Contra: "CONSTANT ANXIETY!! Our flight to Chicago was delayed. By 2 hours. This normally is not a big deal but it caused us to miss our connecting flight from Munich to Bremen. Then our new flight with a later time to Bremen was cancelled 20 minutes prior to boarding with no more flights to this area. The service center helped us redirect another flight to Hamburg, Germany. We had to fly to Vienna and then to Hamburg. We made it to Vienna after a 40 minute delay however, this delay caused us to miss our connecting flight once again. We were placed on an early flight the next morning to Hamburg which was an easy flight. When we got to luggage in Hamburg we noticed our luggage was missing. Supposably still in Munich. We then missed this flight and missed out on valuable time with friends who live in Germany."

Looked for the Lufthansa desk, but there is no such thing. They have farmed out the task of dealing with lost luggage and masses of confused to irate people to another firm. There were approx 40 people trying to get some information from 4 ladies, one of whom was new. They were unable to deal with many reports at a time. How about take a number and we'll call you up in turn? Instead it was like a push and shove pressure cooker just to find out the status of said missing bag and make a report. I was dealt with last. At this time, I was exhausted and angry. The ladies were very good and very kind. They informed my ride of the delay, and told me that the lost bag would come on the next flight. They took me out of the area to get a drink and a bite to eat. We waited. It came. We drove to my destination a few hours away. Never have I had to deal with such a time consuming shambles to find out the bare minimum of information. I finished the trip and will never fly with Lufthansa again."

They sent us to two other airlines, assuming we were flying with a partner airline, then tried to shift the blame onto Kayak. When -- and ONLY when -- we pointed out that we'd actually booked directly through Condor and Kayak had only served as the intermediary, they gave us a direct line to call. Then their agent said "You can't always trust the people at the desk, you know." Oh, really? If I can't trust your own agents, who can I trust, exactly? It turned out that we had an initial flight to Minneapolis, which was NOWHERE on the itinerary, on Sun Country. The Sun Country folks, thankfully, were enormously helpful and we made our flight with 2 minutes to spare. But it doesn't end there. We'd paid for business class all the way, but only got it on the interseas portions of our flights. And they lost our luggage on the way home, to boot. Take home lesson? NEVER FLY WITH CONDOR. I'll walk to Europe before ever booking with them again. And I'll make sure that all my friends and colleagues, all of whom travel extensively, know of our experience."

When I called and asked if they would rebook me the lady on the phone said that she could rebook for a trip that had two layovers from 2pm(Prague time) to 8:30pm(NYC time) for the 24th of November (thanksgiving). When I asked her if there was anything else she said that was the soonest flight she could find. When I checked my self I found and booked a flight for the 23rd. When I called back they refused to give me a refund."

The passenger next to me was such a large man his arms and shoulder came way over into my seat space and I had to sit in an awkward and very uncomfortable position twisting my back for the entire flight. I cannot believe I paid extra to be in this position. My back still hurts from being in that position for 9 hours. I was miserable the entire way. And I paid extra for this discomfort. The big guy was plenty comfortable as he took up my seat space and slept well. Not happy at all with the flight and how Lufthansa crams people into seats."

Eager to exercise her power, the security person did not seem to consider that she slowed down a long line of people waiting to be screened. I should add that I am 73 yrs old grey haired female who has traveled a lot both for pleasure and business during my entire life, often to some difficult places and that I do not argue with or provoke those in power in a situation like this. The yelling and the sending me repeatedly through the scanner, which did not beep once the watch was removed, was beyond anything I had experienced anywhere else. The sending me to the very end of the line seemed outright spiteful. (I did miss the plane connection.)"

