Flying Moscow to Delhi via Qatar Airways turned out bad , firstly the flight from Moscow to Doha is full and that's the reason for crew to not serve foods of choice for some passengers on board. Second bigpoint is doha to Delhi is operated via code share by Indigo. In short IndiGo is a shit airline to fly even domestically in India with because the planes are as bad as the service staff. Don't fly qatar India route in code share flights , especially it is codeshared with IndiGo

Great service doesn't make up for the noted disappointments. Spending a $2-3 more on food would have helped, but placing us in a long flight in such a small airbus plane just won't do!"

Flight attendants were excellent.
Please know that even in long flights you will be very hungry! There is no real food served. A “flight fuel” box is offered for $10 but it is nothing of substance. And don’t expect to eat in the airport before your connecting flight because you will likely be sitting on on the tarmac waiting to park and get off the plane for the time you had available to grab food as Delta can’t seem to get their flights coordinated to get you there on time!

Deplaning by row groups due to covid was a joke - we were then crammed into a bus to the Munich intl terminal. Wifi did not work at all on the 9 hr flight.

From USA, San Jose, Ca, to Frankfurt, Germany everything was good (flight on 08/31/2018 - 09/01/2018). They have been very profesional, beganing wih the boarding time untill the arrival in Frankfurt. The flight to Romania was a different story. They haven't been very professional at all. The flight had a delay and nobody said a word. It was just a clerck there who didn't tell to the Lufthansa passengers for a while anything about our delay. So, finally, he said after 15-20 minutes that our fligt will be later, 20 minutes, than the scheduled time on our tickets. They seemed do not care too much about the Romanian passengers."

Pro: "United airlines a319 was quite shakey felt uncomfortable whereas the Lufthansa connection with the a320 was way better only a bit shakey but felt comfortable and enjoyed the flight."

But it took more than 20 minutes while mid way waiting for clearance to leave for the plane. The service bus did not turn on the AC while we waited even though we complained. We were suffocating. There was no entertainment on the plane."

Contra: "austrian and lufthansa have the worst seats in the industry. good for seating for about 30 minutes ONLY. so tough that make the trip feel even longer. a charger is needed in economy (at least one every two seats). wifi has not made it to this long haul flight yet."
Contra: "There was plenty of space, and so I rven had a chance to catch some sleep on the transatlantic flight. But Uktimately, unless you are travelling in luxury, transatlantic flights are awful."

After i got up i requested if i could get some water and they said they cannot. Finally a co passenger gave me her bottle of water. I ended up actually breaking my leg"

I am not sure what happened but food was barely edible: breakfast eggs were like rubber and Lunch was served with a tiny sandwich. For a 10 hour flight it was not even sufficient"
Pro: "6 hours delay, first deplaning due to mechanical failure, 2nd deplaning due to electrical storm. Missed my connection to Asia requiring total new bookings and expense. Never flying AA again."

As people were getting ready to board and waiting in the line, they were told to go back to customer service to register passports and get new boarding passes, without prior announcement. That could have been avoided if they informed us."

Pro: "It would be nice to see AUA learning from other airlines on how to board a plain. To date it is chaotic, unorganized, messy and unnecessarily unfriendly. Interestingly enough it compares well to the non-existing system for lining up at Skilifts in Austria: Use force to squeeze everybody around you or cheat your way in sidewise. Not exactly my cup of tea."

Pro: "The crew worked so hard and were always ready to do more for any problem that arose, be it, mothers with babies, the elderly and infirm, the less than gracious occasional passenger, or younger children. The entertaining things on the individual screens also helped make the long periods of sitting more manageable for young and old."
Contra: "I didn't like how the passengers in general, left the cabin of the plane in such a mess! The crew came through several times for refuse, so I couldn't understand. Leaving pillows and blankets should be the only thing to clear out. Maybe a note on the TV screen could say, "a tidy plane helps flights be on time :-)""
Contra: "While boarding, the AC was off due to a mechanical issue. The plane was uncomfortably hot, but the pilot and flight attendants were appropriately apologetic. The issue was resolved once we took off."
Pro: "The check- in experience was simple and the seat entertainment system was excellent!"
Contra: "Unfortunately, like any economy class seating, wider seats and more recline ability would be nice."
Pro: "The boarding and exiting of the aircraft was smooth and organized. I really do prefer that passengers be strictly monitored when boarding the plane according to their seats. It really does make sense to board the plane from the rear forward. I realize airlines feel like they have to make their business class passengers feel special, but it really doesn't make sense for passengers to be climbing over one another."
Contra: "I left my entertainment at home in a mad rush to depart which is very unusual for me. As a result, I had to rely on Austrian Airlines' copyright licenses, and they were less than satisfactory. Fortunately, I'm flying back with Lufthansa, so I hope there will be more variety there. The lavatory at the back of the plane was filthy by the end of the flight. I don't understand why the flight attendants feel to good to clean the lavatories for their passengers. We are stuck on a flying can for 9-10 hours and deserve to have clean lavatories during that time. At one point, I was thirty and approached the back of the plane. When I entered the rear galley, the ladies looked at me like I was intruding. If self-service is not available for passengers, then flight attendants should be prepared to serve their customers."
Pro: "The service was fine, although I suggest that Austrian Airlines will consult with someone who joj is to train the staff to be more efficient."
