Late missed my next flight
Expected A320neo as per the booking, got a 28 years old A321. Still no food service. Not impressed at all this time by Lufthansa.
Still don’t have a flight and there is 300 people in line for customer service which is terrible slow

Pro: "I didn’t get the chance to experience the seats because I didn’t get to be on the flight due to a huge mistake of a Lufthansa employee"

Pro: "The seating arrangements and baggage drop off were excellent, staff at check ins both sides were so helpful, especially at Heathrow airport, the young Asian man couldn't do enough for us, well pleased."
Contra: "Unfortunately we experienced a drop in standards when on board the first return flight , my daughter is autistic and would only have vegetarian meals, I made sure I requested this online well in advance, when I asked for vegetarian meal the flight attenda abruptly said that's all we have."
Pro: "Lufthansa is an airline in a different class altogether. Can not compare with any commercial airline that flies to Europe"
Pro: "Short flight, left and arrived on time."
Contra: "Great food, comfortable seats, enjoyed the whole 11 hour flight."
Pro: "In-flight crew was friendly, the food & beverages were OK and there were plenty of in-flight entertainment options."
Contra: "They double charged the baggage fees: I prepaid in advance but upon checking in for the return flight the representative wasn't able to locate the appropriate information, although I had a printed copy of the confirmation email they sent. I had to pay for it again which is a lousy experience."
Contra: "Went First Class. What a joke! Coach seats & service. Only difference is they leave the middle seat empty. This appears to be the European standard (we flew on 3 different airlines) for 1st Class within Europe flights. Save your money, fly coach within Europe."
Pro: "The crew was great and the snacks provided were delicious!"

Pro: "The people who work for Lufthansa are the nicest i’ve met, on par with Turkish airlines. The times for boarding and departure were respected, the flight was short but pleasant."
Contra: "The long lines. After check in and security, boarding could have involved less of a standing and waiting, with a bit of ahead communication that could be attained. For instance indicate the order of boarding, time until boarding, and place where the passengers from rows 50-70 should form ia line..."
Pro: "All good - Lufthansa even handled an unexpected air traffic delay well, meaning my connection still worked. Great price too - booked at short notice and Lufthansa business was half the price of BA. Far better device too."

Pro: "I have been spoiled with the large planes, so the small ones to me are cramped, but thats with all carriers not just Lufthansa. I generally prefer to fly Lufthansa when heading to Europe."
Contra: "It took over an hour to drop off a bag prior to boarding. I had already checked in online. There were long lines in Bucharest and simply not enough staff working the Lufthansa desks."
Contra: "Although we had reserved (paid) seats as a family in an entire row, upon check in we were given different seats. We had to spend 20 minutes talking with different agents in order to get our original seats."

Contra: "My flight was cancelled due to the pilots' strike. I only learned about this when I attempted online check in. Lufthansa never attempted to notify me. Then when I called in to the Romania Service Center to rebook, the phones went down in the middle of the call. That is understandable given the extreme volume of calls they were handling. What is unacceptable, is that they made no attempt to contact me once the phones were up. I ended up calling the U.S. service center at 1am local time to rebook...only 3 hours before I needed to leave for the airport. It took an hour - which I paid for at direct dial international rates - to find a flight. I'm very grateful for the U.S. service rep who was kind and helpful. She was the one bright spot in this poorly handled situation."

I was assigned last row and middle seat, I could not change seat when there were other seats available at check-in. United would not let agents change either. Maybe kayak related? Expedia always allows seat changes"

You would expect that if you are flying from Germany to the US, they would allow you to do that. - My husband and I booked the flight together, and were assigned two separate seats, with 20 rows of distance! - Our video monitors were frozen mid-flight...."
Pro: "Seat backs are flatter, which for me (a shorter woman) is much more comfortable than the more contoured seats on other airlines."

Contra: "The boarding procedure at Bucharest Airport was more like boarding a bus - not a big issue but if I had to find one thing to improve that is what I would suggest."
Contra: "Flight from Romania was delayed and when we got to Athens we had to go threw customs and security and we lost the connecting flight to crete. We were put on a different flight which that was delayed as well. When we finally arrived in crete all of our luggage’s have been lost."

