From USA, San Jose, Ca, to Frankfurt, Germany everything was good (flight on 08/31/2018 - 09/01/2018). They have been very profesional, beganing wih the boarding time untill the arrival in Frankfurt. The flight to Romania was a different story. They haven't been very professional at all. The flight had a delay and nobody said a word. It was just a clerck there who didn't tell to the Lufthansa passengers for a while anything about our delay. So, finally, he said after 15-20 minutes that our fligt will be later, 20 minutes, than the scheduled time on our tickets. They seemed do not care too much about the Romanian passengers."

Contra: "1 person working the service desk. I had a question about our connecting flight from Frankfurt and I was told to call the 1-800 number. When I went to check my bag the woman was very rude and asked me "why do I think I can check two bags?" and questioned my Star Alliance premium silver status, demanding I show her my card (I have no card). My friend was flying with me and she was told that her carry on, mind you had flown to and within europe, was too big for the overhead storage and she had to pay 90 euros to check it and the woman held her boarding pass and wouldn't give it to her. we waited in line at the service desk for over 40 minutes so that she could pay. We arrived to the airport 2.5 hours early to eat and shop for souvenirs. We barely made it in time to get to our gate because of the inefficiencies of Lufthansa. 1 person working a service desk for a large airport is unacceptable, especially when they are 8-10 waiting to scan your baggage and not helping out at all. I had a wonderful flight to Europe on Lufthansa and was absolutely appalled at the attitudes of the airport staff and their lack of customer service."

Since we were connecting to an International flight to return to the US there was no possibility we would be able to get to the International terminal through security and board our flight in the time available. So, Lufthansa staff met the connecting passengers as we disembarked, shuttled us via bus to the International terminal and ensured we made our connection. Finally, for airline food it was quite good (Vegan)."

When I got to checkout they said I had pay for the suitcase. Turns out my flight was economy 'light' flight and I had to go the Austrian airlines desk and pay euro 40 for my suitcase. Wish that would have been clear when I purchased the ticket. Also there is no clear info on what the cost is for your bag at what point in the check-in process."
Pro: "They were really good with checking in my excess baggage and my two cats. Cats travelled well and arrived as expected. Check in at O'Hare was very friendly. In the air, flight attendants were very accommodating and friendly. All luggage and cats arrived! The plane from O'Hare to Austria was very nice!"
Contra: "I think I have gotten used to Asiana's and Korean Airlines'. It just didn't seem to measure up to their business class service. The food (which has been highly rated!) I found to be just mediocre. Maybe it's because I was living in Asia for eight years and had become more accustom to asian cuisine?? I didn't love the seat either. When you recline, your feet are cramped inside a small area under the seat in front of you. It was cramped. The ability to customize the seat recline was limited. I like being able to move the head and feet into my own customized position. The business class seats from Vienna to Amman felt like coach."

Pro: "Nothing, we never got to go on our flight to Vienna. The only good thing is the manager, Servando, found us an alternative route after some delay. Even then, we had to haggle and really fight for fair treatment for a mistake that was 100% the airline's fault."
Contra: "Our seats were involuntarily given away by the airport staff. We were never notified until we were scanning our tickets to board in. At that time, we had already checked in and received our boarding passes, as well as checking in 3 bags while we were traveling with a large group. There was no way we wanted to volunteer our seats, especially since we had a transfer flight to catch. We clearly stated we did NOT want to volunteer our seats at the ticket counter. No staff notified us until we were about to get on the plane to board. The flight supervisor was very rude and unprofessional, offering us no alternative solutions. I was really disappointed with such a grievous mistake by the airline, and I would not recommend flying Austrian Airlines unless it was absolutely the only airline available. They need to fix their processes for authorizing when they volunteer a passenger's seat. This caused our group a lot of stress and almost became a logistical nightmare."

We had to go to the ticket counter for them to clear it up and put us back on the flight. The flight itself was not bad. The flight attendants are a bit rude and condescending. The seats and entertainment was not bad."
Contra: "1. Cancelled our outgoing flight hours before it was set to leave; notified us via email; barely got re-booked via different airlines and had to take 3 different flights to reach out destination; missed the 2nd flight because LOT put us on a flight that was departing 30 minutes before out 1st flight arrived. 2. When we got another 2nd flight, we arrived at our final destination without our bags. LOT assured us that our bags were on our flight before we boarded but calling and confirming that they were able to transfer our bags (only had 40 minutes between flights), but of course, it was a complete lie. We did not get our bag until the next day in the evening over 24 hours later. At that point I was happy they found them and gave them to us. 3. Turns out, they cancel flights pretty often and they also book people on transfer flights that are too close for people to make it. We traveled with a handful of other passengers that had the same experience and people were in tears about their horrible travel experience. 4. Warsaw Airport - they only have 5 passport control officers clearing travelers and because they don;t have lines or any type of organization of these travelers, the lines our out of control. People are pushing each other, crying because they are missing flights or not feeling well because of no air and all the pushing and shoving. I was pregnant standing in the line for over 40 minutes. They would not let pregnant passengers or passengers with kids with them pass in their disabled line. Only people in the wheelchairs were allowed to pass there. Horrible airport and even more horrible airline! PLEASE SPARE YOURSELF AND DO NOT RUIN YOUR VACATION."

Contra: "Airline is always late with no layover time making journeys stressful. The food and drink is only available for pay. There is no entertainment. There is a small snack which has been expired cookies on all flights I’ve experienced, and the staff seems reluctant to provide it. Boarding involved making everyone wait standing up for more than twenty five minutes corralled into as corner."

