Beyond that, KLM must have one of the oldest fleets in the sky. Both ways LAX->AMS->LAX, I was on a 30-35 year old 747 with no wifi, no power and a ten-year-old entertainment system. Never again."

With the current layout, even with an aisle seat, I was sitting in the aisle. And I am not a large person! The flight was full, so use the 787 and two daily non-stops. For a twelve hour flight, the food was only Okay, could have been better and with a better selection. Meal timing was poor."

Contra: "Poor communication between delta, KLM and Air France meant that I couldn’t check in online and get a digital boarding pass. Furthermore I couldn’t use the check-in kiosks because my name was listed as Reidmr instead of Reid, which meant that my boarding pass did not match my passport. Overall this caused unnecessary delays that were compounded by the fact that I couldn’t use my TSA precheck. My main problem on the plane was that I had to struggle to get water served to me. It’s always so dry on planes and I would have liked to be able to get more than one tiny glass of water at a time. Also, would have loved a window at my window seat. Plus no WIFI!?"

Then it was back thorough security and a rush to the gate to get there in time to board. Lost our original seat assignment and wound up in the last row at the tail of the plane. Extremely poor coordination between KLM and Delta who operated the flight."

Contra: "They split me and my wife on porpuse to force me to buy the option to choose my seating. The leg space is tiny and the chairs won't recline so it's super uncomfortable. Flight times are shitty. Te leave early in the morning so you can barely get some sleep at night. Nor on the plane. They don't any serve food or even water and let you dry up. You can buy overpriced food and beverage onboard. My purchase from the duty free was stolen and they didn't help me handle the problem. Awful experience."

Check-in was fairly quick and incident-free, despite some of the other passengers reporting problems with the procedures and the staff. Boarding was quick and the flight actually arrived 10 minutes earlier than scheduled."

Wizz Air mobile app barely works when required (for boarding passes, etc) Not enough room in overheads for all the carry on they allowed, had to sit with bag and jacket on my lap for flight, as no room under seat either."

I travel with a musical instrument (guitar) in a soft case. Easily fits in overhead bin compartments. The airline would not allow me to carry it on (only recourse was to purchase a second seat for it). I was forced to pay a baggage fee (around $70 u.s.dollars). For what? To pray it doesn't come back to me damaged? To their credit, it did not..."

Contra: "Despite long delay, there were no announcements by the staff about the delay until we were already almost 40 minutes past our original departure time. No water or food was distributed to the passengers despite the delay. Delay was not wizzair's fault but there was no customer service to speak off."

Pro: "Staff were friendly, when they weren't trying you charge you for everything"
Contra: "I've flown on dozens of airlines, and Wizz Air has to be one of the absolute worst in terms of arbitrary and punitive charges. I managed to avoid them, but you never know when they'll give you a €30 fee because your shoelaces are too long."

Contra: "we didn't get food at all. i purchased a cabin baggage for 40 dollar, and when i went to the check in i paid another 110 euro for checked in baggage although i had only one baggage!!!"

Fares are competitive, but long list of extra charges is annoying. Boarding was chaotic at airport, with no attempt at crowd control. No water was served on flight."

Contra: "Seating policy - it’s ridiculous to charge passengers to be seated together, even if they’re flying on the same booking. It only leads to on-board seating “trades” and negotiations to get people to agree to swap seats. Embarrassing!"

Contra: "Another passenger had exactly the same seat number as me which caused confusion and an uncomfortable situation"

Contra: "One hour late departure insufficient information Had to be bussed to plane negating any value for paying for priority Parked off stand at Birmingham had to use steps from plane and into terminal wife has arthritis and can’t carry bags I had to carry two bags down steps unable to use handrail really quite dangerous no apology re delay"

Pro: "Boarding was straightforward"
Contra: "The flight was delayed by 1hour and 45 minutes. Luggage arrived after waiting more than 30 minutes at the carousel"

Pro: "Friendly crew."
Contra: "Hour late departure , which is a frequent event... perhaps due to summer weather. Putting a two year old sitting alone, away from parents and insisting parents should make arrangements with other passengers. Standing outside the plane another fifteen minutes."

Pro: "They were professional and efficient"
Contra: "It was required to check in prior to arrival to airport to avoid a fee. I did not have internet access still I arrived. I had to pay 55 euro for a simple check in. Not fair to folks who do not use data for internet nor WiFi. A email could be sent 72 hours but that does not mean people check all emails or they even have access to the web. It’s not a fair or smart business move, I will not book with them again."

Pro: "The fact that I won’t fly this airline again."
Contra: "We were delayed 1 hour on the ground in Dublin. The captain never addressed the passengers and the crew - despite being asked to allow passengers with tight connections to depart first - never allowed this to happen. Insensitive and uncaring. We almost missed a connection that would hav caused us to lose $7000. When the crew was asked to find out if we could make up time in the air they never came back with an answer. Thanks Ryan air - next time take a lesson from Southwest Airlines."

Contra: "An hour delay"

Pro: "The crew didn’t allow a very visibly drunk passenger on board which was good. We were concerned about him coming on the plane so were very pleased they didn’t allow him to board."
Contra: "The plane was delayed and when we did board it was very clear that absolutely no cleaning had taken place. Appreciate the effort not to be any later than we were but not nice to get to a seat with crisps and malteasers everywhere."

