Pro: "We got to Chicago at least 45 minutes before the expected landing time. The dinner was pretty good and the crew came around many times offering drinks. The ground crew did a good job of evaluating luggage and tagging people’s bags before the overhead bins got too full so it didn’t delay our flight."

Lufthansa has no control whatsoever they don’t even care."

Contra: "It looks like Lufthansa has decided to make business class more like "Premium Economy" with lie flat seats. 1) Food was very average with very little selection. 2) Dessert was a joke - other airlines have ice cream sundaes 3) NO HANDICAP BATHROOM. Must be illegal. FAA require Disability access by Disabilities Act. 4) Amenities kit - worst I have seen in all the airlines I have traveled. 5) Snack bar - No selection, just small chocolate, water and orange juice. Even economy planes like Jet Blue have better selection. German people are getting used to mediocrity and I am surprised. World class airline with cheap customer side product. Don't cut costs on things that customers see, touch and eat. To add to that, my mother in law is handicapped. When transferring her to the gate, they took her in a bus and did not strap the wheel chairs next to her chair. All of them fell on her - YES! THEY ALL FELL FROM A HEIGHT ON A HANDICAPPED PERSON WHO HAS ARTHRITIS AND IN PAIN ALL THE TIME. Damaged her knee joints. This is why we travel business class - and they hurt her more than if we took her our selves."

For 20 minutes crew stood around in the airport talking to each other and using their cellphones. Finally the transport bus was loaded only to have the bus driver get out, and talk to another employee while simultaneously using his phone. No information was given for the delay and the plane was boarded at time of departure. This careless and unbothered attitude resulted in a missed connecting flight for my partner and I. We were completely unassisted by crew on the plane and ended up having to wait 24hours for our next flight home. Absolutely disgusted by the service provided from Cluj to Munich. I would seriously consider another airline before booking again with Lufthansa for this route."

Contra: "Lufthansa switched us three times , and then when we got to the airport in toronto it was air Canada. They found our grandparents tickets but not ours. Ridicule our flight was supposed to be only 1h layover, inatead it’s 6 and we are going to miss all our next travel accommodations."

Then, the delivery company (Direct Courier Services) Lufthansa uses was completely inept and unprofessional - every single one of their employees is a complete moron. We didn't end up getting our baggage for two and half days so we were wearing the same clothes that we left Germany with. Then, after being told by Lufthansa customer service to submit receipts for clothes we had to buy, never got reimbursed or even the courtesy of a reply. After flying Lufthansa for over a decade, will never use this airline again. Epic fail."

International gates are usually closer than that. On the flight: 1. The armrests pull up, which is great if you're traveling with family or a significant other. But, in my case, it was an overweight and obese lady, who didn't fit in her seat and just slipped into half of mine. I was stuck with half a seat with her arm bumping mine for a 12-hour flight. I landed with a bruised arm. It was a round trip flight. When I had submitted a complaint, Lufthansa refunded me a 100$, which is nice of them, but I think they should have upgraded me for my return flight instead to make up for the first flight being uncomfortable. 2. I paid for the internet service and was charged double for it. Again, had to submit a complaint and was refunded the money. Check-in: The online system wouldn't allow me to check in online because my passport wasn't biometric."

Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

And the crew was not polite enough so she made fun of my Cary-on. In short, I expected more from KLM which is famous for them being "Royal" but not acting as one of them."

Contra: "They split me and my wife on porpuse to force me to buy the option to choose my seating. The leg space is tiny and the chairs won't recline so it's super uncomfortable. Flight times are shitty. Te leave early in the morning so you can barely get some sleep at night. Nor on the plane. They don't any serve food or even water and let you dry up. You can buy overpriced food and beverage onboard. My purchase from the duty free was stolen and they didn't help me handle the problem. Awful experience."

Check-in was fairly quick and incident-free, despite some of the other passengers reporting problems with the procedures and the staff. Contra: "Bought a ticket two weeks ago to travel to Romania. Didn't have internet to check in, so I went to the airport to check in. When I got there because I was within 3 hours of boarding they had given away my ticket and made me a last priority boarder. I happened to get really lucky otherwise I wouldn't have gotten to fly on a flight I had previously paid for and was on time to."

