Quick and easy boarding. Pleasant personnel and easily available food and drink. What’s not to like.
Contra: "Ryanair announced that we could postpone the flights without any cost due to corona virus and when I tried to reach them/to change the flight date the change tax was still there."
Pro: "No issues - everything went smoothly"
Contra: "There are no nets on the back of the seat in front of you to put things like water bottles - headphones, books etc."
Pro: "Helpful, friendly crew"
Pro: "Short flight so not much to expect"
Contra: "We were left sit on the runway after landing waiting for a spot to park up"
Pro: "No Frills Flying at Very Competitive Prices"
Contra: "Cost of Hand/On Board luggage can be the same price as the flight!"
Pro: "Although I had a 40 minutes flight, it was really good. The crew were very amiable and fun. All amazing!"
Pro: "Great experience at Tenerife airport. Fast, efficient check in and through security with ease. Boarding was ok and on time."
Contra: "Plane seats are very uncomfortable. I thought it was just me on the way out but it was as bad on the return and even my husband was complaining of being uncomfortable. The seats made this journey seem much longer than our 9 hour flight to Florida earlier in the year and the backs of my legs still haven’t recovered from yesterday’s flight. I am 5ft 1in and the seats are too high off the floor and too deep for my legs to be comfortable and not have too much pressure in the wrong place. They need foot rests to allow legs to be raised and pressure eased."

Contra: "Bag policy is not clear. We had two guitars so we paid for two bags then i found out there is musical instruments charge which is 50 euro per instrument. It’s a discrimination against musicians. Huge sporting goods fee is cheaper than that. Also there is no phone number to call. I asked about refund at ryan air check in desk and nobody knows what we should do. Ryanair makes it so easy for customers to pay add on fees but they won’t refund you when you pay by mistake. Total non sense."
Contra: "Evidently you have to check in online on your phone 2hrs before departure or else you will be charged 60 EURO to check in at kiosk. They do not tell you this on receipt email. Airport wifi did not work so i had to pay 60 EURO. It was more than the actual ticket. DO NOT USE RYANAIR"
Pro: "Nothing was terrible about the flight. The crew was great. There was a delay b/c of weather, but you can’t blame that on the airlines. But € 3 for a bottle of water. Really. Extra fees to be able to take a carry on bag onboard. Really. The attempt to squeeze every last farthing out of the customer is frankly disgusting."

Contra: "The flight was delayed and even the crew seemed to be getting no information about it. Ryanair did nothing to compensate their passengers for a 2 hour delay."
Contra: "Lateness and the waiting in the area to board with about 6 other flights in a small area with confusing announcements"

Contra: "I did call the Ryanair Airline to confirm my flight 2 weeks before I go to the tours . They told me everything was fine. But when we get to the airport today , they do charged us £180 /4 luggage, we were so mad . I NEVER think about come back to travel with Ryanair Airline and also tell to all my friends and family don't EVER trust Ryanair Airline...!!! Also we're seated separate events the next seat wasn't have nobody... So sad and so mad .... Hopefully the Ryanair Director know about this happening????"

Contra: "It was a half an hour late. My fourth Ryanair flight that was at least a half hour late. I thought they were known for arriving on time."
Contra: "I was charged 62 eu for my carry on. It was about 1in to tall."
Pro: "They play music while boarding"
Contra: "Seats don't recline No complementary water AC barely works They make you line up 1 hour before boarding"
Pro: "The flight left on time"
Pro: "The head of the stewardesses, she was acting as we were on British Airways first class"

