What is even more frustrating is that a women's purse is allowed, so I saw women carrying giant bags with their laptops, etc. in those bags, whereas I had to stuff mine into my carry-on briefcase. This is not normal (as in, other airlines allow it), is not mentioned in the ticket, not mentioned while given the boarding pass, BUT is strictly enforced at the very last minute right before entering the plane."

In the economy/coach cabin, they squeeze the seat distances to such an extent that, when the person in front of you leans their chair back, you cannot get out of your seat at an upright angle. You have to significantly bend your body. To not loose your balance, you have to grab on to the seat in front of you and that disturbs the other passenger. If they're sleeping, they can be woken up by that. Lufthansa does not care much for its passengers. Nor do many other companies, for that matter, but I think Lufthansa is taking things further than most airlines. It is a disgrace. Their brand is not what it once was."

Needless to say, there was nothing else suspicious about me once the watch was removed. Eager to exercise her power, the security person did not seem to consider that she slowed down a long line of people waiting to be screened. I should add that I am 73 yrs old grey haired female who has traveled a lot both for pleasure and business during my entire life, often to some difficult places and that I do not argue with or provoke those in power in a situation like this. The yelling and the sending me repeatedly through the scanner, which did not beep once the watch was removed, was beyond anything I had experienced anywhere else. The sending me to the very end of the line seemed outright spiteful. (I did miss the plane connection.)"

Then we had to climb steep steps in extremely hot weather. We were then delayed for a hour in the plane in very hot conditions as the plane had its air conditioning off and the ground air conditioning was not put on. We were swearing in the heat for an hour!! We arrived at our destination and hour and half late!!"
Pro: "The crew was super friendly and always gave the feeling that they want the customers to feel comfortable and enjoy the flight. One of the crew members even offered me to move to an emergency exit seat (without me asking to move) because I am tall. Amazing!"
Contra: "CDG is a monster. The distances are long . The signage is poor and when I asked for directions the diirections I got were wrong."
Pro: "Plane was clean. Pilots made up some of departure delay time in the air between NCE & CDG."
Contra: "Unorganized boarding process and minimal info or announcements regarding delay. Failure to respect SkyPriority status at boarding were disappointing. (Staff allowed it to be a bit pushy and chaotic and people were able to force their way in line, ahead of those who had been waiting in line.) Seats were okay but no recline and underseat storage was small. (Backpack wouldn't fit underseat and had to be stored in overhead.) Passengers crowding from back of plane upon arrival made it hard to deplane and felt rude."
Pro: "The food, entertainment, and service. Waited for me after almost missing my flight."

Pro: "First flight I’ve been on where United airlines has adequate leg room for a tall person. A newish airbus plane. I’ve been avoiding United for a number of years cause their planes tend to be very uncomfortable for taller passengers. This is the seat spacing that all airlines should have."

Contra: "Our flight to Munich arrived late. And our connecting flight to Milan was originally scheduled to leave just 50 minutes after our arrival in Munich. We did not make our flight to Milan and have lost a half day of time at our destination, as well as more than $100 in non-refundable Italian train tickets. Even if our plane had arrived to Munich on time it would have been nearly impossible to make our connecting website. Flight pairings with this short of a layover should not be suggested at this airport when travelers are required to go through passport control."
Pro: "Our flight attendants were delightful, courteous, and helpful, but the flight had ZERO entertainment available without additional payment (even the flight tracker cost extra money)."
Contra: "I didn’t like that the data before our departure our flight departure was changed from 1 PM to 1:30 PM and the day of it was changed again to 1:18, but then was delayed again. That issue made us late to Chicago which caused us to miss our connecting flight to Minneapolis by 4 minutes. 4 MINUTES!!! . So as I write this review I am sitting in ohare at 5:17 AM awaiting my flight when I DHOULD have been in bed in Minneapolis for the past 8 hours"
Pro: "Despite all the security checks, it was easy to board even in group 4. :)"
Contra: "Food was just mediocre. Would be nice to see a menu. They didn't offer slippers and the eye masks for the long flight. Comfort plus seats were spacious not really "comfortable:"

Contra: "My connecting flight was delayed by 4 hours due tknsmong in India. I called United ahead of time to tell them I was not able to make my flight and if there was anyway I could get a new ticket. The representative was confident that 40 minutes between my flights at Delhi was enough time to make it despite me reminding her about the time it took to get off the plane, pick up my luggage, get through immigrations and travel to my terminal. She was very wrong. She insisted I call them when I land and that I go to the ticket booth. Little did she know that once I miss my flight my ticket is no longer valid and I was no longer able to enter the airport in India. Once I reached the entrance I was directed to a Untied booth all the way at the end of the terminal and was told to buy a new ticket. There was no United representative at this booth. I waited 3 hours and even called the number posted at the booth. No one picked up and no one came. I had wasted several hours. I ultimately decided to buy a ticket online spending another thousand dollars to get back home when I was told that I would be given a new ticket at the booth by United. But I had to wait another 24 hours outside the airport because I was not allowed in so early prior to my flight. Very unprofessional and unhelpful when I needed it the most."

Contra: "Our original flight was cancelled and on the rebook, which added a stop, my family of 4 which includes a 4mo and 5 yr old were all given separate middle seats. When we brought this up we were told only the gate agent could adjust. Although at the time there were seats together they were "economy plus." Not surprisingly the gate agent was very rude when we approached her with the issue, insinuated it was our fault, that we were extra trouble for traveling with 2 small children, and that we may have to be bumped. We were finally accommodated at the last second but it was unneeded stress. Also several flight attendants gave us a hard time for bringing aboard our infant car seat despite the fact it is FAA approved and we bought a seat for it and it is the current recommendation of the FAA to do so."
Contra: "Crew remained their usual ignorant, uninterested , back-of-the-plane kitty party groupies"
Pro: "The cabin lights were off during takeoff and it was wonderful because the lady with the crying baby behind me was finally able to get her baby to sleep."
Contra: "Then all of the cabin lights turn me down on. And woke the baby up. And stayed on for the duration of the flight, not turning back off until we landed. I feel like the cabin lights should at least be dimmed for a flight that goes from 11 pm to 1 am."

The RUDE woman (poor English) with assisted boarding then the RUDE man that changed my name and my luggage he chose to send to Dayton OH -never been there in my life and he "dug" thru my luggage - as if he was searching for MONEY or GOLD -he pulled out a protein drink and I asked him to hand that to me so I could drink it as I am a diabetic - he shouted at me "I THROW AWAY'. During the two hour delay I could have used it !! Poor service I will fly American from now on !!!!!!!!!!!"
Contra: "The biggest problem I had was that the gate was changed and I wasn't notified. So I had to go from Concourse A to C, then back to A. Thankfully, I gave myself plenty of time and everyone was helpful."
