It’s simply called Halal otherwise then everyone else’s meals should be called Christian or Jewish meals etc. Also I requested help with transfer to my last flight which was horrendous because I’m one adult with 4 kids ages 1 to 11 and my eldest has sever learning disability. I nearly missed my flight because our flight landed late and I was struggling to keep my kids safe and together while running for the next flight. Somone should have been there to help with transfer."

For 20 minutes crew stood around in the airport talking to each other and using their cellphones. Finally the transport bus was loaded only to have the bus driver get out, and talk to another employee while simultaneously using his phone. No information was given for the delay and the plane was boarded at time of departure. This careless and unbothered attitude resulted in a missed connecting flight for my partner and I. We were completely unassisted by crew on the plane and ended up having to wait 24hours for our next flight home. Absolutely disgusted by the service provided from Cluj to Munich. I would seriously consider another airline before booking again with Lufthansa for this route."

Customer service at our arrival gate was extremely slow. Baggage claim closed before my daughter’s luggage was released and it was lost until the next day. Our connecting flight was booked incorrectly do we had to spend the night in Frankfurt. Our 13 hour flight took 29 hours. The food was awful."

I had plenty of time. As soon as got of the train I got into line to check my luggage. I had boarding pass already. Line to check luggage was huge with 2-3 clerks to check luggage for all US flights. After while I complained that I will miss flight to several clerk who were standing around talking on the phones all the time but answer, if I got one was, sir you will be fine. After one hour I got to security check line which was equally long. I complained again no response. With probably 20 minutes left I cut the line on my one mad as hell. I got at 10:00 am at the gate and some older lady was like " Sorry sir we closed the flight". I said "What do you mean, it is 10 am and flight is at 10:05am??? "Sir we sold your ticket" I couldn't believe her words. Anyway they sent me to Munich to catch flight to LA next day. Best part I HAD TO PAY HOTEL IN MUNICH BECAUSE LUFTHANSA DID WANT TO COVER EXPENSES. I don't know what happened to famous German organizational skills or this is just Lufthansa and her careless employees."

This had a knock on effect of making the plane land late and for me to miss my connection (train) so basically through last minute.com not providing me with the correct details regarding the flight and the flight then being delayed it tripled my whole journey back home."

Contra: "We didn't check in online and were charged almost $300 at the airport. The only time the fee was mentioned was in an email that was sent two days ago. We were already on vacation!!! And the message went directly to the SPAM folder. Ridiculous policy that was not clearly stated. We were held hostage...even though we already paid for our flight, they wouldn't give us a boarding pass without paying this new, unexpected amount of money. Ryan Air was not clear about this policy...we went back and looked at all communication from them. Kayak was not clear either, so we will be looking for a refund!!"
Pro: "The plane itself was good. It left on time."
Contra: "Stood in a long line only to be told that we had to go to a different line. Not marked. Told to print boarding passes which is something a traveler cannot easily do. Not able to do that before leaving the United States."
Pro: "Seats were more spacious then expected."
Contra: "When checking in I noticed me and my boyfriend were "randomly allocated" seats 10 rows apart. When I called and enquiried about this I was told that I would have to pay to move the seats even though there were 4 seats available next to my boyfriends allocated seat. This is ridiculous seeing as it was not a separate booking and there were plenty of seats available! On the way back my boyfriend was charged 50 euros for a bag which the flight attendant deemed as oversized even though on the way there it was perfectly fine. Her reasoning was that it would have to be put under the plane... When walking to the plane we saw that most people were asked to leave their hand luggage on the tarmac to be put "under the plane" without being charged so essentially we were ripped off yet again!"

Contra: "Changed Gates at boarding time, twice. Taxied for almost an hour before take off. I was on an aisle seat and the crew kept bumping into me, somehow even when I leaned the other way."

Contra: "The extra cost for baggage. The flight was late but there was no announcement or explanation. The flight attendants talked over the loud intercom the entire time trying to sell products like perfume. One flight attendant kept bumping into me each time she walked by. The flight felt crowded. The seats are cramped and uncomfortable. I fly a lot and this was my first and probably last time flying ryan air."
Pro: "Stansted check in was fast although queues are long. Benefitted from Fast Track that came with my Stansted Exlress ticket"
Contra: "Seats are uncomfortably upright"
Pro: "Flight sat on the tarmac for two hours before taking off, which turned a 4 hour flight into a 6 hour ordeal with no food or water. A free cup of coffee or bottle of water would have been a nice effort from Ryanair to make up for how far behind schedule they were running. Then the staff spent the entire flight flogging merchandise - drinks, terrible food (even by airline standards), even lottery tickets! Real airlines like Lufthansa and KLM only seem marginally more expensive for travel in Europe, and make air travel infinitely more enjoyable."

Contra: "We didn't check in early online so we were charged $120+(two passengers). We are on vacation with extremely limited and generally useless internet access. Charging is 120+ for checking in is an obsurb and unethical business practice geared toward taking advantage of travellers with limited options. We showed up 2+ hrs early and the checked baggage attendants shows up about an 1 after we got there. The checked bags process is a big mess. We barely made our flight and were charged 120+ for checking in at the desk. Checked bags at one counter, payed at a different counter, the attendants were late, dropped checked bags at a different counter, required to check a bag that we have travelled all over the world with, and then they curbside check other passengers bags of the same size."
Pro: "Nothing. It was all mediocre."
Contra: "You need to serve food or at least water. Airplanes are very dry. It makes you seem like a rip off."
Pro: "The staff on board is very friendly and helpful!"
Contra: "Too many handlagguages of the people, so I needed to check in my bag..... and got it back broken! :-( the service for handling the replacement of broken bags is a kathastrophy!!!!"

Contra: "I paid money to be 1st on/1st off. No one cared, and i was trampled Duty free ?? You have people convinced of that, in a flight from Athens to Thessaloniki?? Honesty?!! Water please: 3 euros, for a bit of water"
Contra: "They send email about check in but if you did not get it for various reasons while traveling (lack of wi-fi access) the day of the flight even though I was there 21/2 hours before I could not get my boarding pass from the agent I was told that I had 15 minutes to check in thru the Internet because I could check in only thru the airport automatic check in system as a result I missed the deadline ( only one station was functioning) and I had to pay 55 additional euros to board the flight another ways "legal highway robbery". Traveler be aware of this airline cheap tickets but they get you in other ways...."
Contra: "The line for security was an hour (really), and the line to get your passport stamped was another hour. The passport line is for them to let you *leave* the country. Worst lines I've seen in years. There's no reason for it, apparently they are just horrendously understaffed and everyone knows about it."
Pro: "I didn't mind any of the things above."
Contra: "One of the crew member was very rude in how he handled a simple situation that could have been communicated simply and politely. That was disappointing."
Contra: "Everything. The way you have everything set up online for luggage and in flight is set up to extort us for money. All I did was pay 150$ for luggage that wasn't that heavy and constant hounding to buy stuff in flight. Never using rush air again."

They were not helpful just confrontational. I am going to be contacting ryanair directly to complain. Very unhappy with the service i received."