Contra: "I arrived just before the hour an hour before departure for a 6am flight, which is in line with their 60 minute policy to find the counter closed. I spent another 25 minutes running around the airport trying to find someone to assist including a ticket agent to adjust my flight. Only to be told I couldn't get a flight out until the next day and I had to pay more for my original ticket for it. I contacted customer service and their response was a simple copy and paste of the rules which I was well aware of (apparently I should have really been there 90 mins before and not 60 according to the site). I only booked with the airline because it offered an 8 hour layover in Athens...a chance to see a bonus city. There are plenty of other airlines with more flexible and consistent policies. I have traveled the world on many airlines and have never had an early check in counter close or to have to chase down a representative to get service."
Contra: "That I have to bay extra for bags and it’s not mentioned anywhere in a clear and transparent way"
Pro: "The CREW was very friendly and aircraft wasn't bad itself."

Contra: "I had round trip flight with Aegean airline from Santorini to Athen and Athen to Santorini, Both flights had DELAYED FOR ONE HOUR!!! My gateleg table was broken on Athen to Santorini flight so I ate my lunch in a hard way!!!!! On the way back after one delayed finally we arrived at Athen airport and I had two more flight to caught. when I got my luggage do the next flight I realized literally my luggage was destroyed!!!!"

Finally found that desk, not called "Aegean" like we were told, but "GlobeGround" 7. Plane was delayed. 8. At the a Athens airport we were told Taron shouldn't have charged us. What's going on here?"
Contra: "Apparently when booking a ticket with Aegan one check bag is not included unless indicated at the time of purchase. This was a surprise to me since during the purchase process this was not highlighted. Additionally the boarding process was VERY unorganized . No clear lines people just rushed to board even though specific numbers were annouced."

Woke up before 5 am and went to the airport to find out, then waited in line for two hours to get re-booked on a flight the next day. Really poorly done. No compensation. The amount of snacks was limited where’s in Turkish airlines it’s unlimited and you can choose different sandwiches whereas in Austrian airilines can offer biscuits and Cookies ;( Thirdly . We are living in 21 century and most transatlantic airlines have WiFi ! Where’s Austrian did not have it!"

As people were getting ready to board and waiting in the line, they were told to go back to customer service to register passports and get new boarding passes, without prior announcement. That could have been avoided if they informed us."

Pro: "my wife was flying this plane from Zagreb to Split. my wife is late for the last ferry 20.30 from Split to Hvar due to the plane delay and so unplanned should stay at the hotel in split till tomorrow morning. And they'll be 3 hours late for work in the morning."

Contra: "I was unable to select the 'fare' with a checked bag, so was planning to pay at the counter. I think the site for the airline is buggy, as it was also an ordeal by trial-and-error to try to check in online. I also could not elect to check a bag during the on line check in process, which I know is sometimes an option. When I arrived at the airport, the check in was a mess (ton of people, everyone was taking forever at the counter) and when I FINALLY arrived at the counter, I was informed that I needed to take a handwritten receipt from the check in counter, go up a floor and wind through a few corridors to find some travel agent (?) desk to pay 40 Euros for my checked bag. Which actually was 48 Euros because I needed to use a card, and was not paying by cash. After I managed to find the desk where I needed to pay, I had to wind my way back downstairs and muscle my way back into the line I had already waited in to finish the check in process. When we arrived in Split, 25% of the flight was missing their bags, which included a member of the party I was traveling with. It took an extra 30 minutes at the airport to file a missing bag claim, and another 38 hours for the bag to finally arrive. Not a great way to spend the few days we had in Split."
Contra: "making a stop in Dubrovnik and leaving the plane just so they can refuel it a nightmare. Layover in Zagreb on the way to Athens was really long On the way back from ATH to SPU, a depay of 2,5 hours happened..."
Pro: "The plane left on time."
Contra: "The type of plane was very old, a de Havilland with propellers, extremely noisy and small."
Contra: "My bag did not arrive with me and I was told it was because I did not allow enough time for my bag to get from the plane in Split. This had nothing to do with me but rather their scheduling. They really need to allow more time between connecting flights for this and for getting thru passport check"

Contra: "They had a cancelled flight try to make me take a bus to my final destination. So finally they booked us a flight next day in evening we didn’t received any vouchers or hotel room from the airline and nobody had a answer on why was flight cancelled."

