I had to sit on an angle (one butt cheek at a time) for 9 yours. I do not have a big butt either. This seat should have been a discounted seat, not a premium seat. I am so angry about this, I will NEVER fly Air France again."

Flight attendant said she would "call to have it reset" but it never worked. Fortunately, there was an adjacent empty seat that I moved to on my own initiative and without the flight attendant offering a seat change."

In the end I was tucking to get checked in because they were insisting I use a kiosk but I was telling them that the kiosk said to see an attendee. If you don't print out your boarding card, if you don't check in online… you can't make it up they charge you when you have a hiccup. It's disgraceful and shameless. You discover these extra fees along the way because they don't mention this up front and in bold letters—for a good reason."
Contra: "Bought the 2 bag priority but they forced us to check one of the bags any way (on the way back we were able to bring bag on flight so it was nothing to do with size of the wheels as they suggested) - staff was unfriendly. Seats were dirty. Had to pay extra for checking in early to my return flight since I am not EU/EEA citizen and can't use mobile app and wouldn't have a chance to print my return boarding pass - and although according to the plane plan I chose a window seat my seat had now window. Never again."

They should be honest from the beginning instead of telling a lot of lies - it may avoid a lot of conflicts between passengers and crew."

Except the website will not except any of our flight and travel or information it is it long and laborious procedure. We ended up spending over two hours attempting to get everyone in our party of four registered to check in for their flight only to have the website repeatedly crash and not send us the boarding passes . So in the end I would just warn anyone dealing with Ryan air to print your boarding passes as soon as you book your tickets and slip them into your suitcase once you're traveling and you don't have access to a business center you cannot get their website and/or their app to work correctly for you and if you don't have a boarding pass before you get to the airport they will charge you I believe the charge is €30 per person for them to print you a boarding pass even though their website and their app will not let you download a copy of your boarding pass in a timely and or easy fashion."

Contra: "nickel & dimed entire process. Crew hates their lives so they yell at passengers. They would not allow you to lower your window shade at any point during the flight and would verbally assault you if you did."
Contra: "Me and my colleague were obligated to pay a 45,00 euro fee per person for not doing the check in online. This was our first and last time flying with Ryanair. I was in vacation for the last week before the flight and did not have any internet/mobile access (no internet and no mobiles for vacation). At the check in the operator told us to pay a 45,00 euro fee for not doing the check in online. I appologize but no more Ryanair for me and all of family, friends and acquaintances."

Contra: "When I bought the ticket, the plane was supposed to leave at 4:10pm, then it was changed to 4:30pm and although I asked for help explaining that I was going to miss my connection they said there was nothing they could do for me. So I lost my next flight and had to spend the night at a hotel at my own expense. They charge extra for checking in at the counter (43 euros), for your bag (40-60 euros), and their kg limit is 20 as opposed to 23 that most other airlines have, so they charge 10 euros per extra kg. During the flight you have to pay for everything you may want to eat/drink, including water."

Contra: "We planned this trip several months out, then my husbands military orders (temporary duty) were extended. I called and called and called and emailed because I had stupidly purchased the insurance also. No one would help even because of the sudden change to our plans. So we're out money for all of us, and nothing can be done and no one will help. When we do make this trip later -- after my husband retires, I will not be working with any of these companies."

Pro: "That in advance the tickets were very cheap."
Contra: "First, I didn't have internet access for 2weeks prior to my flight, so I had no idea I had to check in in advance online, and any way, I couldn't do it because I didn't have internet access. So they were going to charge us 25 euros to check us in and some other ridiculous amount to print out our boarding passes. Honestly, I've never seen an airline that does not print boarding passes for you. So we were in line 3 times because of stupid wild goose chases that could've just been resolved in one sitting if it wasn't for a ridiculous system they have. Then we needed to check in our bags and we were prepared to pay a checked-in bag fee, but they charged 190 euros for 2vhecked bags!!!! What?!?!? And.... We had to go somewhere else to pay the fee and come back to finally get our boarding passes. So in all honesty, the "cheap" flight was not cheap, it took us 2 hours to complete the boarding, 4 visits to the counter. And... That's not even all, it felt like everyone treated the plane like if it was a train or a metro, people throwing things across the aisle, getting up and walking around (not to go to the toilets, and it was a two hour flight, no need to stretch your legs all that much) and to top it off a lady that was so drunk she kept hitting our seats, yelling, getting up when we were landing and wow! It was awful! And all of that and not even a complimentary cup of water. I am usually not a complainer but those four hours of Ryanair ridiculousness got me to the point of furious! I will NEVER fly with them again. I'll pay a little more for the convenience and comfort of other airlines."
