Contra: "Entertainment system operated intermittently. Headphone jack didn't make good contact with plug, no noise reducing headphones, mediocre food."

Contra: "The food was very poor, the staff hardly offer any liquids through out the flight."

Contra: "1st, neither seat that I selected when checking in were given to me. 2nd both aircraft took off late for no apparent reason. 3rd When waiting to board in Warsaw, I was almost bitten by a large pit pull that a passenger was bringing into the cabin as a comfort animal. When I and several other passengers question the desk at the gate about the bringing a large vicious dog into the plane, we were told they were to busy to deal with us even though they were just standing there doing nothing. I have never seen such rudeness towards passengers as I did at that gate. I will take a ship across the Atlantic before I go through Warclaw again."

In Toronto I found out that there was no my luggage on the plane..."

The windows were huge and had a way of dimming so that it was dark in the plane without having to shut them completely. The seat spaces were fairly small but overall it was a very updated plane. I am a very picky eater but 3 of my 4 meals were delicious!! They mostly serve pasta with some sort of meat but I noticed that myself and I were licking our plates clean!"
Contra: "It was VERY obvious that the people that work for this company REALLY hate their jobs. When I checked in they were rude and threatened to take my computer because they told me I couldn't bring it into the US. When I got back home to customs they laughed and told me that that isn't true at all. In the flights the stewards and stewardess' never smiled, they hardly made eye contact and just seemed to absolutely hate life. At one point I was so hungry so I asked to purchase some pringles because that was something that advertised on the loud speaker. When I asked the flight attendant she made the biggest deal about it, laughed in my face and basically told me no. To be honest I am not sure if this sort of a attitude is something that is part of a different culture but I feel that if people are in the service industry that they should at least smile and respond with, "you're welcome" when someone says, "thank you". I will 100% not take this airline again due to the very rude people one board and horrible customer service."

Contra: "I don't understand Ryanair policy on random seat assignment. It delays boarding while passengers negotiate on swapping seats. I guess it's just a cynical ploy to extract more money, like the privileged boarding scam. In Palma, the departure board went from Delayed to Boarding without any announcements. The plane was late arriving and the crew blamed the ground staff. The ground staff were certainly slow coming to the plane at Stansted. I wonder if they are disenchanted with Ryanair too. We will actively avoid Ryanair where possible, and advise others to do so."

Pro: "With Ryanair, you can only really like the price and the people. To be fair though, m the toilet was clean.."
Contra: "Our flight was scheduled to depart at 7.30 am, but was still refueling after an earlier flight at that time. In a way it was lucky that it was late; if it had been in time, we would have been queueing on the Stansted tarmac in the rain. As it was, the rain had just stopped while we waited at the foot of the aircraft stairs. We actually took off 45 mins late. The new, additional-cost priority boarding is a joke: almost everyone was a "priority". Several passengers didn't understand the long "priority" queue, so joined it only to be turned away at check-in."

Contra: "The airline made us go to the gate where there was no seating, though they knew the flight was an hour late, so we stood for an hour, before being told we had to check carry on bags in the hold, carrying computers,valuables, batteries, and drinks in our hands (not possible). Card payment on board was disabled. Payment in the currency of the departing country was impossible."

Contra: "They charge for everything and if you don't make prior payments using the app prior to flight they are going to charge you triple at airports. $70 for printing boarding passes at airports and $200 in luggage fees! I will never use this airline again"

Contra: "The service is poor. They just want to rip you off. The bag price is ridiculous. When you check in they put you in separate seats do you pay. I paid for my son when we were flying out but when coming back l refused to pay. Guess what happened they allocated my 22 year old to sit on the emergency exit. The crew then came to me asking if l could swap seats with my son as he was not allowed to sit there as if it was me who had allocated him that seat. If it was the other way round they would have asked me to pay. When it suits them."

