Food isn't great, but no airline food is really great. Boarding was significantly delayed from what it said on the boarding pass, with no updates. But we arrived on time. Getting luggage after flight at Dulles took a really long time, but I think that is more of an airport issue as getting my luggage from another Austrian airlines flight to another airport was a breeze."

They were kind to invite first families with children to pass to the bus but this meant sitting in a sauna @ 40+ Celsius until all passengers went through the gate. Driver was all red and close to fainting. Pity, I was looking forward seeing one of the big managers coming next to us to enjoy the Tarom experience...!"
Pro: "At check in we were given a window and middle seat, even though I had requested cross aisles, as my wife has a bad knee. The aisle seat was taken by a very large man (I also am large). The flight attendant saw some empty seats in another row and moved the person in the aisle seat to that row. He's A-1 in my book."

Pro: "The flight was on time, even though it left with almost 30 mins' delay (despite the fact that boarding was complete with a few minutes before the schedule take off time)."
Contra: "Seat comfort - the seats are tied with Ryanair for worst comfort (rigid and very cramped). Worst of all, though, as with Ryanair - seat allocation. Please, stop this "even though you're travelling together, you may be seated separately unless you pay to choose your seats" nonsense. It's ridiculous!"
Contra: "1h 45 minutes waiting for luggages in Bucharest Otopeni. Still not delivered."
Contra: "Never announced for non-priority boarding, so many people were late to flight, causing delays. Much less than minimum leg room required for any normal human. Sat bolt upright with front seat digging into knees for 3 hours. Far from the cheapest ticket, but totally no frills, no food, no entertainment, limited baggage. Wizz Air mobile app barely works when required (for boarding passes, etc) Not enough room in overheads for all the carry on they allowed, had to sit with bag and jacket on my lap for flight, as no room under seat either."
Pro: "On time, cabin crew, ease of boarding and amount of bags I could take with Priority Boarding"
Contra: "My seat hadn't been cleaned prooerly before I got there and if I hadn't done it myself, I would have someone else's chocolate all over the seat of my trousers. Also, the bathroom floors were really gross, to the point I had to roll uo the legs of my trousers so they didn't get wet when I needed to use the toilet."
Pro: "Everything was ok"
Contra: "Unconfortable sears. The seats cannot be moved back. The table is too high. I have traveled a lot but never seen tables at this height (above the chest). No entertainment, no wifi, and no food, but that's ok. After all, it's a low cost floght although many other low cost companies have wifi and entertaonments via mobile devices."

Contra: "My husband was seated in row 2 and I was seated in row 29, even though there were many spare seats in blocks of two and three that we could have been sat in; then I was forced to put my carryon luggage in the hold, meaning I had to wait ages at the baggage reclaim on arrival, and was late for my air BnB check in. When I booked my flight I deliberately chose not to check any luggage, spent time planning what to take so that it would fit in a carryon bag, and measured out my liquids into small bottles so that they passed the liquids restrictions: all effort and time spent in vain due to Wizz Air. I was furious!"

Contra: "Unable to understand tanoi messages - mumbling & too fast. Could not make out most of what staff said including why there was an hour's delay and safety procedures. If i were to bring an oversized and too heavy handluggage on board no doubt I wouldn't get away with it ! However the number of large and heavy bags passengers brought on board last night was ridiculous . It was a real struggle for people to find lockers for.their bags. Some people had quite a few. Delays take off and creates unnecessary chaos. Couldn't understand why I had to pay to check in online, obviously missed that when bookrd. Although I recall reading that it will cost if you check in the airport- so most likely my error. No facility or button to print boarding pass once checked in. No contact us button - I would like to change seat I booked for return but cannot see how to do this on line."
Pro: "Purchased priority boarding for a change which was nice to be able to not have to jump in the queue quickly. Boarding was fine and the crew were very friendly and professional. The extra legroom seats over the wing provided a good extra space."
Contra: "The cleanliness of the plane was not good, the carpets were fraying and the seats were old and tired. The seats were positioned too upright and there was no option to recline the seat so it was a very straight seat for 2hrs on the flight."

They claimed the fee was for checking in in person---and then they also claimed it was too late to check in online. There is no information in my flight confirmation from Flightnetwork.com, which i purchased on kayak, indiciating that such a fee would be charged. Many other passengers had the same experience."

Contra: "Bit slow in opening the gate for people to get on. They expect to cram you like sardines on a hot staircase with no where to go when there is other people being checked in to board behind you, really stupid and possibly sadistic."

When I got there because I was within 3 hours of boarding they had given away my ticket and made me a last priority boarder. Had to pay extra for checking in early to my return flight since I am not EU/EEA citizen and can't use mobile app and wouldn't have a chance to print my return boarding pass - and although according to the plane plan I chose a window seat my seat had now window. I'm small so all of the rude people rushed the plane and I had to wait in the back or get trampled. Why did I pay extra for priority? Even at the gate. People just moved the barrier and sat in the priority section. No enforcement of rules at all. So everyone got priority treatment - or you could say no one got priority treatment, just some of us paid extra to be treated like cattle."

Contra: "i went to airport and astonished that they sent me an email ( during my vacation ) saying that I must check in online ( I didn't took my vacation to read emails especially when the email is sent the same day i will travel ) , i went to pay the check in fees ( which are very high ) , the system refused the master card , Visa card and the employee refused the 500 euro bill , i was compulsory to draw cash from ATM machine , when I came back to counter the employees refused to check me in saying ( you are late now !!!!!!!!!!!) , i was late because of your way of working and misleading customers. as a result i lost more than 1500 euro to get new tickets from Thessaloniki-Athens then Amman and getting a hotel for additional night and taxis ...etc . what made me laugh is that my refund was refused by Ryanair . this is a joke company and I'm thinking in suing them ."

They charge 3 euros for water ( in flight) and if for some reason your phone stops working and you have not printed your passes they charge 45 euros to print your tickets. They should be honest from the beginning instead of telling a lot of lies - it may avoid a lot of conflicts between passengers and crew."
