So we stood behind the rope on C while everyone else was boarding. I finally jumped to the moving line. I was tired of waiting. The kosher meals were warm, but not hot. There is no reason for this. I have been flying International for over 20 years and I know what is possible. The seats - for a 10 hour flight - were uncomfortable. Either I need more padding on my rear end or you need better seats."

We spend the next 2 hours trying to get boarding pass for the next day's flight and the hotel. Again, no apologies nor explanation were given. Thank you Turkish Airline for wasting 1 day of my life. I will try to avoid this airline in the future."

I was sent from desk to desk and everyone I spoke with said the same thing, "I don't know" , To every singlee question I had. I slept In the airport like a homeless person just to be shuttled around turkey afterwards in search of a hotel, and I say search because the shuttle that was provided went to 2 different hotels before we got to the one I'm in now. I'm disgusted, and afraid I won't even get a flight out of here."

Due to an unfortunate delay on our return flight, our overall day was extended from ~8 hours to 16 hours, and had us flying through the night--very unexpected and tiring. Additionally, although we requested kosher meals well in advance, the delay/cancellation of our flights and rebooking effectively cancelled our kosher meals and there was nothing for us to eat. This was very frustrating."

If I could I would not buy it."

For 20 minutes crew stood around in the airport talking to each other and using their cellphones. Finally the transport bus was loaded only to have the bus driver get out, and talk to another employee while simultaneously using his phone. No information was given for the delay and the plane was boarded at time of departure. This careless and unbothered attitude resulted in a missed connecting flight for my partner and I. We were completely unassisted by crew on the plane and ended up having to wait 24hours for our next flight home. Absolutely disgusted by the service provided from Cluj to Munich. I would seriously consider another airline before booking again with Lufthansa for this route."

We were surprised that we were served a dinner right after we took off, but the hot entree was bad, so we ended up asking the flight attendant bring us more bread so we filled up on that."

They brought us an "unclaimed" vegetarian meal, but it wasn't, it was Asian halal meal with lamb! After I let crew member know wmy husband was served meat instead, she denied it and said "its not possible" as the wrapper says "vegetarian". I informed her it actually said "Asian halal", she the proceeded to say, well, "i am sorry if it's wrong, but I gave you vegetarian". That said crew member collected my husband's plates while I was in the bathroom and came back later with a "vegan" plate that they now have available."
Pro: "Glad to have a sandwich; it tasted good. The caterers use lots of mayonnaise on the cold cuts which can be messy since it was oozing out but I like gooey food rather than dry food so I was happy. Very nice crew."
Contra: "Just odd that I walked a mile thru the airport to make the connection only to board a shuttle bus that went back the same direction for the longest such ride in my life, past parked planes, maintenance areas, fuel storage tanks and finally the cargo plane section where our plane was located. Might be hard on those more impaired than I am to handle the stairs down to the bus loading dock and again up into the plane."
Contra: "We were delayed by complicated connection from Vienna train station to Vienna airport, by the time we arrived, we missed our flight. We called your customer service, and a recording stated that we would get a reply within 48 hrs. We contacted website customer service and it stated that we would get a reply within 48 hrs. We needed immediate assistance from a HUMAN BEING to change our reservation, that was impossible. We were forced to purchase new tickets, the cost was $2,500, we had to stay overnight in a nearby hotel, the cost was $220. We are returning one day later than planned all because we could not reach you."

In the second flight a baby was crying and they did nothing to remediate the situation for those that were around him. In the end I had a very bad flight"

I arrivd to my boat 10hrs late when I was scheduled to take a 1.5hr flight and would have arrived 5 hours early."
Contra: "At the boarding que there was a Lufthansa employee singling out carry on bags for gate check, when they would clearly fit in the overhead. She addressed me and others in a curt and arguably rude tone of voice and mannerisms. No further instruction was given for the gate check process, hence I rolled the small suitcase to the entry of the aircraft, where the Purser asked why I would wish to check the bag. When I recounted the story, he chuckled and said, bring it aboard, there is no reason to check that bag."
Pro: "I liked that Lufthansa was able to get me a flight home on the day planned in spite of the strike. I love Lufthansa's customer service. The flight was excellent. As usual the fight attendants were great. They worked together to get every thing done and make passengers comfortable. I prefer to fly Lufthansa"
Contra: "There were many empty seats in the economy plus section. Once in flight passengers were offered an upgrade but it was still about 300 dollars. I understand that if the price for an upgrade dropped once in flight people would just wait until then to upgrade. However, I think something should be done differently somehow. If economy plus is frequently not full then please consider refiguring your planes to give regular economy just a bit more space, even an inch or two would make it nicer. At the end of our flight the passenger behind me was crying because of pain in her jaw and face. The flight attendants were very attentive, and did all the right things. Except they advised the passenger to see a dentist before her flight home. They should know that sinus pressure, or pain from a sinus infection, can feel like a tooth problem. Just FYI. A suggestion to visit an urgent care center that day would be more appropriate. An urgent care center would be able to take care of sinus problems (she sat behind me for a transatlantic flight I can tell you she had some). An urgent care center would also be able to refer her to another provider as needed."

The time between flights was not enough 55 mins as the gate closed 20 mins before departure and it takes at least 15 minutes from arrival to taxi to the terminal and then get off the plane. I had to change from terminal F to E which was well sign posted but I only made it with 4 minutes to spare"

When the dog rightfully acted defensive trying to protect me, the crew member started threatening me that he would have the dog sent to cargo, the last thing a person with an emotional support pet wants to hear. Extreme lack of professionalism."

Pro: "Premium Economy on AF Boeing 777 on this route is not "a little less than Business", but rather "a little more than Economy". Seats, in a 2-4-2 configuration, are hard but OK, as well as the pitch. Good screens and entertainment."
Contra: "With the main meal, AF serves only "ordinary wine", This looks and tastes cheap. On the same route and class, Vietnam Airlines serves premium wines, a nice touch that would not cost fortunes to AF! Also, the "Asian" choice for the main course did not look and taste like the real thing."

Contra: "The cabin on the 777-200 was far too hot (about 25c) and with no individual air vent I found this unbearable on a 12 hour flight. And despite the flight taking place entirely during daylight hours and leaving at 10:30 am, inexplicably we were made to all pull our blinds down and the lights went off after a couple of hours - in the middle of the day and for about 8 hours! So although I had paid for a window seat there was nothing to see apart from the window shade. As it was the middle of the day I could not go to sleep, the person in front of me reclined fully so for me the flight was a hot, claustropobic, dark hell. An utterly miserable experience. I felt like I was going mad, trapped in my own little cell."

This caused a block to the bathrooms and people waiting long periods and finally just stuffing in all over the place to get passed the carts. Expensive flight for us since we had to buy the same day. While most of the security attendants were great, I did have to wait a very long time to get a pat down I requested rather than go through the scanner (required to be in a separate room) that was 95% the same as the one they were giving everyone after they came through the scanner, with the only difference being a hand and belt line swipe and paperwork. I have had this same procedure done in three airports prior on this trip and all were more aggressive/thorough and did not require a separate room and extreme wait. Though again, all the female staff were great."

No attendant to be found so that problem could be resolved. less than 1.5 hours before the flight time, and after standing in line for 1 agent, I was told I could not be checked in, because I did not have a boarding pass, and I would have to purchase one from a service desk (different airline was providing service). The service agent said the Ryanair ap should have worked, and called them to request a waiver on the charge. They refused. I had to go back to the gate desk in order to check in, and very nearly missed my flight. Never again!"