Pro: "The ground crew in Varna were a thousand times better than Luton. Excellent flight and service...even with an hour delay."
Contra: "Nothing"

Pro: "the flight to and from liverpool was for me flawless easy quick boarding punctual and good plane and journey ....others complain about the baggage charges but if you read the policy and take heed of the rules then you won’t go wrong"

Contra: "Despite long delay, there were no announcements by the staff about the delay until we were already almost 40 minutes past our original departure time. No water or food was distributed to the passengers despite the delay. Delay was not wizzair's fault but there was no customer service to speak off."

Pro: "Flight on time"
Contra: "Needed to pay 50 euros for luggage. Beware that unless you have a kids suitcase you will need to pay for luggage. Also, when boarding the hostess was pushing me to show my boarding pass- it took 30 seconds but she was already trying to push me to the side and let others board. Patience and understanding would have been nice. Seats are the smallest of all the regional carriers - not my first airline choice to travel for next time."

Pro: "professional crew - good flight times and lots of information was a little delayed 20mins but informed of same and no impact really"

They barred me from flight, removed my name from the system so that I can't board because they say that I can't travel with EU residence card with which I travelled to all Schengen countries with other airlines. They lied to me and didn't return my money too."

Contra: "Seating policy - it’s ridiculous to charge passengers to be seated together, even if they’re flying on the same booking. It only leads to on-board seating “trades” and negotiations to get people to agree to swap seats. Embarrassing!"

Contra: "A 5 hour Ryanair flight is a terrible thing... Delayed 35 mins, kept the cabin lights on and sold fags for the whole flight, even though we took off at 8:30pm. They used the seatbelt light to keep people sat down during each trolley service - come on, it there’s turbulence, you don’t serve drinks. Oh and I don’t know why they are allowed to say “Low fares airline” as it clearly isn’t."

Contra: "The selection of food available was poor for vegans Glad I packed my own snacks ir else I would have starved"

Contra: "Unfortunately, I fell asleep the minute the flight took off and I woke up after the plane landed, so I didn’t get to experience anything in-flight. It will be nice if you get onboard WiFi in the future though"

Pro: "They denied the me boarding,I want my money back"

Contra: "Landing was rough. Check in lines were really long."

Pro: "Although I had a 40 minutes flight, it was really good. The crew were very amiable and fun. All amazing!"

Contra: "Hour late departure , which is a frequent event... perhaps due to summer weather. Putting a two year old sitting alone, away from parents and insisting parents should make arrangements with other passengers. Standing outside the plane another fifteen minutes."

Contra: "Plane felt cramps, but it was a low price so to be expected."

Contra: "There check in app did not work and got charged for airport check in. Airport staff was useless and cared less."

Pro: "They were professional and efficient"
Contra: "It was required to check in prior to arrival to airport to avoid a fee. I did not have internet access still I arrived. I had to pay 55 euro for a simple check in. Not fair to folks who do not use data for internet nor WiFi. A email could be sent 72 hours but that does not mean people check all emails or they even have access to the web. It’s not a fair or smart business move, I will not book with them again."

Pro: "Nothing"
Contra: "No staff in Treviso airport to help. There was 5 or 6 flights of people squashed into a small basement area which could barely hold 2 flights of people. It was unbearable crowded conditions with 2 airport staff who didn't reply when asked anything. When we found out flight was severely delayed there was no staff who would receive our claims for our rights under eu261 and got our food ouchers 1hour and 25 minutes late - impeding on our rights"

Contra: "An hour delay"

Pro: "Liked no pressure sales from crew, but was there if you needed them and helpful very pleasant done their job well, would use again but if alternative carrier might consider them due to comments below."
Contra: "Seats uncomfortable due to shiny covering, slide in seats when asleep ended up with bad back during break, just a suggestion being gluten free ( not a lifestyle choice) would suggest this being added to menu might make more sales as lots of us about and makes you feel cared for."

