One of my bags didnt arrived. It was a priority bag. And the flight was a really bad experience. There were two kids (2-3 years old) from two families in business class that cried during literally 10 hours! Was a really long flight

Contra: "The seats in the economy cabin are cramped together. If the person in front of your leans back you are almost trapped in your seat. There is little leg room and the cushioning is not enough for a long distance flight. There is no boarding control. People just line up and get on the plane in any order."

The Edelweiss brand is too much based on outdated stereotypes and Heidiland. Nobody in Switzerland walks around dressed and make-uped like the stewardesses of Edelweiss air."

Contra: "I do not understand why arriving to checkin with 90 min, on a DIRECT flight, in business class they can decide to not lead luggage at ZRH. We had to wait for all luggage to come out, then go to lost and found, what is more puzzling is that then they tell you the luggage will be loaded on next flight, arrive at night, but will not deliver it until after 3PM on next day. This is flying business class. Swiss begins to feel like a low cost"

The food was fantastic. We were lucky enough to get some business class tickets with points, and the food was amazing. Wine was excellent. This team was quite solicitous of my parent with reduced-mobility. And the bathrooms stayed clean throughout the flight. find this is often an areas where many airlines fall down. And it's too bad, because while I'm 100% sure it is no fun to clean a toilet while in flight, it is a really a big negative for the customers. Overall excellent attention to detail, with a cheerful and "can-do" crew that kept the plane "proper" throughout the flight and provided seamless service. Good stuff. Will fly again."

Contra: "I did not check the terms and conditions of the ticket. I am a Star Alliance Gold member and I was expecting SWISS to have a similar booking system like the others I fly with. I found out that the ticket fare did not contain checked luggage ( so I had to pay a hefty fee for it ) and also my 20" wheeled case that was ok in all the other flights I took it with me, this time was oversized and overweight . My wife took out the 2 laptops so it became within weight limits but still oversized - My wife paid for the fee ( I wasn't there at the time and she is not a such experienced flyier as I am ) . When I found out about the fee, I checked their rules and I found out that the hand luggage is allowed to be 22" . I saw in the airplane a lot of people with cases having the same size as mine, that went as checked luggage at a cost fo around 40 . I want to see how can I get my money back . . ."

Contra: "For a 5' 4" person like myself, arm and leg room were barely minimal, Economy seats were crammed together and were not ergonomically designed for comfort or support. I was fortunate to be able to move from my center seat to an aisle seat once the flight was in progress. As soon as I did, the air around me was cooler and made for more comfortable breathing. In the center seat, the air was still and close—very uncomfortable. Poor communication regarding passport control protocol at the departure gate: A temporary station was set up, labeled Passport Control, but no SWISS agent announced what was happening. I had just gone through a passport control line on a lower level so I didn't think I had to go through a similar process at the gate. Most people around me also didn't know whether they had to go through the process at the gate. Once agents had been questioned on the subject several times, they should have made a general announcement to inform everyone at the gate. They did not. The food on the plane was the usual poor quality fare for economy class—either highly processed or overcooked and much too salty. Ugh."

Nice to get wine, or maybe beer(?), with dinner at no extra charge, served from regular wine bottles, not individual-serving containers."
Contra: "$35 per flight leg (Lufthansa policy) to choose seats was distinctly annoying. I didn't know when I booked the flights, so the surprise $70 add-in (for round trip definitely would have figured into the price/schedule choice in the first place."

Contra: "My entertainment system would not turn off, which made it difficult for me to fall asleep. I asked a flight attendant for help and she said she would reset it. However, the reset did not work and she never came back to verify whether or not it had solved the situation. I finally gave up and put a blanket over the screen. Furthermore, the meal service was very slow. It seemed as if most of the staff was very young and likely inexperienced. Perhaps it would be better to mix younger, less experienced staff with more seasoned staff. I flew three other Swiss flights during my European vacation and the service was much faster. Incidentally, most of the staff on these other flights were older and probably more experienced."

Further, I found it inexplicably that almost every seat was taken on this flight. If LH knows that the flight is booked close to capacity I would have expected they do their part and due diligence by swapping to a bigger aircraft to help protect people and their customers, it’s not that they wouldn’t have other aircrafts grounded and ready to go... A reduced beverage service is all you can do, really? LH - very disappointing once again"

On the last occasion, my mother in law, who is over 85 was taken care of very well at not only Delhi but especially at the Frankfurt airport. I must truly acknowledge young lady Jessica's efforts, in ensuring that everything was handled very caringly by her personally, for an old lady at the Frankfurt airport."

