online. Again, at the hotel transfer desk, the staff was rude and unhelpful. We were treated like animals to be herded, and not like humans. Needless to say, I will never be flying with Pegasus again, and I will not be recommending it to anyone. The treatment of paying customers was horrible, and the service was terrible."
