No online check-in, so not ideal for business travellers having to queue to check-in at Zurich airport
Contra: "There was no amenities pack given in Premium economy. The food was ok. It would have been nice to have been offered another bread roll. Seat comfort was fine, but I kept getting hit by the separating curtain as the flight attendants went back and forth from economy."

Contra: "People may think,that the delay of the flight has set my mood for this review but I can ensure it has most definitely not. With all the bad weather, I was already very happy to connect right on time in Paris. However, a long haul A380 flight with such a tight seat configurstion is almost embarrassing for an airline. The in flight entertainment is at a very poor level, not only with the screen being very small and outdated, many of the movies are only available in French and the international selection very limited. The food was not much of a delight, whereas the presentation was nice. However, in all the 7 h between the services, nobody came around with refreshments in a completely booked flight, neither was announced that a trolly would be set for self service in the galley. Lucky the ones who got up and found out about. In terms of amenities, again, the airline is lacking of originality and saves cost. Bottom line: you get from A to B, but there are so many better competitors in the market, which I shall definitely consider on my next travel."

Pro: "The food was pretty good and the staff were friendly. During our transfer in Paris, my mum had a medical emergency and had to go to the medical centre. As such wr couldnt go to our final destination in Morocco and had to get our luggage off the plane. The staff at the AF counter were very helpful in that aspect. And when one of the luggages was completely damaged, it was replaced it with a brand new one which was fantastic. On the way back, we had some issues with the ticket because we didnt go to Morocco as planned which resulted in some trouble checking in. But the staff at the counter were quite helpful."

And our last air france experience we were so hot and it was aweful. Even though it was like an hour and a half flight they still served us sandwiches ,really good."
Contra: "Airport handling is catastrophic. A lost bagage created the twins to be locked. Half an hour and we could not enter. Delays and huge mess in front of police checkpoint. No announcement and no care for passengers approaching departure time. And to top it all no announcement of any delays. Had to cheat my way through the priority line and run a sprint through security and beyond. Reached the gate to note that there was a delay of 5 minutes.... Grrrr"
More leg room would have been nice

Contra: "Cramped seats. Poor food. Disorganized boarding more soon to low cost budget carriers. Which is what BA competes against now, albeit for premium prices."

Contra: "One of the worst experience I’ve had, if not the worst. Lack of communication between flight attendants at gate was the main reason for missing our flight, after 2 delays from the previous flight. When we got to the gate they closed it at that moment, earlier than it should have. A Mr. Fenney, person in charge at the gate, didn’t help much. Just went through the motion and as slow as possible trying to help us. It seemed he just wanted to pretend he was helping us. Worse was his attitude when telling is the gate has already closed, didn’t do anything to help us, nothing at all. We had to literally get information out of him. We then went to customer service were the same thing happened, a lack of care that we missed our flight due to things out of our control. Even to the point where the agent told us “be sure to be there on time this time”, like if it was our fault we missed it (we told her the details of our situation). Till this point they don’t seem to care. They left about 15 people, that i know of, hanging. If they had better comunication between gates and waited a miserably 5 more minutes (although they closed the gate earlier then they should have) everyone would have made it. Throughout the whole process we noticed that american airlines employees did not care that many on that first flight had connection flights. They were just going through the motion, slowly while all of us were a bit desperate knowing that the layover time was going to be very close."
Pro: "Pretty basic service."
Contra: "The late morning flight we booked was eliminated from the schedule, requiring us to book an early morning flight. This resulted in our having to spend our last night in a hotel near the airport rather than in Rome. It also resulted in a 4+ hour layover at Heathrow, rather than the 2 hours we anticipated. Very disappointing."
Pro: "This was a very full flight and the crew were exceptionally patient with everyone. Much appreciated."
Pro: "Entertainment was a little better than usual, but could have had more current movies. Food was OK. Nothing special, but more than acceptable. I like the ice cream. Although we had a late start, we got to San Francisco pretty much on time."
Contra: "I don't like being scrunched in a little seat for 10 or 11 hours, but then I am not willing to pay for a bigger seat and more leg room."

Didn't have to pay for extra leg room in exit aisle - probably because no-one had bought them when I checked in at airport. Would definitely recommend."
Contra: "Only downside is crew member in Seville at the airport gate could not be understood. She spoke English with such a thick Spanish accent and intonations that no-one understood what she was saying on the speaker. She also sounded as if she was arguing, as opposed to inviting us on board in a welcoming and orderly fashion. Although at times funny, it ultimately translated into a lot of noise on her part, and a headache on my part."

Contra: "Seat is small, no food menu on a 12-hour long haul flight from SIN to London. Only 1 available meal type: bland tasting "sea bass" soaked in tomato sauce. The air crew spent most of their time sitting in the back - zero effort in service - not once did they make rounds with cups of water/juice. In between meals, I request for some snacks and they said they don't carry any snacks at all - onboard a 12-hour long flight. I asked to BUY some Malteser chocolate and pringles, and the air crew exclaim "ohhhh but it's on the upper deck, I would have to climb up to get some." Here how about some bread rolls and butter. They offered me stale bread from the previous meal. I am their One World Partners SAPPHIRE Member. I shudder to think how they would treat their standard economy class passengers."
Pro: "Media/entertainment great for Santiago London leg. Not so mucho for the London Srockholm part."

Contra: "The anarchy boarding process. The lack of plugs on the flight. The 2-year-old lap child in the seat with his Mom next to me that kicked, threw, fussed, hit, cried and more through most of the 8-hour flight because somehow a child that big doesn't need his own seat. The lousy, lousy food. The lack of food. The seats that were so tight I couldn't get up to use the lavatory when the inconsiderate woman in front of me put her seat back (and I'm totally average size). The awful entertainment selection. The worn, dirty plane."
Contra: "Didn't serve two meals despite the price; uncomfortable seats (seated right behind the bathroom); being offered a drink was few and far between; and we have two wait over two hours due to a delay at our layover city because of BA system failures"
Pro: "The connecting flight got canceled and 24 hours latter we are still in the airport trying to get to our final destination."
Contra: "We rebooked our flight to another flight firvthe following day and that one got canceled too. They have not returned our luggage yet. They said within a week we'll get our luggage. The worst company on the planet. Do not fly them. Our vacation has turned into a nightmare. We had to repurchase tickets with a different company so we can get to our final destination. We don't know if we'll get reimbursed for any portion of this."
Contra: "Flight attendant"
Pro: "The airline boarded a little late, but that's typical in Europe. They gave lots of food for the in-flight meal. Several people didn't have their screens work, so they rebooted the system, and then it worked fine. The crew constantly came through with beverages."
Pro: "Not a darn thing."
Contra: "The flights at Heathrow had been delayed all day, according to the pilot from Paris to London. Well all except the connection that I missed due to a lot of slow moving people and delayed take off. So I was directed to stand in the rebooking line to get on another flight. I stood in that line for over 6 hours! Once i finally reached the counter, I was told the next available flight wasnt until the next day, and that I would be put up in a hotel for the night. The hotel was an hour bus ride away (which I had to pay for), and my arrival at the Hotel was too late for me to use my meal voucher for dinner. There were many other issues as well regarding misplaced baggage, trying to charge me twice for my extra bag, along with several efficiency muckups causing insufferable delays. What a disaster"