Contra: "The flight was about 9 hours delayed and I didn’t feel like anyone was trying to make up for it"
Contra: "flight was over two hours late because of a late incoming plane. That may be for good reason, but we weren't told until less than one hour before takeoff. It doesn't make sense that the airline just found out one hour before takeoff that the flight was two hours behind. We should have been told sooner about the delay, while we had other choices of alternate flights."
Contra: "My connecting flight was delayed by 4 hours due tknsmong in India. I called United ahead of time to tell them I was not able to make my flight and if there was anyway I could get a new ticket. The representative was confident that 40 minutes between my flights at Delhi was enough time to make it despite me reminding her about the time it took to get off the plane, pick up my luggage, get through immigrations and travel to my terminal. She was very wrong. She insisted I call them when I land and that I go to the ticket booth. Little did she know that once I miss my flight my ticket is no longer valid and I was no longer able to enter the airport in India. Once I reached the entrance I was directed to a Untied booth all the way at the end of the terminal and was told to buy a new ticket. There was no United representative at this booth. I waited 3 hours and even called the number posted at the booth. No one picked up and no one came. I had wasted several hours. I ultimately decided to buy a ticket online spending another thousand dollars to get back home when I was told that I would be given a new ticket at the booth by United. But I had to wait another 24 hours outside the airport because I was not allowed in so early prior to my flight. Very unprofessional and unhelpful when I needed it the most."
Pro: "On time"
Contra: "The flight attendants were rude, impatient and generally seemed unhappy to be working on this particular flight."
Pro: "Crew was excellent!"

Contra: "The seating space was cramped. Seats did not decline enough. Seat itself was not comfortable. Back pains after flight. I am not looking forward to the return flight"

Contra: "Seat cushions were old and hard to sit on in excess of an hour. The don't look worn out, but certainly no one is asking. Not very comfortable for a four hour flight."
Pro: "Food and entertainment was good..."
Contra: "Baggage delayed for three days... had a terrible unnecessary painful stay at delhi,india.. claimed for compensation since July 19th, still on pending..."
Pro: "The crew was a little harsh to passengers and rough speaking. 2 of them stood out from the rest."
Contra: "The entertainment screen did not work, After repeatedly asking for an aisle seat - I was asked to pay $200 for a seat selection."

Contra: "Everything was great except a stewardess that was flying on the plane not working got her suitcase then her carryin and her purse and literally was holding up everybody behind me while she was getting it all hooked up. The stewardess that was working when we got to the door said she was sorry she should not of done that. Hook it up when your off the plane I guess. Otherwise it was great."
Pro: "Instead of just giving a cup of the beverage of choice, they gave us the whole can. I liked the snack they handed out much better than the pretzels on the trip out. The wheelchair assistance was wonderful."
Contra: "You ask us to rate the entertainment, but there isn't a n/a box and there really isn't any unless you use an electronic device."
Contra: "Crew remained their usual ignorant, uninterested , back-of-the-plane kitty party groupies"
Pro: "Getting to my destination. Other than that.. it feels like I'm just a sack of meat being herded and potentially lead to slaughter. Nothing elegany, exciting or glamorous about flying these days. Just trying to not get sick, die or break the bank to get to my deatination and do so with dignity. Flying United I felt like I had little to no dignity by the time I arrived at my destination. But, I have to admit, you get what you pay for...."
Contra: "Every single aspect. From checking in to boarding, to in flight to disembarking.. it's not all United's fault. The entire industry really.."
Pro: "The flight attendant in coach was very nice."
Contra: "Seat assignment was last seat on the plane, next to the bathroom... and the luggage return was slow."
Pro: "Direct flight Flight take off and landing timing"
Contra: "Packed like sardines. Way too much Crew unmindful of passenger comfort (attitude) Food was just ok, especially the soggy sandwich snacks"

Contra: "Pay for drink Old farts as crew ..sulky and not helpful"
Contra: "It was a 15.5 hour flight, and food was served 14 hours apart! Could've served the second meal a bit earlier."
Pro: "Boarding was quick and efficient and our delay today was linked to our wait for the plane to be de-iced. Food service however is too long as they split the food first then drinks then desserts which really makes the whole service in three steps much longer and that's not counting the fourth time they come to pick up thrash. Crew however was pleasant."
Pro: "Free entertainment for the 6+ hour flight"
Contra: "Says wifi is available for in flight use except you have to pay $15.99....."

Contra: "Not a fan of the seats. Someone needs to come up with a way to build seats with lumbar support."
Pro: "Quick, painless flight from O'Hare to Austin, that landed much earlier than anticipated. I was renting my car 20 minutes before we were scheduled to land."
Contra: "No entertainment options, even for personal devices on their 737s."