Contra: "Firstly, there were no sandwiches (hot or cold) available on a late afternoon flight, so the remaining food options were poor. Secondly, my £7 Gin and Tonic that I'd hardly touched slid right off the frankly useless trays and into my lap. The flight attendant literally threw me a few paper towels to help. I spent the remaining three hours of the flight soaking wet."

Contra: "You charged me an extra 150 Euro because I did not receive your e mail and could not register on line my flight. I complained at Airport in Greece and no one would assist me. I am writing the NY Times and Washington Post about your strategy to take extra $ from first time flyers of your airline. Shamfull !!!! Contra: "Takeoff was delayed by 1 hour due to what seemed like a totally preventable clerical error (in pairing a piece of checked luggage and a passenger). This delay reduced our transit options on arrival and also inconvenienced our host. The flight was overheated and uncomfortable. At the freight-level prices, I wasn't expecting food or entertainment, and I was aware the flight would be full, but I was expecting at the least a functional temperature control or effort to use it. Especially during the hour we idled on the tarmac prior to takeoff."

Pro: "I felt comfortable even though seats were a bare minimum. Worth the lower price."
Contra: "i didn't know that I could have carry-ons if they fit in little airport blue box. This is a key incentive to choose Ryanair over a competitor."

Contra: "We waited for an hour on the tarmac. It's critical that if other passengers aren't on time we close the doors and go so we leave on states time. Otherwise we miss it as we did and had to wait an hour. I realise my flight was cheap however timings are global whether no frills or not!"

Pro: "Good deal with regard to basic airfare."
Contra: "The bag check lines were slow and the agent was unfriendly. We were told our luggage was okay for carry on - size and weight requirements were met- at bag check. At the gate, the agent tried to charge us 50 euros per bag. Outrageous!"

Contra: "Rude gate staff at Otopeni Airport insisting I place my hand luggage in the hold until I informed them I had priority seats. The whole concept of priority boarding goes out the window as boarding was via a bus"

Contra: "The female staff member at the gate was extremely loud and rude and tried to charge £50 to get a luggage bag put into the hold after her colleague had approached and offered this service to my friend. She was extremely embarrassed and offended as the staff member insisted that she place the item into a bag measure. The interaction was unnecessary and unwelcome as my friend had not sked for the kind gesture made by the first staff member. As we were seated in the back row, we were subjected to the raucous behaviour of two of the cabin crew members throughout the entire flight which included discussing particular passengers on the flight including their seat numbers and their personal 'differences' with other cabin crew members whom they would be flying with today! The behaviour of the male and female crew members, both of whom appeared to be American, was nothing short of embarrassing for Ryanair and utterly unprofessional, even during service the couple appeared oblivious to the passengers as they carried on in their interactions with each other. It appeared that the only person who was actually working was the attendant at the front of the plane who I believe may have been the flight manager. A fellow passenger even commented that the couple must have been smoking something before the flight to explain this behaviour. Having flown with Ryanair on many occasions and having recommended them to friends and family in the past, we were bitterly disappointed with both these issues and would suggest that they re-examine their customer care!!"

Contra: "Ive been charged for every thing: bags, airport check in fee, even water. i ended up spending 200 euro more then i expected, which basically means i could have found a cheaper flight. flight was delayed in 2 hours. we stoon in line for boarding for half an hour from the time they announced boarding until they actually boarded us. Leg room is poor, seats do not lean back. Servicewise it felt like the crew is more about profit then the customers comfort: bright light was on the whole flight so it will be comfortable for the crew to sell drinks and food. selling products and advertising over the loud speakers etc."

Contra: "We hadn't used Ryan Air before. A friend had warned us against them. Once in Athens we had no Internet and missed an email to check in online. We arrived at the airport 1 hr 50 minutes ahead og the flight to be told that since we were checking in less than two hours without printed boarding passes all 5 family members would have to pay $60 each as a penalty for not doing so. $300 dollars extra for not knowing the unethical biz practices. Read all of the policies before booking! We will blog and try for a refund but WHAT AIRLINE TREATS CLIENTS LIKE THIS??? Charley and Laura Santa Cruz California"
