The day of the flight our connection flight was delayed we were told someone would escort several of the passengers from Lufthansa to the connection with United no one was there. Several of us ran to where the flight gate was but the plane already left. It turns out other people were also called and turned down United’s offer. So the question is since our flight was purposely overbooked did United take advantage of our situation and just leave and cause all of us great pain and duress with no compensation for all of our inconvenience."

Contra: "The crew on the plane are short with passengers and don't seem to go out of their way to make passengers comfortable. This lack of effort stands out very much in the background of super-uncomfortable seats on Dreamliners. There is relatively much less space available for passengers between rows and between seats themselves. It makes long flights exceptionally painful, especially for people who are not extra small or young. I have gotten to the point that I choose to fly different airlines even if that means a bit more money and an extra stop because I cannot handle 8 or 9 hours on the Dreamliners, especially when the flights are full."

Contra: "Because of loosing our connecting flight in Warsaw (due to weather...I think, it was never explain to us why our first flight had a 3 hour delay), the boarding staff was very helpful finding us a different route. Well the flight from Warsaw to Berlin, operated by LOT was horrible! No snacks no drinks, not even water on a 2hour flight! Shame on you! I had my wedding gown with me and I asked one of the crew members to put it in one of the closets design for this. And in a broken English she told me 'ya there is a problem' and she showed me the closet, it was full with the crew luggage :( We ended up laying the gown on one seat that was empty! When we arrived at our destination and picked up our luggage we noticed that they broke one of the wheels. Overall very ugly experience with LOT!!!"

Plane was Embrair XR that had a whopping 10 rows of economy despite being a 7-8 hour flight over the Atlantic! No wifi, no power and the "entertainment" was an iPad with 10 obscure movies loaded on it. Seating was so limited, and online checkin so poor was stuck with a middle seat. Only positive on this flight was the friendly crew members. False advertising all around otherwise."

Contra: "There was no paper towel in the toilet, the water for the tee was not warm enough to have tee. We have been told to have 10-20 min delay we arrived much later. And the intonation of the speaking stewardess was so annoying that you could not listen to it :( These are minor things but can change the customer experience."

Contra: "They split me and my wife on porpuse to force me to buy the option to choose my seating. The leg space is tiny and the chairs won't recline so it's super uncomfortable. Flight times are shitty. Te leave early in the morning so you can barely get some sleep at night. Nor on the plane. They don't any serve food or even water and let you dry up. You can buy overpriced food and beverage onboard. My purchase from the duty free was stolen and they didn't help me handle the problem. Awful experience."

Pro: "Hats off for the pilots! They did a great job to land the plane during the night on a very-very thick fog. Actually, we were the first plane to land safely in CLJ airport in three consecutive days apart all the other diverted landings to other airports."

I didn't have the code as I was searching emails for the booking agent and airline when it was (as I later discovered) sent by another name. This resulted in £30 to check in going out and 40 euros back. Desk staff were unhelpful bordering on rude (the cabin staff were fine in that respect. I wasn't the only one at least 20 people queuing on the return with the same issue. Additionally on the delay out they advised food could be brought at the rear of the plane then inflight ran out so some people ate twice while by the time I got to my hotel they had stopped serving food and I had not eaten in the airport sorting out the boarding passes."

Never having flown this 'unique' airline before, we did not know the process. After no help from him, I was able to figure out that we did have them as attachments. Never again."

After checking in we scanned our passports using the machines and then we were in what I thought was the boarding area so we relaxed and waited by the screens in a coffee shop. But when our flight gate was announced there was another passport control to get into those gates with a big line which threatened to delay our boarding. There wasn't enough room for everyone to put their bags in the overhead locker which meant there were even more delays and it felt a bit rushed to get off. When we arrived I was queuing down the stairs to get to the queue for passport control which took about 45-60 minutes to get through with no toilets. I was also charged 40 euros per person for not checking in and printing the boarding pass which is my fault, but the charges do seem excessive."

Contra: "i would seem that evey Wiss-Air Flight on the route we were on is always late, stuck on the tarmac in a bus in 30degs with NO aircon is not on."

Contra: "Due to technical issue with plane, passengers were delayed about 15-20 minutes on the tarmac in a crowded, hot shuttle bus with ineffective air conditioning and almost no fresh air coming in."

Pro: "Seats were perfectly adequate, about what you expect on a budget flight. Flight attendants were very pleasant."
Contra: "Boarding involved a long wait standing on the tarmac in the sun."

Pro: "Brand new planes - on board crew was pleasant and the flights were smooth and on time."
Contra: "Ridiculous size restrictions on carry-on. If you can pack your clothes in a wallet, then you should be able to carry on at no cost. Only the smallest of bags will meet the "free" requirement. Website is awful to attempt to online check in. Crazy that they charge for check in at the airport if you cannot get their site to work. Customer service phone call also costs a quid a minute. It's almost as if they are proud that they screw you if you encounter any difficulty or you've made a mistake in the complicated boarding pass emailing procedure."