Lufthansa lost our luggage, and to get rid of us, told us they would send it to the hotel we had to check into on account of the overnight delay. They never delivered the luggage, and other employees later told us over the phone that this was not going to happen. The terminal was filled with tired and frustrated travelers, and to make matters worse, the Lufthansa staff were temperamental and condescending to many. At the peak of the chaos, the Lufthansa staff went out on break, while hundreds waited in line for over 8 hours. We expected more - much more - in one of Lufthansa’s own German domestic hubs."

Pro: "I never try Austrian airlines because this trip was my first trip with them and I'll say that it's one of the best trips I ever had the airport at Vienna it's very small and easy to go anywhere you want and it's super clean and the stuff at the airport are very helpful and they all speak English and I was able to get a hotel room with walking destination from the airport and it was a very good experience overall I'll definitely recommend to anyone and I'll definitely keep them on my top list"

Contra: "Out luggage did not make it to Houston from Frankfurt. We were late from Vienna but Lufthansa held the plane and extra 30 minutes in Frankfurt so that the baggage could make it from the feeder flights and it still didn't. We were promissed out luggage on Sunday evening. No one called and as of Monday morning no news."

Contra: "Since the plane clearly came from another destination, the cleaning crew at Vienna International Airport could have taken some more time to vacuum the floor and wipe down the surfaces in the passenger cabin of the aircraft."

Contra: "I wanted to buy an checked-in luggage, but Austrian site did not worked properly, repeatedly gave an error message. I ended up buying it at the counter desk, in the airport, at a much higher price."
Pro: "I would suggest to make up some how for my lost as I had other problems derived from missing my United Airlines but so far every body has been very understanding. For example selling me a new ticket at a special price or with some benefit - I WILL NEED TO FLY TO VIENNA AND KIEV AGAIN WITHIN 6 MONTHS - otherwise; I doubt I would ever buy a Austrian plane ticket again. I AM FLYING ON POLISH AIRLINES RIGHT NOW OCT 25TH."
Contra: "When I try to make the change of itinerary on Austrian Airlines on the selling web page, they told me to contact the Austrian Airlines, so I did. The Austrian Airlines lady who told me that I would just lose my tickets and that I could not even pay a penalty to avoid such thing, was very VERY RUDE!! As the Austrian Airlines did not offer me an option but losing my plane ticket,"

Pro: "Hi there, the gate for the flight was changed at the last minute and I missed the connecting flight from Frankfurt to Vienna. I was told by staff that there would be a 300 Euro fee, plus the cost of the next flight. This broke my heart. why I wouldn't I simply be put on standby and get on the next flight? I ended up travelling by to Vienna by train, over the course of the next several days. I am a lone woman with a developmental disability, travelling to Europe for the first time. It was very disappointing to be treated this way. Thanks for reading."

Contra: "We paid to pre-book our seats and when we got on the plane they had been given away. We heard several different reasons, none of which made is feel better about the two middle seats we were told we had no choice but to take, while people who had NOT prepaid sat in our aisle seat. It was offensive to be forced to pay to select our seats in advance on a major international airline in the first place, and then to not have those honored just made it worse."

Contra: "Aircraft was older 777 and lavatories weren't very clean. Upon landing in Vienna, my mobility walker (tagged to be brought up to me at jetway) was sent to my connecting flight to Sophia. The flight crew refused to intercept it and have it brought up to me at the aircraft. To make matters much, much worse, the flight crew eventually gave up and left, leaving me LOCKED inside the jetway for over 30 minutes after calling for a wheelchair. The replentishment crew refused to let me out of the locked jetway. Only after the wheelchair arrived was I let out of the locked jetway. I was taken to the Austrian Airlines service center where I lodged a formal complaint. Supervisor/Rene refused to upgrade my seat in any fashion to compensate for my distress. He did, however, arrange for me to given access to the VIP lounge and then taken to my VIE-SOF gate. Had I had a shorter layover, I would have missed my connecting flight."

Contra: "This is for Kayak's app- Usually I get a special meal request through the agent, but could not do it on Kayak's app, and Lufthansa and Austrian did not recognize my booking code from the ticket purchase confirmation email to do it on their website directly. Please look into both issues. This is for my whole trip and not the above mentioned destination."

Pro: "On both of my flights to New York City, I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the flight attendants were to the passengers. On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

Contra: "KLM's new configuration for this type of plane made the seats even narrower than before. While leg room was reasonable, the 3 abreast seating meant a lot of discomfort, especially in the row right in front of the restroom."

Ground staff in Marseiile great but gate crew didn't control carry on baggage and many of us could not use overhead bins because of passengers who stowed more than one and often oversized suitcases above, so we and many others had to place carry on suitcases under seat. Attendant on plane totally unhelpful and could have rearranged a few bags to make room but preferred to stay in back of plane and talk. To be fair, rest of flight was pleasant although late due in part to boarding issues."