Contra: "As usual with ryan air it's all about the cash. Missed my flight because of lip balm and a baggage check and then when I asked for help. They basically did nothing. I will never fly with you again. Luckily managed to get a B.A flight for £95.00 the same day and Ryan air wanted £413.00"

Pro: "Staff were good - even the cabin crew member who was still training was friendly and professional. Landing was incredibly smooth. The pilot also dealt very well with the turbulence and was able to predict it so the seatbelt sign already came on before any trouble."
Contra: "Even by budget airline standards, Ryanair is mediocre at best. The chairs are uncomfortable for a 4 1/2 hour flight - manageable, maybe, for a shorter journey but not anywhere good enough for that length of time. Boarding took an unusually long time and even priority passengers were stood around waiting to get onboard a good 15 minutes or so after already having gotten into the jetway. Not to mention after landing, we were stood over an hour waiting for baggage because, for some reason, four different flights used the same carousel (and presumably only had one team getting baggage off all four planes) despite there being a second one free which I'm sure they could have easily used. Don't have four planes landing near concurrently if you don't have the facilities to deal with it. Ryanair is cheap, yes, but by the time you have to pay ridiculous amounts for things most other airlines consider normal (for starters, you can't even take a full size hand luggage bag on board without priority boarding), it adds up to being less "budget" than it would have been to fly with a higher end airline like British Airways and you'd have to be an idiot to choose Ryanair over a cheaper, higher quality, airline. Honestly, I have no idea how people choose Ryanair more than once in their lifetime."

Pro: "The pilot was friendly."
Contra: "The comfort was terrible. And moreso for people with back issues. Overall, the comfort affected the whole flight."

Contra: "Automatically being allocated seats apart from each other"

Contra: "if you come on board with babies, put them in the back, not in the middle of the plane. not everyone needs to suffer!!!!"

Pro: "Cheap"
Contra: "Seats don't recline and a bit cramped."

Pro: "Great landing!"
Contra: "Very crowded and little room"

Pro: "Nothing"
Contra: "The airline made us go to the gate where there was no seating, though they knew the flight was an hour late, so we stood for an hour, before being told we had to check carry on bags in the hold, carrying computers,valuables, batteries, and drinks in our hands (not possible). Card payment on board was disabled. Payment in the currency of the departing country was impossible."

Pro: "Price"
Contra: "Uncomfortable, no leg or arm room especially when sat next to people who are too big for their seats!"

Pro: "You get what you pay for."
Contra: "If you haven't printed your boarding pass, be sure that you have enough power on your phone because you will need to present your boarding pass at least 5 times at the Athens airport. Beware, that most phones burn through power while roaming in another country. The boarding area for Ryan air is chaotic and the gate agents are rude."

Pro: "Staff was friendly on plane"
Contra: "Changed gate three times , 1 1/2 hrs late. Not accurate times given when it changed. On ground staff could have done better. System of boarding- all for themself created at least extra 20 min. Should board by rows"

Contra: "The landing very bumpy"

Pro: "Crew was patient and upbeat."
Contra: "Boarding time kept changing. I stood in line from 2:47 until I finally took my seat on the plane at 4:03!! If you are not checking luggage and the plane is full as was the case, you are made to stand in line because only the first 90 carry ons are guaranteed. The heat in the boarding area was unbearable. Then we proceeded to the boarding tunnel where we were made to wait AGAIN in the heat. I felt like a hostage packed into a tin can! Never in 50 years of air travel around the world have I experienced such an inefficient process. I will never fly Ryan Air again."

Pro: "It got me home."
Contra: "Firstly, there were no sandwiches (hot or cold) available on a late afternoon flight, so the remaining food options were poor. Secondly, my £7 Gin and Tonic that I'd hardly touched slid right off the frankly useless trays and into my lap. The flight attendant literally threw me a few paper towels to help. I spent the remaining three hours of the flight soaking wet."

Contra: "You charged me an extra 150 Euro because I did not receive your e mail and could not register on line my flight. I complained at Airport in Greece and no one would assist me. I am writing the NY Times and Washington Post about your strategy to take extra $ from first time flyers of your airline. Shamfull !!!! Contra: "My wife and I was split up and ended up in middle seats of different rows and neither of us had people to either side of us. This is Ryanair trying to get you to pay for guaranteed seating the next time you travel. Ridiculous!!"

Pro: "Polite staff. Flight departed on time. Pleasant flight."
Contra: "My seat/seating area was littered with crisps, this was very obvious to anyone and should have been cleaned up. The seat tray was sticky."

Pro: "The crew were friendly."
Contra: "The bureaucracy over an extra bag that took 7 different conversations to resolve."

Pro: "The plane made it to Las Palmas"
Contra: "8 drunk women shouted and disrupted other's quiet"

Pro: "I can't think of any."
Contra: "Rude gate staff at Otopeni Airport insisting I place my hand luggage in the hold until I informed them I had priority seats. The whole concept of priority boarding goes out the window as boarding was via a bus"