Pro: "Magazine was pretty good. Staff were smiley and nice."
Contra: "Boarding was announced as last call 5 minutes after the gate was announced. Seats were uncomfortable with little legroom. Even for a value airline."

Contra: "i was surprised by the high extra charge we have been requested to pay for the suitcases. Wizz attracts clients by offering low prices. while in fact the price is much higher than with other companies. price paid for the suitcases, 235 eur, is an additional ticket. unbleivable. and no one tells us that the extra fees might be as high as the ticket itself. personnaly, in future, i shall avoid flying with wizz and i shall never recommend this company to anybody!"

Pro: "Crew was great. Tight on leg room but fine for the price."
Contra: "Rough and scary approach into landing. Pilot had to abort and come around again. I have only had this happen one other time in 30 years of flying."

Pro: "Horrible. Website won't take payment for baggage. Charge over twice as much at airport. Black list this company."

Contra: "I ordered a ticket and got a confirmation email. Unfortunately I could not check in online. I arrived at the airport and found out that I did not have a ticket. This story cost me a lot of money and a lot of time"

Contra: "Hideous seats - seat backs don't decline which, combined with minimal legroom (even in "premium" section"), makes for a very uncomfortable flight."

Contra: "Boarding started before all the passengers of the previous flight were disembarked from the plane, so we had to wait in the tunnel that goes from the gate to the plane. Another very disappointing thing is that you cannot choose your seat, but you are given one randomly from the system."

Contra: "We missed our flight because ryanair had originally put gate A7 when we got there (we arrived about an hour and a half early). And then later, they changed the gate to A9. When we realized what had happened the plane had already boarded (although not yet taxied) and they would not allow us to board. We had to buy another immediate flight and spend 100 euros each unexpectedly. Terrible experience."

Contra: "3 hours delay no assistance 1 hour queue to leave registered luggage, paid separately, among screaming children, hot and nervous people"

Pro: "3 hour delay due to an Italian air traffic control strike. Not the crews fault but they handled it well, especially the captain who spoke to everyone face to face"
Contra: "The selection of food was dismal and expensive, glad ok didn't buy as the quality looked poor"

Contra: "Dirty seats, tables and floor. Both times we checked in and because we didn't pay for early check in we all got separated despite there being room to all sit together or at least in pairs. Had to pay to move to sit together. It costs £80 to bring a suitcase for the hold, however if you don't pay for priority boarding your handluggage gets placed in the hold anyway despite there being more than enough space in overhead lockers. If I had known how much it would be to pay for the 'extras' which area really basic requirements, I would not have booked with Ryanair. Next time I'll be going with another company who actually provide a basic service"

Pro: "Nothing. Worst travel delay of my life. How about brokering a partial refund for the EXTREME inconvenience that ruined the first 24 hours of my vacation and cost me a bunch of extra money as a result?"
Contra: "The flight was supposed to take off at 1555 hours and didn't take off until 0030 after midnight. Crazy!"

Pro: "Awesome!"
Contra: "Need a pocket at the back of the seat!"

Pro: "Accessibility guys in both Bergamo and Manchester were brilliant."
Contra: "Delayed for 2 hours the first hour was on the departure boards - fair enough but almost all of the second hour was on the plane with hardly any information at all."

Contra: "Ground staff rudely asked me to check if my bag fits. I kindly showed them my list (on the phone) of more than 40 recent flights. I travel twice per week for business. They insisted saying that they think the bag is big. It is more than obvious that the bag is a cabin bag as also manifested by the "cabin approved" signpost on it and my easyJet plus card attached to it. The new policy of Ryanair has made staff overly zealous to the point that they are arrogant and rude. I have paid the extra fee for the bag (priority) plus other quirks that they charge you as I was aiming for a stress free trip. I was first in line for better access to space. Still, my obviously cabin approved bag was questioned amd I was made to "try and fit it in" in front of all other passengers as a little kid put on a time out. Repugnant."

Contra: "I miss my transport connections"

Pro: "The price was very cheap as I booked half a year ahead. Flight was on time. Boarding was quick and efficient."
Contra: "Not enough room for legs. You have to pay for everything else except for the flight but this is Ryanair and it's understandable."

Pro: "I liked that we received an alert mail from them several days in advance telling us to check in and pay for our checked luggage. Bags paid for in advance were reasonably priced."
Contra: "Clerk could not print boarding passes at the airport check in counter. Four clerks at check in counter, but only one could check in passengers for our flight. Long, outside walk from the plane to the terminal in Budapest."

Pro: "Nothing except a decent plane."
Contra: "Excessive customer trap charges for checking, priority boarding, and luggage. Felt like cattle heading to slaughter house and paying for privilege of being abused. Late departure and inadequate waiting are. Worst experience in my flying history."