I booked my flight through an app and it didn't give me any checked baggage so I tried to modify my booking through airserbia website but I couldn't so I ended up paying 60 euros for my bag at the airport."
Pro: "Ehhhhh I was cool with certain things but nothing to like . The people who work there were nice though."
Contra: "The selection of movies . Very poor . What entertainment?"
Pro: "The plane was an airbus, nothing to rave about nothing also to complain about. It got us there safely and relatively speaking on time after a later inbound arrival."
Contra: "The process of check in was terrible could not do so on line at least in Berlin. It is possible elsewhere in the system. Long and slow line for check in and then long and slow line for passport control and security, but we survived it. Advice is arrive early, you will need the time."
Contra: "The worst airline ever. CUSTOEMR SERVICE IS AN UNKNOWN WORD TO THEM. I WILL NEVER FLY WITH THIS AIRLINE AGAIN AND YOU SHOULD REMOVE THEM FROM YORU PROPOSALS."

After all that, the airline changed my seat without warning, moving me from the window seat I selected (and paid for) to a middle seat. Where did they get the idea I would think that was OK? Then the flight was delayed, almost missed my connection. Boarding and exiting the aircraft were zoos. Eminently unrepeatable."

I had to rush to the airport couldn't by my ticket because they don't sell at counter and then was on phone with air Serbia for 45 mins before I could buy my flight on a long distance call which will probably cost me $50."
Contra: "It was very cold in airplane. Bad food. No covers. No tv"
Pro: "Flight was on time, nice plane with lots of leg room, flight was nice apart from near landing. Food was good with a free drink too."
Contra: "We were told to go to a desk for boarding car which we walked for some time to get too and were then told to go to the gate and they would give us a boarding card then. Much walking for no reason. They need to communicate with each other and customers more."
Pro: "Easy check in, flight was on time, crew were nice and free meal and drink."
Contra: "Check in was much slower that all other check in desks and was only 2 girls then 3 girls on check in."

Pro: "Air Serbia is way better than old JAT Airways (or at least better than JAT Airways after 1992). They are improving and it seems that they will be a solid regional company, as well as a good Etihad partner."
Contra: "I don`t know why they still didn`t decomission old ATR-72 turboprops. They might use them on some flights, but I believe that they should buy or lease some mid-range jets even for short-haul flights. Austrian Airways uses jets for BEG-VIE service."

Contra: "We boarded our flight from gate C7, which as is common in Eastern Europe, a bus gate. To enter the gate, we were completely rescreened, although we had been screened to go from Bucharest to Belgrade. We waited on the bus for 15 minutes. Only a few seats on the bus so it is a standup experience. Finally the bus started driving to the parked planes, but turned away and drove to a where you would exit the bus after arriving. They told everyone to go upstairs where they explained that there was a "technical problem" on then plane and it would be delayed an hour. They sent everyone to gate A4a, where everyone was prescreened again. We waited in a hot gate for an hour, then boarded the bus and to make a long story short, we arrived in Zagreb 1 and a quarter hours late."
Contra: "I am almost 2 meter tall (6'4) and I asked more than 30 days before the flight to receive a seat with extra room for the legs, I was told that the flight was fully booked and there are no seat that are available. I then asked for the same in the check-in and received a similar answer. When I arrived to the plain I saw that I can't seat because there is no space so I asked the flight crew to try and find a solution but they said they can't do nothing. Only after I insisted and spoke with the cabin manager they checked and found a place - in fact there were 2 seats with extra room for the legs that were available!! and the flight had many other open seats (they just lied about it). A lot of the personal television did not work and the crew did not assist and did not solve the problem, but just said that this happens and that they can't do anything. This is just ridicolus for a more than 8 hours flight! The airconditioning did not work properly and it was exteremly hot. In general it was an horrible experience, the crew was very unpleasent and did not want to help and the food was just disgusting. I do not recommend to anyone to fly with Air Serbia, you better pay the extra money and fly with a real company."

Contra: "The flight was operated by a avery small plane, so we were advised to leave the carryons outside to be put in the hold. Once on the plane, I thought my bag would fit in the overhead bin. Also, was annoyed that flight attendants would approach you speaking Serbian, which I don't."
Pro: "The seat, flexibility were great..and food are tasty and delicious"
Contra: "The crew was not friendly for the flight to Belgrade"
Contra: "It took 1:40min to go through the boarding process (drop luggage, get boarding pass). The actual flight is 1:20min. Total incompetence and lack of speed. This is how they worked it...They try to board multiple flights off the same counters. You stand in line for 1 hour and no movement happens- literally!?Then, since the next flight is about to be delayed - they announce for you to stampede forward, to make your flight. Then the process actually begins and 20min later and some bureaucracy on extra luggage you get your pass. Then you run through passport control and security, exhausted and frustrated (as was everyone else). Etihad should instruct Serbian Airlines in which they invested, how a plane (s) are to be boarded. After all it's over 100 years since the first commercial flight took place, its not that much of a mystery any more:)"
Contra: "I had a kid sitting on the seat behind me and kept kicking my seat. :("
Pro: "Short flight so the lack of enterntainmet was not a problem. Clean airplane, tidy and very friendly staff. Food and drinks very fine compared to duration of the flight. Deparure on time, same with arrival."
Contra: "As I said this flight was on time, but the previous, CDG - BEG was delayed one hour."

Pro: "Very experienced and kind ground staff as well in the aircraft, BEST PILOTS IN THE WORLD ! Fantastic and generous portion of food, clean and new aircraft."
Contra: "There is nothing wrong one could mention about Air Serbia - they have great connections, many destinations, from recently even direct flight from Belgrade to New York, very good prices, and beside Turkish Airlines they have the best food catering among European airlines ! I just hope that airport in Belgrade will follow the success of Air Serbia and that "Nikola Tesla" Airport will be upgraded soon."
