Second, Turkish Airlines (a wonderful company) must impose hygiene requirements for their passengers. I sat next to a man that had insane body odor and when I let the Flight Attendant know she kindly reseated me... It was great until I saw the poor woman who took my place ALSO asked to be reseated due to the man's smell! Unfortunately, I was reseated in the middle of the row, which apparently is by Boeing design, none of the middle seats recline. Who makes an aircraft that handles long (13 hour) hauls with seats that do not recline and are too narrow for the average adult? It was such a painful and uncomfortable 13 hour flight. To add insult to injury, the plane was delayed and I missed my connection and had to sit in Istanbul airport for almost 8 hours."

Pro: "The flight crew was amazing- very pleasant and hospitable. There was great entertainment available which made the flight go quickly. The food was good. We did not realize we had to select vegetarian ahead of time, but having cheese sandwiches available made that easier. The small bag of toiletries that we were given was a very nice surprise."

I also like that there were diabetic and vegetarian meals offered, although the diabetic meals should ideally focus on lower carbohydrate totals. Fruits and breads can pack just as much sugar as sweets."
Contra: "Starting with the boarding area at LAX, there was some really high pitched siren that kept going off over and over which no one seemed to care to investigate or do anything about. It was very irritating, and seemed to put lots of passengers in a bad mood before the plane even started boarding. Then when they announced boarding was beginning, everyone got up and created massed around creating four chaotic lines. It was a mess. We left 45 min late, which caused us to run to make our connecting flight because the person at the gate never told us it was also going to be leaving late. The plane itself was extremely uncomfortable as well. I'm 5'8" tall and that's mostly torso. I fit easily in the back seat of my buddy's mini Cooper, and I could barely fit in the space without my legs hitting the seat in front of me. That was before the guy in front of me put his seat back and made it so I could barely reach under my seat. Then there was the control panel for my personal video monitor. The panel was located on the armrest in just the right spot where Everytime I put my hand down I accidentally pressed a button to call the flight attendant, or turn the video screen on off, which was really obnoxious when I was trying to sleep and kept accidentally turning on the bright screen which woke me up. The video monitors we're also touch compatible, but the screen was horrible about registering finger presses which led to the lady in the seat behind me smashing the screen as hard as she could repeatedly with her finger, which vibrated all the was through my headrest so I could feel it as if she were trying to get my attention. There was also no air flow above the seats... You simply had to rely on the flight attendant to set a temperature that the whole cabin enjoyed, or you had to suffer silently. Finally, the reading lights on the plane we're so high up that turning one on lit up all the seats around you as well, which meant you had to choose to either sit in the dark and not read, or turn on your light and read quietly while the people around you cursed your name while attempting to get some rest."

The business class was the same seats as coach the only thing is they have nobody sit next to you on a middle seat . That was not a comfortable seat. That was not a business size seat .very uncomfortable . No entertainment I will never fly with Lufthansa to Israel again I'm top of everything One of my surfboards got damaged badly and I have to file a claim in the airport. Very disappointed"

Contra: "We booked our group of four with Lufthansa, paying $300 more than equivalent flights on competing airlines, specifically because our 20 month old daughter fits within Lufthansa's age, height, and weight limits for using the bassinet. We have reserved our tickets and the bassinet over two months in advance, paying $35 extra per seat for these reservations, and even got an email that specifically stated "bassinet confirmed". On the flight, when it came time to install the bassinets, the flight attendant came to us, took a look at our daughter, and said that she will not fit in the bassinet, that she is too tall, and too heavy, and suggested that we should have checked the limits for the bassinet before coming on the flight. When we inquired as to the actual limits, she could not provide any numbers, only said that she could see that our daughter is too big for it. When the family next to us got their bassinet, it became very obvious that our daughter would fit in the bassinet, and we pointed out that she was well below the height and weight limits published on the Lufthansa website. Only then did the flight attendant admit that there were other babies on the flight, and they only had four bassinets on the plane, despite having 11 slots where bassinets could be installed. Our reservation months in advance did not matter - we did not get the bassinet. As compensation, we were offered some Lufthansa miles, or 50 euros for in-flight duty free shopping. However, we lost close to 1000 dollars as a group when we chose to fly Lufthansa rather than a less expensive airline. We were very uncomfortable throughout the flight, having to hold my daughter in my arms for over five hours. We are are still very upset that the crew blatantly lied to us."

