Contra: "It was required to check in prior to arrival to airport to avoid a fee. I did not have internet access still I arrived. I had to pay 55 euro for a simple check in. Not fair to folks who do not use data for internet nor WiFi. A email could be sent 72 hours but that does not mean people check all emails or they even have access to the web. It’s not a fair or smart business move, I will not book with them again."

The seats were small no space for legs. The plane was dirty. Please dont sell that airline anymore. It is a disgrace."

Contra: "The airline made us go to the gate where there was no seating, though they knew the flight was an hour late, so we stood for an hour, before being told we had to check carry on bags in the hold, carrying computers,valuables, batteries, and drinks in our hands (not possible). Card payment on board was disabled. Payment in the currency of the departing country was impossible."
Contra: "All along the way Ryan air was a disaster. The only thing positive to say is that we arrived at our destination alive and reasonably on time.the lead up with the computer games they played with me and my money put them right down at the bottom regarding service and expectations ."
Pro: "A lot of people seem to hate flying Ryanair and yes the airline has its list of cons. But I really like their Cabin crew. They help out inside the aircraft with luggage space etc. and are generally very good with customers I haven't seen this level of service even with non-budget airlines."

Contra: "Boarding time kept changing. I stood in line from 2:47 until I finally took my seat on the plane at 4:03!! If you are not checking luggage and the plane is full as was the case, you are made to stand in line because only the first 90 carry ons are guaranteed. The heat in the boarding area was unbearable. Then we proceeded to the boarding tunnel where we were made to wait AGAIN in the heat. I felt like a hostage packed into a tin can! Never in 50 years of air travel around the world have I experienced such an inefficient process. I will never fly Ryan Air again."
Pro: "Very good price for flight. Dont need to pay foe seats if you dont want to and can avoid baggage fees with carryon. Staff very friendly. Short and sweet flight."
Contra: "Asked for boarding pass again at plane door after we had gone through the gate check. Unnecessary step that slowed the boarding process at the plane staircase."
Pro: "It got me home."
Contra: "Firstly, there were no sandwiches (hot or cold) available on a late afternoon flight, so the remaining food options were poor. Secondly, my £7 Gin and Tonic that I'd hardly touched slid right off the frankly useless trays and into my lap. The flight attendant literally threw me a few paper towels to help. I spent the remaining three hours of the flight soaking wet."
Pro: "It was cheaper than others."
Contra: "They make you measure your bag about three different times and charge a lot to check. They also do not post this anywhere but the airport. THEY WILL NOT TRANSFER YOUR BAGS FROM ONE FLIGHT TO THE NEXT. You have to go out, collect the bags at baggage claim and repay for your bag to check it onto your next flight. They call this "point to point" I call it an annoying scam for more $$. They also don't let you sit down in the waiting area without measuring your carry on bags. So my husband went out to get the checked luggage and then recheck it, I took his carry on luggage so it would be easier for him to go through security. Ryan air would not allow me to sit down until he came back."
Pro: "I liked nothing about this flight."
Contra: "I didn't like the fact that I was never allowed to board this plane and I ended up having to book a hotel for a night and then fly out the next day on an Air Lingus flight. As I found out later, Ryanair did send me an email saying that I would need to print out my boarding pass early. However, I had already left the U.S. and never saw that email. Then when I arrived at the airport, I was told that I would have to go to customer service in order to obtain a boarding pass. Then the line was so long that I could never obtain a boarding pass in time. No one was willing to help me even though there were plenty of employees standing around doing nothing. So I ended up buying three Ryanair tickets that were worthless. I will never fly Ryanair again and I would recommend that no Americans ever fly on that airline."
Pro: "Counter agent was excellent, friendly and professional, she even helped us get our carry-on properly assigned to go on the plane when the Nazi-like fellow, Ali, at the terminal insisted that unless it fit in that grossly undersized test frame the airlines like to use, we would have to pay an additional 35€, to get it checked. Our lovely counter agent came to our aid and spoke sense to Ali with a verbal slap about the head-free entertainment-, helping to put some semblance of joy into the experience that is flying Ryanair. If I have a choice, Ryanair would never be it. Crew was lovely allowing my wife and I to sit together after not being able to do so online without more stupid fees."
Contra: "See diatribe above. If you can discern what to do better from above, excellent, if not, it matters not as I will make it my personal mission to inform all and sundry about the horrors of Ryanair travel. Your airline makes Sleazy Jet seem like top shelf."
Pro: "We had to carry our bags up and down several flights of stairs. Not very friendly to disabled or elderly folks."

Contra: "You charged me an extra 150 Euro because I did not receive your e mail and could not register on line my flight. I complained at Airport in Greece and no one would assist me. Contra: "We pay 135 euros por Boarding Passed and a piece of luggage very small. What an INSULTED!!!!. We felled abused and assaulted. NEVER more... What a mistake. We are Frecuently Travel around the world and we telled that to aour friends. Again????...No Thanks!!!"

Contra: "Rude gate staff at Otopeni Airport insisting I place my hand luggage in the hold until I informed them I had priority seats. The whole concept of priority boarding goes out the window as boarding was via a bus"
Contra: "Ryanair required a 45 euro penalty fee claiming I had not checked in adequately. I had attempted to on my phone after receiving an email on vacation but the online app did not take me through everything needed. It was not clear when I booked via Kayak that additional information was required prior to boarding the plane. My husband is taking another flight within Spain with Iberia and I called them upon my return to avoid a similar charge. They claimed they do not charge that type of penalty and everything can be handled at the airport. I was told by Rayanair that I had to take care of it at least two hours before flight time and I had to pay the penalty.."

Contra: "I will never fly with Ryanair again. They ripped off all my money. If I would have booked 2 tickets with British airways would have been much better and cheaper."
Pro: "Easy booking, easy self checkin, even though now have selected seats it's still a little bit like a cattle market as everybody is wanting overhead hand luggage space near by. Very quick flight without ant issue"

Contra: "forced to hand in cabin bag just before allowed on aircraft. i was travelling with children and this had our food, activities etc. this would not have been so bad had i been given a carrier bag to pur some item in....i was not, andhad to stuff my valuables and a limited amount of food and activties into a torn, dirty carrier bag i found. complaints to ryanair online led to a standard reply that only the first 90 cabin bags go on board. i was not aware of this before i traveeled and would have come more prepared had i known....which i did do on my return trip. this time i was allowed to check in 3 out of my 6 hand luggage but not the other three (we were 6 people travelling) even though i was all prepared to check them in and had not checked that i did not have sharp items and liquid in them. therefore, becasue i was not allowed to chekc them in, i had these items confiscated when i went through security, losing a valuable pair of hairdressing scissors. i wish Ryanair would be more consistent with their polices (i was only allowed to check in three bags becasue i had only paid for 3 suitcases)....but then was forced to chekc the other three in right before entering the aircraft!!! cheap does not need to be unfair!"
