Plane delayed and we missed our connecting flight.
Lufhtansa app does not work well
Contra: "More direction once crew knew the connecting flight would be lost, especially to minors"
Pro: "The crew was fantastic, never bothered sleeping people, and had a great trip."
Contra: "Nothing, best transatlantic flight I’ve had so far honestly."
Contra: "Did not fly to D.C. (or with Lufthansa at all) as that flight left before our first flight arrived. We had to wait 3 hours in the customer service line before we were told we could not fly out until the next day, which caused me to miss work (even though I gave an entire day as a buffer)."
Pro: "Great crew. Great seats"
Contra: "Flight was delayed by half an hour. Mainly due to limited carryon space. During check in we offered to check in carry on luggage, but were told it would be an additional cost! If they would have checked it in that would have saved 15 minutes easily"
Contra: "Few toilets for two sections and seats too close, if it is not uptight the seat in front of you. You can not enjoy and watch movies."
Pro: "Good service overall. Great crew."

Contra: "Flight was canceled one hour before departure. There was no explanation except that the crew decided not to fly from Boston to Washington DC. We waited for two hours in a line to get rebooked. We lost our tickets on another flight connecting us to our final destination. Therefore, we had to re-book that flight and incur charges. Lufthansa Considers this consequential loss not responsible for fees incurred. This service is unacceptable and will make us reconsider ever flying this airline again."
Pro: "Friendly and professional crew, toys for the child."
Contra: "My luggage was lost and not located"

Pro: "My wife and I travel frequently and Lufthansa has always been a "notch above" all other airlines in onboard service. Imagine, airplane food that you can actually eat and enjoy!"

Contra: "NO legroom. Like, none. Seat in front of me hadn’t mechanicals underneath, so no footroom. Passenger put seat back, and I couldn’t use my tray table. Crew call buttons on the arm, so by merely putting your elbow down, you risked calling the crew ( I did it twice). Then my TV broke. Not a terrific experience overall"
Pro: "The Lufthansa crew is always wonderful as always."
Contra: "screaming and kicking child behind my seat, with no way to "escape". I had a severe cold and that was certainly not something I needed, I tried to get some rest, but that was impossible. The seats are getting smaller and smaller, hardly any legroom whatsoever. Also, what I had planned on bringing on the aircraft as carry on (which was my work equipment, tablet/printer etc), I had to check in as luggage because it was "overweight" meaning more than 8 kg and pay ADDITIONAL $200 (in addition to the $100 I already paid for one suitcase). I've seen many passengers with "heavy" carry on, which they were apparently allowed to bring into the cabin without any problems. I had never had to pay for any carry on, and I am seriously considering using another airline for future business travel."
Pro: "Firstly, the food was great!"

Pro: "Selection of meals (veg / non veg), nice and polite crew, selection of entertainment options, availability of drinks and snacks on the plane in between meal service. Seats are decent in size and comfortable in the economy class, the aircraft feels like new, clean and fresh."
Contra: "The movie selection button on the screen is a bit hard to use and slow scrolling thru the titles. Nonetheless, enjoyed watching movies. Good variety of movie genres."

Contra: "The flight boarded late, and very slowly, and took off late as a consequence. Thus, landing late. The inflight entertainment is only accessible with aps that you need to download before you get on the plane, when, of course, you don't know you need them. A remarkably illogical process."

Contra: "I don't understand the boarding process with Lufthansa. Lufthansa does not board by zone but they let everybody board at the same time. The seats in economy class are not wide enough."
Pro: "The seats are hard and we were packed like sardines in the back rows. Wish that they would pass out water more often, we were dehydrated and also cold. Choice of movies were ok. The kids movies were the best"

The lady charged me an exorbitant amount saying that the "flight was overbooked". I am NEVER flying Lufthansa again. In addition, I am spreading the word to family and friends who use Lufthansa to use another air carrier."

Contra: "I'm very uncomfortable when I don't have clear access to the aisle. I asked the gate agent if she had any aisle seats available and she said no. So I asked if there were any upgrade seats available and she said yes for 300 Euros. They were actually three-quarters of the way boarded when I ask a question so realistically they wouldn't have sold that seat. But they refused give it away. So they're more interested in making money then making a customer comfortable."
Pro: "Flight was ok. It was short but loud. Service was good but seats were tight and no in flight entertainment."
Pro: "Took off on time and we got breakfast. Good crew."
Contra: "Older plane, no entertainment offerings. Leg room seemed to be less than expected even thought was in business class section."
Contra: "Ryanair announced that we could postpone the flights without any cost due to corona virus and when I tried to reach them/to change the flight date the change tax was still there."

Contra: "They made us wait at the gate an hour without saying nothing, and then inside the plane, we had to wait 30 minutes to departure, and they didn't explain anything neither."
Contra: "Ryanair’s app was down preventing me from check-in for my flight. When I went to the counter to get my boarding passes printed, the agent informed me that they where going to charge me 55€ per ticket. I think this is unfair! Never flying again with this airline!"

