Contra: "The Frankfurt airport is an embarrassment to Germany. Taking buses to your plane, going up and down stairs to depart or board a plane is archaic. Therefore most Lufthansa flights in and out of this main hub are delayed. There should be some rule that meals will not be served to customers who have their seat reclined. The poor person behind them has no comfortable way to eat."

There were no efforts to assist me in locating my connecting flight, to set up any accommodations while at the connecting flight's airport for the additional 4 hours of waiting time, no apologies for making me late for wedding rehearsals (I'm the officiant!). I had to actively seek out the ticket counter for another airline, through which my connecting flight was re-routed."
Pro: "I specifically booked this flight for the 8 hr layover so I could go downtown Munchen. the Plane was 4 hrs late leaving Edinburgh!! what is there to like? nothing."
Contra: "regardless of the late takeoff from Edinburgh, your boarding procedures are like a 3rd world airport. the food was 1/3 of a sandwich. that's food? no entertainment on board of course. why do I pay $500 for such flights? I'll go Ryanair from now on!"
Contra: "This was the coldest flight I ever flew- the temperature was probably in the 50s. For 9 hours when even 3 blankets were not enough to keep us to a decent temperature. Also the crew was very cold and dismissive. They were very aggressive towards two other passengers."

Contra: "The seats were very cramped. A little about my height, I'm 5'2" and had a difficult time with no leg room. I sat by the window which gave me a little more wiggle room but it was not the most comfortable flight. Also a note about being able to get up from the seat to move about. The other person in the row had to get up to allow me in and out and I still had to make sure not to pull on the seat in front of me just trying to get up out of the seat. Thankfully, I only had to get out twice through the whole flight."

Pro: "I've flown on many different airlines since I was 10 years old and hands down this Lufthansa flight was the best and smoothest flight I have ever experienced. First of all, the plane was very comfortable and had good leg room. The flight staff were all extremely courteous and attentive. There was one point where I was reading in the dark and the crew member asked if I wanted the light turned on to read! Normally I don't sleep on flights, and the same crew member asked if I wanted ice cream since I don't feel like sleeping. The crew seemed to have this magic ability to make the flight more comfortable without the passenger having to even think about it, or try to ask for extra service. All of the crew were just very outstanding and organized throughout the entire flight, they were all generally very helpful and kind. By the time I got off the 14 hour flight, I didn't feel even the slightest bit tired or anxious, I was able to spend time with my friends in Budapest upon landing and stay out till 2 am without having to sleep or rest because the flight was so good."

I attempted to check in numerous times, but it was not allowing me to check in. I received a booking confirmation, but never received a confirmation ID that would have allowed me to check in on the flight. I would appreciate if Kayak would have a response to this?"

Contra: "Booked 3 flights all on Ryanair for a trip inside Portugal. The booking agent, Gotogate.com, and Ryanair left me deserted. Some error occurred and I received the same flight booking # for all 3 the flights. I discovered this when trying to retrieve my boarding pass for the second flight. Neither company fixed the problem and I could not board the flight. I ended up having to rent a car and drive to Porto (6 hours away). Neither company have anyone that can assist with these issues on the weekend. The worst experience I could have had on my birthday vacation."

Not with the flu or a broken arm, but a major and serious life threatening illness we are still dealing with. We provided numerous documents as proof of the absolute dire situation and they denied the request over and over again. I get that the tickets were "non-refundable" but at least offer vouchers, credit, or be totally a stand-up company and refund the tickets. It wasn't buyers remorse, trust me, we would have preferred to be in Portugal, rather than sitting in a hospital hoping and praying for his recovery."

Another half hour finally got boarded then and after this was the usual great Ryanair experience."

Contra: "The check-in was long, lots of standing in cramped spaces, and the rep wasn't friendly or helpful. The website was difficult to utilize and app wouldn't download. It doesn't make sense that you must pay 30 euro before you get to the airport and it seems as if you are checking in. But then you find out you have only paid for luggage and not checked-in. Every time I went to website to check-in got diverted back to main check-in page. So, I had to pay 63 euro for them to print. T boarding pass which is absurd! I ended up paying double what I originally paid. I would not fly them again And would recommend that people just pay extra $50 or so for a better quality of airline, seating, customer service, and fees explained up front. These outrageous surprise fees are crazy!"
Contra: "Ryanair is the single worst airline I have experienced in 46 years of flying on more than 80 airlines from many countries. I will not ever fly them again, regardless of cost."
Pro: "I needed a glass of water as soon as I boarded to take some tablets as I was starting to feel unwell. The crew accommodated this immediately and were very pleasent."
Contra: "Why people don't just pay if they want to sit together. It is that way now so go with it rather than main and play chess on the plane, asking people if they will change seats. Sort it out your adults. Surely you can cope for a few hours?"
Contra: "My wife and I was split up and ended up in middle seats of different rows and neither of us had people to either side of us. This is Ryanair trying to get you to pay for guaranteed seating the next time you travel. Ridiculous!!"

Contra: "There was a cabin services director (or whatever his title was) who clearly liked the sound of his own voice. He kept going on and on about how bad the weather was in London and how sunny it was in Portugal. He mentioned rain and snow in London and suggested that people booked a return flight to Portugal in the twenty-five minutes available to them in London after the plane had landed. One joke about the sun versus the rain might have been acceptable but to raise it again ad again just became irritating and an abuse of the PA system. He shouted Halleluja amongst other things when trying to get money out of people for the Ryanair charity. If he wants to be a professional comedian he should change his profession as he was just annoying people and he stopped the flight from being relaxing,"