Pro: "Nothing"
Contra: "Dirty seats, tables and floor. Both times we checked in and because we didn't pay for early check in we all got separated despite there being room to all sit together or at least in pairs. Had to pay to move to sit together. It costs £80 to bring a suitcase for the hold, however if you don't pay for priority boarding your handluggage gets placed in the hold anyway despite there being more than enough space in overhead lockers. If I had known how much it would be to pay for the 'extras' which area really basic requirements, I would not have booked with Ryanair. Next time I'll be going with another company who actually provide a basic service"

Pro: "Prompt take off and landed on schedule"
Contra: "Slow baggage recovery due to automation and a small carousel"

Pro: "Cheap efficient flight."
Contra: "Only two toilets were working. Big queues. Flight delayed by a passenger vomiting with chest pains as we left the standing. She refused to disembark until the captain insisted! Not Ryanair fault."

Contra: "Always delayed and poor services"

Pro: "Fly was moved from 18.00 to 22.00 After that 30 minutes delay. They tooks my 2 bags because of leak of space Inside a plane. So I spent anothet 30 minutes with my 2 kids awaiting for collection of my lagguge after arriving. Horrible experience!"

Contra: "The airline made us go to the gate where there was no seating, though they knew the flight was an hour late, so we stood for an hour, before being told we had to check carry on bags in the hold, carrying computers,valuables, batteries, and drinks in our hands (not possible). Card payment on board was disabled. Payment in the currency of the departing country was impossible."

Contra: "Problems: 1. very difficult to understand what was and was not included in the price of the ticket when purchased. Basically, later I found, it was a $50 ticket for the price of $90 because I had to pay for a checked bag, about $40 per person. Rediculous! 2. The next surprise came when I tried to check-in early while on vacation, for my flight to Athens. Apparently another $50 if we didn't check-in early (before the airport). My computer wasn't working on the website for some reason, so I was stressed. Fortunately able to check-in using my husband's computer. But then I was stressed because we couldn't print-out the tickets and I thought that they would charge us another arm-and-leg. They didn't, but the poor couple next to us in line had to pay the $50 extra per person for not checking in early - Rediculous! 3. There were about 5 long lines to go thru for check-in, basically showing/reshowing passports...it took forever! And so crowded. Rediculous! I will NEVER fly RyanAir"

Pro: "Relatively smooth flight, boarding, checking in, arrival, etc. Typical of small crafts. I chose this flight more for the time (it fit with our needs)."
Contra: "It was difficult to figure out the extra baggage fees, what was allowed and not allowed. I think the money I saved on the tickets overall was eated up by the extra 60$ we had to pay for our baggage."

Pro: "flight attendant was nice"
Contra: "hidden fees, unfair pricing on baggage, not the most organized airline service as well."

Pro: "Really kind and helpful staff"
Contra: "The boarding process is rough although stansted airport In general is pretty terrible."

Pro: "It got me home."
Contra: "Firstly, there were no sandwiches (hot or cold) available on a late afternoon flight, so the remaining food options were poor. Secondly, my £7 Gin and Tonic that I'd hardly touched slid right off the frankly useless trays and into my lap. The flight attendant literally threw me a few paper towels to help. I spent the remaining three hours of the flight soaking wet."

Pro: "Not much."
Contra: "It was a total faf in the airport in Marrakech. Things work differently which is fine but the airline should really inform you that in order to progress through to passport control you need to go to the check in desk (even though you checked in online ages ago) to get a stamp. It took ages and ages and the lack of communication was annoying. Ryanair sent out an email warning about longer security waits but didn't specify. The problem is most people who travel Ryanair don't have bags to check in so naturally like every other place you would go straight through. And if that's not the case then tell people!!! Very frustrating."

Contra: "You charged me an extra 150 Euro because I did not receive your e mail and could not register on line my flight. I complained at Airport in Greece and no one would assist me. I am writing the NY Times and Washington Post about your strategy to take extra $ from first time flyers of your airline. Shamfull !!!! Pro: "Quick and easy .. flights bang on time, Return flight very 20 mins ahead , Nice staff"
Contra: "Ridiculous overpriced snack menu. Sandwiches etc.. And coffee not good too expensive.. Let's you down.!"

Pro: "The fact that it got me to Dublin."
Contra: "After having all my liquids taken at security from my carry-on (which had been just fine on all other legs of my trip over) Ryanair decides that they are too full for me to take my bag on board, so they made me check it. When I requested that I get the bag back at the gate, they said no. It had to be checked through to baggage claim. This meant that in Dublin I had to go back to get my bag downstairs and go through security twice more. Exactly what I wanted to avoid. I had a very tight connection to the US. It was horrible! I purposely packed light for a 16 day trip!! It would've been helpful if they had let me gate check it. I won't fly them again."

Pro: "Crew were fantastic"
Contra: "I hate flying"

Pro: "The flight was good and on time, friendly cabin crew"
Contra: "The boarding crew, meaning that guy at the airport, was very unfriendly"

Pro: "I can't think of any."
Contra: "Rude gate staff at Otopeni Airport insisting I place my hand luggage in the hold until I informed them I had priority seats. The whole concept of priority boarding goes out the window as boarding was via a bus"

Contra: "Cramped seats did not recline; all drinks, including water, had to be paid for; plane did not have a jet bridge and passengers had to walk up and down stairs to embark and disembark. This airline takes No Frills to an entirely new level."

Pro: "I hated everything"
Contra: "I will never fly with Ryanair again. They ripped off all my money. If I would have booked 2 tickets with British airways would have been much better and cheaper."