Pro: "The Price"
Contra: "Since the moment of the Check in at the Counter. The attendant was extremely UNPOLITE. Insisting that I must have brought a printed boardng pass. I had to explain several times, that I tried to do it on line and even bought a few more things for my ticket, but I could not get a Ticket to print because the system kept on telling me that as the passport was not european I had to go to a Counter. The attendant was not happy with my answer and kept askng for it. I then told him that as a customer of Ryanair I can not manage your system. And he even replied by saying. Qoute " I have nothing to do with Ryanair. Then at the moment of boarding. Once we were let through BP control, then The crew kept us waiting in different stages All in All around 45 mins, which of course lead to delay in flight. Then on board, the crew was having difficulties with the service even to the point that they could not take our payment with an International Credit Card"
Contra: "RyanAir will charge to check in early,but then if you don't check in during a specific window of time, they charge you even more and it has to be done electronically 2 hrs before flight! If they are going to take a punitive approach to the very first interactions with customers, then charge for checked bags at a rate/weight that is also punitive and deviates from competition norms it is unlikely your first-time customers will ever use your airline again. Additionally, the boarding process at Lisbon was ridiculous. All passengers were sent through the gate to an enclosed warehouse with no AC to stand and wait until the plane was ready. Why wouldn't you just wait until the plane was ready?! I will never fly RyanAir again. We spent an additional $190 for two people to check in and check two 33lb bags (1 bag per person)."
Contra: "You really should add the preboading criteria right at time of purchase. Cost $50 per person for boarding passes at airport."
Pro: "Free magazines, easy to bring luggage on board"
Contra: "It was so hot, we were sick. They kept trying to sell perfume! We all had headaches!"
Pro: "Was what I expected."
Contra: "The number of people who choose to keep going up and down the aisles and not sit in their seat. Pay to sit next to your friend if you are that bothered. Made the hostesses job much harder to serve drinks quickly as had to keep moving back and forth to accommodate people walking by"
Pro: "Flight left on time and arrived early."
Contra: "Boarding needs to improve."

Contra: "The airline is dependent on tacking you with extra fees from extra baggage or denying you boarding so that you eventually have to pay more. If you depend on this type of service as an airline they should never be in the business period."
Pro: "Boarding was reasonably slick. Staff were very polite and helpful. Flight was on time."
Contra: "Disembarking was aWful. Flight was packed and the buses from landing site to airport entry were rammed. At least 6 passengers left standing outside the bus for a good 10 minutes with indecisive ground crew pacing, staring and disappearing with no solution until a senior member arrived and squeezed people into the driver's cabin. Seat space is pretty tight. Not the most comfortable. Not a fan of trekking to Stanstead but it was earliest flight so no option but Ryanair"
Pro: "not much"
Contra: "We had a 9:15 am flight, we had bought one 15kg luggage for check in beforehand and we each had our own carry on (group of us 3) given that we had an early flight and it took us over an hour to get to our airport we had very limited time to get through check in and security to board our plane. Upon access to our boarding gate they would not let us in due to the size of 2 of our carry on. We understand it is policy for them to fit into the carry on fitment test in order for it to be free so we were then directed to pay extra for our carry on and have them checked in. By this time it was 8:40am, the person in charge for checking in luggage said it was closed and to let the boarding agents know that we can get through. Although we told them this (lots of going back and forth wasting more time) the boarding agent said it didn't matter and we needed some sort of proof that they said it was ok. We had no idea what to do then since they wouldn't let us check in our carry on nor get through the boarding gate & pretty much getting brushed off whenever we tried to ask if there were any other options. Finally by 8:50 we decided to take out some items and carried them. Through the security line we see a lady with a carry on almost twice the size of ours! Very frustrated with how things were dealt with considering they knew our plane was about to depart, our experience was a complete nightmare & will most likely not be flying with Ryanair again"
Pro: "Price was a lure, but not really when you get all the catches"
Contra: "Literally everything. Flying Ryan air is like flying with a team of used car salesmen. Take any other airline and you'll be better off"
Pro: "I paid for priority boarding only to find out that everyone loads the same bus and makes a mad dash for the airplane to get on. The first 90 people with carry ones get their bags ons so because I was beat by 90+ to get on the plane, I lost my place to put my luggage in the overhead. Why did I pay priority in the first place?"
Contra: "Priority boarding is a scam."
Pro: "Ryanair did a great job preparing guests for departure and keeping passengers updated on gate changes."
Contra: "The airplane had absolutely no temperature regulation and went from way too hot to absolutely freezing for a majority of the trip."
Contra: "Charged us 50 euro per person to check in at the airport. We thought we had checked in online. We clicked on checkin and went through a whole process to pay for a checked bag and to pay for picked seats. Despite that we were still somehow not checked in. They also tried to charge us for a checked bag. At first they could find record of our payment for a checked bag. This all smells like a scam or maybe just shady practice to charge as many fees as possible. Charged for water on the plane, 3 euro."
Pro: "The flight itself was fine."
Contra: "Customer rep at check-in counter was not friendly. Also: 1. Wanted to charge people we were traveling with for printing their boarding pass, when they had their boarding passes on line on their cell phone. 2. Could not just check in luggage at check in counter. Bags were weighed there but then we had to go to a different counter to pay the luggage fees, then return to the check-in counter. Very inconvenient for customers"
