Contra: "Flight was 3 hours delayed due to technical problems. Then it was moved up 40 min without enough time to have someone get back for boarding. Barely made the flight."

Pro: "Service on the DFW-->FRA leg was phenomenal (ratio of attendants to fliers). Food was delicious and seats very comfortable."
Contra: "Boarding process and organization could have been a bit better in communicating access and groups. Not super critical, but the goal in in process is to be as efficient as possible."

Contra: "The temperature on the airplane was uncomfortably warm. Not sure what was up with the AC but I had to change clothes and freshen up once arriving at my layover."

Pro: "The flight was on time. The cabin crew was helpful and very friendly and the food was the best we have recently had on an international flight. The entertainment selection was enormous and spanned the realm of all venues."

Pro: "The food and drink were the only two enjoyable moments of this flight."
Contra: "The crew in Cluj airport could not care less about getting the plane boarded and departed on time. For 20 minutes crew stood around in the airport talking to each other and using their cellphones. Finally the transport bus was loaded only to have the bus driver get out, and talk to another employee while simultaneously using his phone. No information was given for the delay and the plane was boarded at time of departure. This careless and unbothered attitude resulted in a missed connecting flight for my partner and I. We were completely unassisted by crew on the plane and ended up having to wait 24hours for our next flight home. Absolutely disgusted by the service provided from Cluj to Munich. I would seriously consider another airline before booking again with Lufthansa for this route."

Contra: "Had two stop over in Germany so they wont let me board stating need German visa. Requested for rerouting from FRA to USA direct, but lufthansa did nothing to help other than make me stranded had to travel with totally different airliner. Horrible experience with them..."

Pro: "The staff on board the plane was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed the flight! Food was delishious!"
Contra: "The ticket kiosk would not read passports. It was so frustrating to have to continuously try over and over again. With no attendant at the location and a long line, I wasn’t sure how to proceed. There were plenty of people having the same difficulty. It took about 12 minutes to occomplish a minut long job."

Contra: "Business class is a rip off. They are economy class seats. They don't recline. No entertainment whatsoever!! Horrible experience."

Contra: "Missed this flight because my first flight was a cancelled flight, missed intercontinental connecting flight."

Pro: "Professional staff, up to date aircraft, very clean, good meals, good selection of entertainment, very attentive to customers. Passed through many times with beverages. Lufthansa is always a pleasure."

Pro: "The hospitality crew that was at SFO gave us the location of a lounge to go to which closed at 8 pm. The time they gave the location was at 8.25 pm. She was uninformed and not very highly trained. Lounge was disgusting. Messy, crowded - seemed like a 2nd class waiting room in an Indian railway station. The boarding was very poorly managed by the same lady!"

Contra: "The delay in boarding, much of which was due to the fact that the plane wasn't ready for boarding in time because the tech service was delayed. It would seem this was at least in part something within the sphere of factors the airline is able to control. Also, there was an irritating, rumbling noise, sounding almost like an old propeller engine, during much of the plane's ascent. You'd think there would be some maintenance necessary."

Contra: "Guy next to me died. Emergency landing. They refused to hold the gate for my connection in Frankfurt for 15 minutes."

Pro: "Service is good, you actually get food and drinks, thanks for that."
Contra: "The seats in the economy class are too small. Not once did I have someone sitting next to me who could actually fit in his seat. They weren't particularly large people, just average men but their arms were in my space all the time. Also if I drop something, I cannot pick it up, there's no room. For transatlantic flights the seats should be bigger."

Pro: "Cabin attendants were terrific. Very attentive. Ms. Byrne, our cabin attendant and the Purser, a gentleman whose name I didn't note, solved problems and met our needs (including finding my wife's iPad that fell beside her seat while sleeping where it couldn't be retrieved without help)."
Contra: "Few technical issues with new plane...no wi-fi on flight and lights not working in lavatory."

Pro: "The crew was friendly and efficient. The food was okay (special meal ordered)."
Contra: "The plane was filthy. There was crud packed in every crevice. I wouldn't put stocking feet on the floor. There were also pieces of the plane that were cracked or broken off completely. It was a little unnerving."