During that time, no updates were given to the passengers waiting, the airport monitors continued to show the original departure time. Eventually the monitors showed a later departure time (which we still didn't make), but continued to show the same arrival time at the other end. If taken literally, it implied flying at the speed of light. I understand that flights can be delayed, I just want good communication about the status, which was not given."

Pro: "Compared to SAS flight I like the fact that they offer on every flight decent drink and snack. Flight attendants are extremely nice. By the way there were newspapers too. Everything one can buy for several euros, so it is not about money it is more about how to cut the boring time when you cannot move."

Contra: "Sat at the gate with a small child until well after departure. No news. No gate agent. Finally we were told that there was a delay of two and a half hours."
Contra: "Needed wheelchair assist. Once we were dropped off at the gate to wait for the slight to Split, the person at the gate said that there was no other person who could come, was forced to walk the rest of the way. This was different from all other times we've needed a wheelchair assist where a person came when it was time to go from the boarding area to the vehicle."
Contra: "The food vouchers were a nice gesture but how about a travel voucher?"

Pro: "From Toronto to Warsaw we flew with Air Belgium even though we paid a ticket for Polish Airlines and everything was horrible. We waited an hour without any explanation before boarding and another hour and half after boarding. The seats were very uncomfortable and there was no leg room. Flight from Warsaw to Belgrade was a lot better, however 2 out of my 3 luggages were lost. Crew on both flights were lovely."
Contra: "The food was very poor, the staff hardly offer any liquids through out the flight."
Pro: "The aircraft and crew were professional and courteous. The food was ok."
Contra: "1st, neither seat that I selected when checking in were given to me. 2nd both aircraft took off late for no apparent reason. 3rd When waiting to board in Warsaw, I was almost bitten by a large pit pull that a passenger was bringing into the cabin as a comfort animal. When I and several other passengers question the desk at the gate about the bringing a large vicious dog into the plane, we were told they were to busy to deal with us even though they were just standing there doing nothing. I have never seen such rudeness towards passengers as I did at that gate. I will take a ship across the Atlantic before I go through Warclaw again."

Pro: "Everything was well organized and orderly, though the staff were not too cheerful or friendly. Even though it was a short 1 hour flight I saw flight attendants giving crayons and papers to the kids and everyone was offered a small chocolate cookie, a tiny packet of sour gummies, and a cup of water for free which I didn't expect. The plane was very small but clean and I was fairly comfortable in my seat for the short flight. There was a magazine in the seat pocket in English and Polish. Mostly I liked the cheap ticket price and that it was an on time flight."
Contra: "When we landed we went down 5 steps to the ground outside and got in a bus to go in the terminal. The plane was so small that there is very little space for carry on bags so that was a problem for some people, and as we entered the plane I noticed that the ceiling of the aisle is so low that my husband could touch his head on it if he went on his toes a bit (he's 6'4") It was odd to me that they had my husband and I assigned to seats an aisle apart, but a kind stranger agreed to change places. Lastly, the carry on baggage weight allowance is very low and they weighed our bags and we had to pay 24 dollars each for our overweight carry on roller bags which were then checked."

Contra: "LOT planes were late to both directions to the place and 2 weeks later from the place. When we flew with my little daughter - toddler to the destination the plane was late and as a result we were late to another plane, so they sent us to the same destination country but to the different place and then I had to find out were to go further while our luggage was lost (found in 3 days). When we flew back, the plane was late once again and I was told that we might will be left until next day morning, so lots of nervous and stress. The food provided was very poor as well - basically just small chocolate bar and water, tea or coffee, so if you are hungry it would not really help you."