Pro: "That it is over"
Contra: "Extra leg room seats at the front of the plane don't actually have more legroom, and priority boarding is a farce if those without it can board the plane before you"

Contra: "It was very hard to navigate their site but finally succeeded. Then when went to printoarding passes had to pay additional fees for luggage, then additional fees for a seat. Seems a cheap way to fly at first but all their fees add up and it turns out they are much more. When you check in online they don't send your boarding passes to your email which makes it hard to have them printed by the hotel. For NUMEROUS reasons I would NOT fly Ryanair in the future!"

Contra: "Flight left late and arrived late. Very dissapointing."

Pro: "We arrived at airport there were no machines for boarding passes, stood in several lines trying to check in. Could not check in front m home as your site had glitches and every time info. Was put up n the info was changed so rather than have false info. We decided to book at airport .when we got to the desk we could see our intinary on the screen but she wanted qn additinal 500 euro to book us. We had already paid for tickets and baggage fees from our hotel in Venice had once more tried booking the n ,would not accept childrens info. Because they were under 16 so decided to do at airport. She was rude told us we could not board air place. Asked why ans too late need 500 more euros , said no orher flight our problem , sat in airport all day with 2 yound kids me at 83 years old. Had to make other arrangements .found another airline to Madrid, had to cancel car reservations, also further bookings with your airline to Madrid.. we had one from Talous to Madrid. Very disappointed with your service and very costly for us."

Pro: "Nothing"
Contra: "We checked our baggage and they said we our luggage was to heavy charged us 100 extra euros, then told us our carry ones fit till we got to gate and said our daughters luggage was to big for carry on. Told us to pay 50 euros or miss flight. Worker who told us carry on was ok was at gate and said nothing. They let suitcases that were busy through but gouged us 150 euros. People were crying, upset. Worst airline experience ever!!!"

Contra: "Very slow to board, had to walk across tarmac, thin plastic seats that don't recline"

Pro: "Lots of interEuropean routes."
Contra: "Online check-in is mandatory but unless I'd checked online I would not have known and been charged £50 at the airport counter during bag drop. This is an unethical cash machine for Ryanair that penalises travellers who might not be computer literate or online - a big brand turnoff."

Contra: "Make sure to all you need to do is the bag drop at checkin. The lines to see an agent are horrendous."

Contra: "Ryanair wouldn't let me cancel my ticket or get a refund. Sad!"

Pro: "Great price and online arrival"
Contra: "The plane's temperature was not regulated well and boarding ran late."

Pro: "We were lucky enough to get first row so seats were unexpectedly comfy. Cabin crew were kind to us, which is unusual with Ryanair. Time between landing and exiting the airport of Vitoria was about 2minutes, perfectly convenient."
Contra: "There was quite a lot of chaos on every single step of the flight: queue to board was disorganized and split; cabin luggage was moved, stored, removed, restored, and discussed about... In any case, the flight itself was fine."

Pro: "Easy, efficient, comfortable"
Contra: "We were among the first to board and had our luggage stowed above our seats. A couple boarded late and was seated across the aisle from us. The overhead bins were filled and the crew wanted to move my luggage to the middle of the plane--far from me --so that the latecomer could stow a shopping bag. We protested--my luggage was moved to accommodate the latecomer anyway. Is a small thing but I was furious."

Pro: "Get what you pay for and you know up front that this is a point to point journey with no frills. No issues at all. All went smoothly"

Contra: "We had a delayed of more than 6 hours, and they didnt give us in the airport any cupon or something to get some food!!!! More over, they had not report us the reason of the delayed till we were on the plane."

Pro: "i had bought 2 bags one 20 kg and one 15 kg i tried to go boarding with min stuff in hand when she weighted the 2 bags it was 38.5 kg i asked to consider that i had only a laptop bag of 2-3 kg in hand .. i can sure carry the catalogues that are in the check in bags with me .. she refused and said not even a kilo more ... i had to move the cataloghues and carry with me !!!!"

Pro: "on time"

Contra: "The air conditioner must have been broken, since it was spraying super hot air and cold air every half an hour. Boiling or freezing. I ended up ill."

Pro: "Nice staff"
Contra: "If you're big or tall this airline might not be for you. Tight fit all the way round for me and hubby. He's tall and I am stout so we were pretty uncomfortable. Glad flight was an hour. And thank goodness we checked in on line the day prior. That charge at the airport is ridiculous!,,,,,"

Pro: "Fairly quick and efficient service"
Contra: "It was a cramped and dated plane"

Pro: "Good, efficient, cheap flight."
Contra: "I was not aware that you had to check in online, so I had to pay extra money to check in at the airport. Kayak should inform people better off what is required, had I booked through Ryanair direct, they would have emailed me about it."