Contra: "I was denied boarding on the Dublin to Munich leg of my connecting flight from Newark to Munich. My ticket was booked through Lufthansa, but the transatlantic leg of my trip was operated by United. When checking in with United in Newark, I received two boarding passes, one for each leg of the trip. I arrived on time in Dublin for my flight to Munich and tried to board the plane for Munich with the boarding pass I had printed in Newark. After scanning my ticket, the Lufthansa employees at the gate informed me that they had no record of me or my plane ticket in their system. I showed them the email confirmation for my ticket, but they still could not find any record of my ticket in their online system. The employees seemed more concerned with boarding all passengers as quickly as possible than assisting me. After being denied boarding, I had to go back through passport control to change my flight, and ended up getting to Munich nearly 6 hours behind schedule and missed an entire day of vacation. A Lufthansa employee told me that out of every partner in the STAR alliance, United is the ONLY airline they have had this problem with. I find this inexcusable, I will be AVOIDING ANY United/Lufthansa connecting flight from now on."

Pro: "Free refreshments. Funny cabin crew!"
Contra: "There was very confusing and contradictory information on what you can take with you on top of your cabin luggage. e.g. Can you or can you not take a small shoulder bag with you."

Contra: "The offer to travel the next day by giving up the current reservation for a price, making us wait for almost two hours and then telling us that we will be travelling the same day instead of the next day. Initially they requested us to help them as they were over booked with an offer and we informed all our relatives, later with the withdrawal of the offer we had to call everybody again. A whole lot of confusion , discomfort and mental torture."

Pro: "Big airplane and therefore no turbulence. Food was good for airplane food. Boarding was pretty fast considering the number of people. Didn't have problems finding overhead luggage space"
Contra: "Sat next to the bathroom and therefore repeatedly got bumped by people and carts as they passed. The stewardess was polite but had an obvious fake smile pasted on her face. A bit more honest facial expression would have been more comfortable."

Pro: "WiFi, entertainment and USB charging was good."
Contra: "Felt herded like cattle during the boarding process. No children's amenities as advertised. Children's meal was so-so. Adult meals had chocolate included, which children's meal did not have. Seriously?! The snack provided was all inclusive for adults and children and was way too spicy for my 6-year-old."

Pro: "Excellent steward."

Pro: "Lufthansa took great care of my two cats transport abroad. They went overboard in my estimation and along with partner Adria Airways I couldn't be more grateful,and so are the kitties, for the wonderful care. ."

Pro: "Nothing"
Contra: "They cancelled my flight and I spent 7-8 hours on phone trying to resolve."

Pro: "Good entertainment options and nice choice of movies and TV. Complimentary drinks are good and service is frequent."
Contra: "Difficulty with Lufthansa's website made it so that I could only complete check in for one person in our party. When we arrived at the airport and they printed boarding passes, the Lufthansa agent re-assigned seats without asking or telling me and gave us all middle seats. Very poor form. Food was either average or bad, depending on what was served. Boarding is unorganized, with people lining up over an hour prior to boarding and almost completely ignoring their boarding groups."

Contra: "Addis airport is a disaster, Really long queues and badly organised, Our flight left 20 minutes late and in turn made our landing 1 hour later. The flight attendants on Ethiopian air are very lazy, they dont respond to the service button been pushed, and their English is not that good,"

Pro: "I appreciate the taxi, in Munich airport, to my next connection."
Contra: "I disliked the late departure."

Contra: "We booked our group of four with Lufthansa, paying $300 more than equivalent flights on competing airlines, specifically because our 20 month old daughter fits within Lufthansa's age, height, and weight limits for using the bassinet. We have reserved our tickets and the bassinet over two months in advance, paying $35 extra per seat for these reservations, and even got an email that specifically stated "bassinet confirmed". On the flight, when it came time to install the bassinets, the flight attendant came to us, took a look at our daughter, and said that she will not fit in the bassinet, that she is too tall, and too heavy, and suggested that we should have checked the limits for the bassinet before coming on the flight. When we inquired as to the actual limits, she could not provide any numbers, only said that she could see that our daughter is too big for it. When the family next to us got their bassinet, it became very obvious that our daughter would fit in the bassinet, and we pointed out that she was well below the height and weight limits published on the Lufthansa website. Only then did the flight attendant admit that there were other babies on the flight, and they only had four bassinets on the plane, despite having 11 slots where bassinets could be installed. Our reservation months in advance did not matter - we did not get the bassinet. As compensation, we were offered some Lufthansa miles, or 50 euros for in-flight duty free shopping. However, we lost close to 1000 dollars as a group when we chose to fly Lufthansa rather than a less expensive airline. We were very uncomfortable throughout the flight, having to hold my daughter in my arms for over five hours. We are are still very upset that the crew blatantly lied to us."

Contra: "not enough leg room, louder than expected engine noise"

Pro: "No problems at all. Luggage was there a and crew was very polite tried to keep everyone comfortable."

Contra: "However the food was 99% sugar in the form of cookies and other over processed food. The entertainment was so disappointing with no back of the chair screen that if I could give it a 0 rating I would."
