Contra: "Not being connected to a jet (boarding) bridge, despite the aircraft being parked right in front of the terminal, next to one of these connecting bridges. We had to take the bus circle the terminal for what felt like an unnecessary expense-cutting choice made by Wizzair."

Contra: "You must check in few hours before the flight. Checking in at the airport will cost you 35€. Besides that, the boarding took almost 40min and the seats are not comfy at all. That said, i would rather pay extra $50 and fly with normal company."

They completely ignore me and let me stand there and at the end I see the door close in front of me, 2 meter from me and they told me I mised flight."
Contra: "I lost my money and I had to buy new flight with other company. Wizzair crew at budapest was very rude and didn’t take responsibility for the mistake they did. They could just say they are closing the door but nobody did. 2 meters from me and after I passed all security they ignored me completely."

Pro: "Extra legroom seats are a godsend (but that's applicable to any airline, not just Wizzair, although they do seem to have a few more of these than other airlines - low cost or not). Also, despite a 35 min. initial delay, we eventually landed only 15 min. later than the scheduled time."
Contra: "The boarding process at Gatwick was disastrous. There were only 2 agents, none of which spoke proper English. Also, one of them was busy checking each individual carry-on bag with unnecessary extra scrutiny, only to provide customers to the second agent, which was taking the payments for extra bags."

Contra: "My husband was seated in row 2 and I was seated in row 29, even though there were many spare seats in blocks of two and three that we could have been sat in; then I was forced to put my carryon luggage in the hold, meaning I had to wait ages at the baggage reclaim on arrival, and was late for my air BnB check in. When I booked my flight I deliberately chose not to check any luggage, spent time planning what to take so that it would fit in a carryon bag, and measured out my liquids into small bottles so that they passed the liquids restrictions: all effort and time spent in vain due to Wizz Air. I was furious!"

Contra: "I paid priority still wasnt able to board early and had to put my only bag under the seat."

Contra: "I asked upon check in 2 times about my backpack, the representative said its ok 100% to take it on board. At the gate they suddenly say i need to pay now , left me no choice but to pay 60(!) poumd from a small bag!!! The gate representative, Rose is her name, seemed like just a sales person, she didnt even care what i said, and said “ its your fault and tour responsibility “. “Please pay or you wont be able to board” she said. Yes, like a bully, demanded for money, or else.... Worst service i had ever experienced in my 16 years of traveling."

Contra: "The gate number was displayed and all passengers made their way to the gate were we made to wait for about 30min before passport control took place,no information was provided as to what caused the delay;after the passport control we had to wait again for about 15min.The late take off resulted in me narrowly missing my train home"

It's almost as if they are proud that they screw you if you encounter any difficulty or you've made a mistake in the complicated boarding pass emailing procedure."

Then sent a reminder to claim from insurance company. No Ryanair - we will be claiming full amount from you, and encouraged other travellers to do the same. Utter amateurs and fraudsters."

Pro: "Passengers and crew were nice. The basic price is ok, but many people buy "extras" like "privileged" boarding, and seats next to friends/relatives, so not so cheap overall."
Contra: "I don't understand Ryanair policy on random seat assignment. It delays boarding while passengers negotiate on swapping seats. I guess it's just a cynical ploy to extract more money, like the privileged boarding scam. In Palma, the departure board went from Delayed to Boarding without any announcements. The plane was late arriving and the crew blamed the ground staff. The ground staff were certainly slow coming to the plane at Stansted. I wonder if they are disenchanted with Ryanair too. We will actively avoid Ryanair where possible, and advise others to do so."

Announcements from the crew were not understandable, After landing in Stansted, the gate was not ready (due to the ground crew again) and we had to wait 10min before the gate. Luggage took forever."

Pro: "A very average flight, cannot complain. the newer mod seats made so much more room on the plane."
Contra: "When you buy tickets as a collective and check in with plenty of notice; it's an absolute disgrace to charge to sit next to your travelling partner. Ryanair going out of there way again to rinse there customers for every penny."

Contra: "I'm a frequent flyer. This was my first and last flight with Ryanair. It started at the check in desk. The flight cost me 140 euros plus an additional 50 euros because I didn't check in online. I never check in. Ever. For any of my domestic or national flights. Never. after reading my itinerary email it did state to check in online but failed to mention there would be a penalty if not done. What's the point of a ticket agent when they can't give me my purchased ticket? I have to pay you to give me my ticket !!! Ridiculous! Than I get to the gate and I don't have a seat number because the computer said "full" . I get into the plane. It's delayed 2 hours. We are sitting there in our seats and a passenger 2 rows behind me starts screaming because a cockroach flew into her hair (flight attendants did nothing did not Do anything to help her as she was frightened she was about 11 years old). The floors were a mess. Food, wrappers and crumbs all over the floor. Might explain the cockroach. The air was blasting colder than any flight I have ever been on and I fly a lot. Horrible. I wish I never flew with them."

They should be honest from the beginning instead of telling a lot of lies - it may avoid a lot of conflicts between passengers and crew."

Contra: "This is my first flight on Ryanair. The seats are uncomfortable, stuck straight upright and cannot be reclined. Very jammed together seating. The low cost encourages family flying, so there is much more than the usual amount of howling babies--in particular, one directly behind us who howled like a banshee for about a third of the 2 1/2 hour flight. The charge to check a bag was quite high. I was on Ryanair because we were flying with relatives who already had booked this flight. In future I will avoid Ryanair. I'm willing to pay for a modicum of comfort."

Cheap seats with an ad for food purchase plastered on the back seat in front of you. Repeated attempts to sell extras - food, drinks, jewelry, perfume up & down aisles by embarrassed flight attendants Bad service & total disrespect for & misunderstanding of their customer and even their own employees. It's unbelievable. Skip this airline!"
