KLM blamed the fog at Manchester but to be honest most other flights seemed unaffected. Put up in an IBIS hotel and fed substandard food and shitty hotel room with an Aircon unit that clunks into action every 30 seconds keeping me awake. It's external so I can't switch it off. Being given a 10 Euro voucher for food at the airport when most food and a drink will cost you 12 to 15 euros."

Contra: "Per usual, KLM can't seem to figure out the order of boarding the plane. Should be business - priority - everyone else. Instead they do priority first, and that's usually two-thirds of the passengers. Strange choice of in-flight movies; no accounting for taste, I guess."

The plane did get cleaned a little bit in Dar-es-salaam however I was still missing a pillow and blanket which I had to actively seek out. Seating was not very comfortable as there was a box attached to the leg of the seat in front of me, making it necessary to keep my feet at an uncomfortable angle through the long flight. I did not enjoy the food."

With the airport shuttle(CDVAL) to our airport hotel closed, they offered no assistance despite of my request. Simply asked us to take a taxi (when all taxi stands are abandoned at 2AM). Beware if traveling with family."

Bad communication with the client. They told us when I asked several times that we would not lose our connection and that everything was fine and that was not the case. We lost the connection. No one told us anything. Another problem was that the girl in the boarding process removed the suitcases tickets from the boarding pass and did not want to return them, and held it without any cause. Without that tickets we can not claim the bags. The flight staff went looking for us. Pretty sad and disappointed by their service. I understand that they were causes outside the airline but must communicate to the client. They cannot remain silent and say nothing."

How does that happen? The $500 voucher they gave me did not make up for the time I had to fly to Chicago to make another connecting flight to get to Minneapolis. This was my second flight in one weekend as I was flying for an emergency. Both times United switched its gates for the flights last minute so I was scrambling to get to where I needed to go. Never again."

The worst part was even though we bought our seats early, together and picked our seats during purchase were changed at the gate and my wife and I were seated in opposite sides, both in center seats and had to beg our way into sitting together."

Pro: "I know it's some sort of miracle. But there was only 40 people on an airbus. We all had about 3 seats each and we made full beds for ourselves."

Contra: "I Purchased 2 round trip tickets for myself and my son. My son had a change of plans and purchased another one way ticket to leave a week earlier. So his first leg of my purchase was not used. They resold that seat on May 27. So they made money Twice on that seat. Then when we checked in to return on 15 June. We were told his ticket had been cancelled and I had to purchase another ticket for his return. The flight was NOT sold out. My entire row of seats was empty. So I paid for 2 seats for the same flight. This is theft, coming and going and I am calling my lawyer!"