Contra: "The time of the layover between a Ryanair flight that requires you to check baggage and then pick up from the carousel, go through customs, and an Aer Lingus flight that you then had to check into at the Aer Lingus desk (online check in was not an option) and go BACK through security IS NOT HUMANLY POSSIBLE. This was a huge waste of time and money and I do not recommend using two airlines, especially not if it involves RyanAir and the Manchester airport. I have to cancel reservations that I will not be able to make the rest of the time I’m at this destination. Moving flights cost me €60 and missing my reservation at an escape room is an emotional cost that cannot be compensated. Very unsatisfied."

Contra: "The 90 minute delay was a bit of a killer... also we where not told about the delay when checking in our hold luggage.... one of my party smoke and where a bit put out to find out about the delay once they had gone through customs etc and then couldn’t smoke."

Contra: "Hour late departure , which is a frequent event... perhaps due to summer weather. Putting a two year old sitting alone, away from parents and insisting parents should make arrangements with other passengers. Standing outside the plane another fifteen minutes."

Pro: "Quick disembarking due to quite empty plane ( for ryanair that usually has full )"
Contra: "Staff seemed a bit irritated with each other. The boarding took so long - we were towards the end of the queue but still had to wait a long time for the dooors to close - not very ryanair as they usually have all of us waiting to get on the plane. This was especially weird as the plane was quite empty Might need to lower the up selling - the flying time was 55 mins approx and the poor cabin crew were wheeling the cart about 3 minutes after take off with the plane still climbing quite steeply. The crew are trying to sell the same as a 3 hour ryanair flight - hot food, snacks, drinks, scratch cards, and the perfumes"

Contra: "Cramped seats, I’m 6’3” or 191cm and am now used to that. Very little cushion on them, so for flights >2hrs it’s going to be uncomfortable but tolerable. Hate their new carry-on policy; moneygrabbers. No snacks nor beverages for free, even in a 3:30hr flight. No entertainment system. No magazine pocket in seats. No reclinable seats. You et what you pay for."

Contra: "If you haven't printed your boarding pass, be sure that you have enough power on your phone because you will need to present your boarding pass at least 5 times at the Athens airport. Beware, that most phones burn through power while roaming in another country. The boarding area for Ryan air is chaotic and the gate agents are rude."

Pro: "Predictability. With international travel, there are many stations to be met. My flight with Ryanair provided predicable travel with transfers in mind and courteous professional service.I felt safely cared for. thank you"
Contra: "Due to a technical problem of the aircraft a site inspection was needed. - While waiting, the lead flight attendent, Anikó was chit-chatting in Hungarian with some passengers, sharing different information in an unacceptable, non-professional manner (how often and why Ryanair flights are delayed, how passengers act in such cases, she only had 2h sleep the previous night, etc). A disgrace both for the airline and her profession!"
Pro: "Still have not left London"

Contra: "The check in staff at the booth were rude to me and then short with others at baggage check in Athens. I saw the gate check in employee being short to guests as well. the company culture feels negative in my one experience. To compare with another regional carrier who seemed to have it together, Olympus, the Ryanair staff didn't appear to like their jobs. Also, Ryanair charges for seat assignments even when you don't have a preference. And the checked luggage size restriction is the smallest I've ever seen. I pack light but the bag I would have needed to have a free checked bag is tiny. Again, my money will go to Olypus Air the next time I'm in this region."

Contra: "Me on row 2 ...wife row 18. All because we didn't pay 'extra' for seats that we had already paid for in the price of a flight! So, basically, if you don't pay, then Ryanair purposely separate couples in punishment. As a frequent flier, this was the very last time myself and my family will be using Ryanunfair!"
Pro: "A flight as you would expect it, on time etc"

Contra: "The flight was delayed as the flight before hadn't landed, which happens. But when we arrived at Stanstead we waited a long time to get off of the plane, and the bags from the hold were not released for another hour and a half after landing, with no recogition of this or apology for the wait."
Contra: "Four hour delay leaving Stansted because the outsourced ground crew was understaffed. Abysmal."
Pro: "Ryanair check in staff helped us by handwriting our boarding passes."
Contra: "Checked baggage fees were outrageous. Cabin crew could not control loud druncks from Spanish football fans - loud yelling and screaming up and down aisle for over an hour."
Contra: "The actual airport in Santorini is a zoo and everything takes far longer than it should. There are countless lines to wait in and huge inefficiencies in the way they operate. This causes frustration but Ryan Air only added to that tenfold. They nickel and dime their customers for everything including charging 62 Euro for in person check in. They then charge for overweight and oversized bags but these are based on their unorthodox weight and size restrictions. The worst part of all of this is that after going through 3 lines, you then find out your bag is too big and are forced to go back to the gate agent to start the process over. The flight left late because of these delays. This airline is a joke and I would not recommend flying with them to my worst enemy!"

Pro: "You know what you're paying for when you fly RyanAir but it's usually worth it especially on these short flights. Boarding, traveling, and landing were all great!"