Contra: "The lady who checks paperwork for animals at the front desk with Luftansa Airlines was uninformed and didn't know what she was doing as well as unnessarily rude. MY large dog was on this flight and after several employees had looked over my forms for him she came out nowhere and threatened to not allow my dog on board due to faulty and incomplete paperwork! I instantly went into a nervous condition of the sweats and scrambled to prove her wrong. When I asked again what was wrong with my (actually legitame paperwork) she just told me that at this point it didn't matter and that she would allow me to fly even though I was at risk of quarantine aty destination. I wasn't happy about this and asked again why there seemed to be an issue and she was unhelpful, handed me a business card for the USDA and told me that I was lucky to get away with her travel mercies for my dog. I had visited a USDA certified veterinarian and she hadn't given me the opportunity to prove this. I was confused and annoyed and while the other employees could see this about me, they apologized on her behalf. I really wish I had gotten this woman's name and work station so I could follow up with her and inform her on a few things. Other than that I love working with and flying Lufthansa airlines!"

Contra: "My American partner's passport expires 2 months after our return to the US. Unfortunately, the French issued a year ago the following rule: to enter France, the foreign passport must not expire at least 3 months after the return date. British Airways let us fly to London, explaining this to us, how it would be on us if there were problems further down, and that we would have to get our luggage in London. We chose to fly thinking it would be OK, we had listened to an online person who had had the same problem and the French later told him they would have let him in, also I am myself a dual citizen of France and the US, plus I am autistic, an invisible disability (in my case) that makes it impossible for me to travel alone. I usually do not even say it since not much is understood -by those who do not have it- on how to accommodate it However in London BA did not allow my partner to go on. Due to the fact yesterday was Easter Monday, the American consulate in London was closed. We have spent the night in a nearby motel and now, the next day, I am waiting alone back at the airport with our 2 large suitcases while my partner is at the American consulate. We are poor, do not have phone, currency or charger for England, and I do not do well with stress, so it is difficult. Now we cannot easily reach one another. Contra: "They lost my and 5 other persons luggage! British Airways sucks!"

Contra: "Cold coffee."

Pro: "Only one layover in London"
Contra: "Emirates, Etihad flights I thought were a bit newer and better in terms of comfort and entertainment with more charging ports etc"

Pro: "Crew were good , food was ok."
Contra: "Flight delayed again so both flights to USA and return were delayed... not a great experience . Entertainment took a cou0le of hours to sort, they had to keep resetting it"

Pro: "Courteous, helpful and on time. Good price as well."
Contra: "No complaints"

Pro: "The boarding process was smooth."

Contra: "The screen was pretty big but quality pretty bad. Looked like 80s CRT. Also bad selection. Luckily it was a red eye flight."

Contra: "I'm tall and the budget seat was 'tight'. But it was to be expecdted."

Contra: "The seats on the first flight were incredibly uncomfortable. There was no leg room, the aisles were incredibly narrow, and the seats were so close together that my neighbor and I bumped arms throughout the flight, and neither of us are large people. That was our first flight on BA and unfortunately it will probably be our last."

Contra: "Seat too small. No free wifi in the XXI century? !!!"

Pro: "Pleasant check in process. Long layover tags put on our checked bags On time"

Contra: "Wish water had been available For free London to Framkfurt"

Pro: "Across to entertainment helped pass the time"
Contra: "On an 11 + hour flight it's extremely difficult if not impossible to get any sleep when you can barely move your seat back. Try removing some seats ...yes, I know impossible"

Pro: "This flight was for my mother. The wheelchair service was very helpful. The crew were very nice. The food was great. Will fly with BA again."

Contra: "On time and good staff"

Pro: "Pleasant, efficient and knowledgable staff."
Contra: "BA staff at SFO lounge have declared UDI and do not allow Gold Card holders into 1st class lounge"

Pro: "The seates were nice and plush. The journey wasn't bumpy at all, and the pilot was funny. He made a fun comment saying 'he had someplace to be in New York so he will get us there as quickly as possible.' :P The crew was friendly and sweet."
Contra: "There was no food ! I assumed a flight from the west coast to the east coast would atleast provide with some food ! But nada. It bugged me more because I had to catch a another flight from new York to London. Other than that, guess it was pretty okay."

Pro: "First time I enjoy flying , everything was very good"
Contra: "Nothing"

Contra: "Spent $2000 on a flight SFO to London / Toulouse, expected a better seat and experience. Plane was old, seats uncomfortable, food horrible. No snacks available in between two horrible meals."

Pro: "Not too much."
Contra: "No USB chargers or in seat power supply. Couldn't charge phone. Tiny screen with limited entertainment. Archaic system. No recognition of one world Sappire status. Bad food options, chicken or veg only. Very "grey" Englush Breakfast. Dinner food option not as announced. The entire experience was poor. Grumpy crew who seemed flustered and were not paying attention to service."

Pro: "The new A380 seats are absolutely awful."
Contra: "The try tables are small and already falling apart. The seats fell like they're already 20 years old, yet it's a new aircraft."

Pro: "The sound levels were way low resulting in much lower stress on this aircraft. The beast flew extremely well and was amazingly huge. The BA food was the best I had ever had on an airplane, (in economy) and generous, fresh and varied. The flight crew was very professional and the landings and take-offs were for my wife who is very sensitive to such events, very nice. Fantastic assortment of entertainment."
Contra: "There was not enough water available, and I made the mistake of not buying in the terminal. There is no public area to move around in, which I kind of thought there would be for such a huge airplane. The seats and room were even less than other airplanes (in "World Traveler"--economy) which is a drag because I am a bit shy of 6'. The seat in front of me was about 10" from my face during the flight with mine reclined all the way (and the person in front of me) Pretty much impossible to sleep--ugh."

Contra: "Extremely uncomfortable, hardly any room to breath"

Contra: "I kind of miss watching movies on the seat in front of me option instead of just having our own mobile device.. wish the outlet were more reachable and easy to get to."

Contra: "There are hard to reach outlets and no ports to charge a device without a box. Also, no monitors."

Contra: "The boarding process was chaotic and the plane attempted to land once, got about 100 feet from the ground and had to pull up. So we basically landed twice."

Pro: "The check in staff which was the same boarding staff was below average there was 3 agents who very poor, poor in attitude, poor in problem solving, wished at that moment I had booked on another airline."

Contra: "The gate was so far away. And the AC wasn't working in their terminal"

Contra: "no pre-check line or priority access line through security. There's not even advance warning when you buy a ticket that its anything but business as usual at LAX. They are renovating the lounges too so some are closed with no mention on the website. It's really inexcusable to not mention the state of affairs when considering traveling on the airline"

Pro: "The stewards were awesome. Funny kind and attentive"

Pro: "Very good! Very nice and friendly employees!"

Contra: "Travelling with a nine week old: no add on seatbelt (as per QANTAS) for lap sleeping, paid for an extra seat we didn't realize we were buying. The food has not improved in the last decade in contrast to other airlines."

Pro: "It's always a mess. SFO should put more chairs on the main level at international boarding and have people sit up there until their boarding class is called. it's simply too tight at the actual gate to have everyone clamorous to get on the plane"
