Contra: "The Star Alliance flights aren't that cheap. Comparable price between Lufthansa, Swiss, SAS and Austrian. Lufthansa gives you food, and has friendly service. SAS gives you coffee and tea. On Austrian and Swiss I didn't get anything. For same price range and same alliance, that is a point I keep in mind. Now I mainly try to get onto Lufthansa flights (or Turkish Airlines which is my favorite). Even on Aegean, I got better food, and the magazine was better, plus there were some monitors to track the flight. Austrian feels cheaper than the others. That is the main point I didn't like."
Pro: "The attendants on Austrian air are all very nice and helpful. You can make any request of them or ask any question and they are happy to help. Great customer service. Arrived on time. Also, very good entertainment options!"
Contra: "The seats are very uncomfortable on Austrian air. The only way I would fly them again would be if I had extra money for the exit rows with more leg room. Food isn't great, but no airline food is really great. Boarding was significantly delayed from what it said on the boarding pass, with no updates. But we arrived on time. Getting luggage after flight at Dulles took a really long time, but I think that is more of an airport issue as getting my luggage from another Austrian airlines flight to another airport was a breeze."

Wish that would have been clear when I purchased the ticket. Also there is no clear info on what the cost is for your bag at what point in the check-in process."

I paid extra money when I reserved the tickets in the USA to make sure I am on the same plane as the other three families that i wanted to be with as a group. They had reserved their tickets and I got the flight numbers and when I reserved my booking I paid extra to be on the same airplane as the rest of the group. My plan worked going to Vienna and to Cairo (although one of the planes were delayed 3 hours which ruined our stay in Vienna) but on the way back from Cairo to LA, I couldn't be with the group because I left 2 hours early and arrived in LA 2 hours late. I pleaded that I came with a group but they said I have a different booking so they couldn't honor keeping me on the same plane as the group. I am very disappointed and will avoid my future travel with Austrian airline"

They themselves said it was new to them and they did not fully grasp how it worked and they did not know why it did not accept me. SOFTWARE PEOPLE BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD."

We had a 4 hour delay and wizz Air provided no help or information at the airport.

When I arrived at the airport they left me to stand by. Did I ask why? They informed me that the fly was oversold. Finally, when they finished the boarding process, they confirmed, that they gave me the boarding to go to Milan. I arrived at the airport two hours in advance and the flight was delayed.

Zborul a avut intarziere la plecare iar cand a aterizat am asteptat sa vina autobuzul sa putem cobori din avion. Totul a fost groaznic decand am plecat din Buc catre Roma si inapoi. Nu ma asteptam sa fie atat de slab serviciile si timpul de asteptare atat de mare cu intarzieri. In plus sunt multe cerinte sa poti zbura: masca FFP2 iar echipajul nu are asa ceva dar noi suntem obligati sa avem, se cere test pcr sau antigen pt cei vaccinati, nu e normal asa ceva. Asta inseamna sa ne faceti pe noi cei vaccinati niste prosti pt ca ne-am vaccinat. Urat din artea voastra. Bani dati aiurea pt ca nu ne-a mai cerut nimeni asa ceva. O abusurditate. Ar trebuii sa ne dati banii inapoi, bani cheltuiti degeaba fiind vaccinati cu buster!!!!! Am fost taxati 40 euro pt 3 check-inuri pt ca nu am facut check in cu 3 ore inainte de zbor deoarece aplicatia nu a mers. Am platit pt ca serviciile voastre nu merg si sunt proaste. Cei care călătoresc alături de oameni cu probleme, viitoare mămici, etc så fie cît se poate de înțelegători și comunicativi! Niciodată nu știi unde te duce viața!

O mică parte din călători ar putea încerca så fie mai ascultători și disciplinați. Nu îi costă nimic și nici nu este imposibil!

Organizare execrabila! Nu a existat niciun fel de distanțare!!!

Pro: "One of the very rare on-time, efficient and smooth flights with Wizzair. Check-in was fairly quick and incident-free, despite some of the other passengers reporting problems with the procedures and the staff. Boarding was quick and the flight actually arrived 10 minutes earlier than scheduled."
Contra: "As usual, the cabin crew is adequately polite, but not overly friendly, the food & beverage range is mediocre and overpriced at best and the entertainment is virtually non-existent."
Pro: "Extra legroom seats are a godsend (but that's applicable to any airline, not just Wizzair, although they do seem to have a few more of these than other airlines - low cost or not). Also, despite a 35 min. initial delay, we eventually landed only 15 min. later than the scheduled time."
Contra: "The boarding process at Gatwick was disastrous. There were only 2 agents, none of which spoke proper English. Also, one of them was busy checking each individual carry-on bag with unnecessary extra scrutiny, only to provide customers to the second agent, which was taking the payments for extra bags."

I didn't have the code as I was searching emails for the booking agent and airline when it was (as I later discovered) sent by another name. This resulted in £30 to check in going out and 40 euros back. Desk staff were unhelpful bordering on rude (the cabin staff were fine in that respect. I wasn't the only one at least 20 people queuing on the return with the same issue. Additionally on the delay out they advised food could be brought at the rear of the plane then inflight ran out so some people ate twice while by the time I got to my hotel they had stopped serving food and I had not eaten in the airport sorting out the boarding passes."
Contra: "Man at the checkin did not have a clue that WIZZAIR flight was delayed at 05/04/2018. I missed meeting with my family. Waited for a long time at boarding gate."

Contra: "Cannot understand management of border control security before boarding. This is done in the corridor on route to gate. Long long queues, then continued to queue before boarding in the waiting/holding room. No toilets once you enter the corridor to go to gate. Unsatisfactory management. Water from air conditioner dripping on me on board from take off. Not an immediate suggestion to move, but agreement to do so on my suggestion and then gentle insistence. Thankfully there was a seat for me! It seemed to be a problem staff were aware of which is concerning that Wizz did not block that seat."

Contra: "The web site is laborious. Checking in was 48hrs prior and frankly you should be able to choose what remaining seats are available as a no cost option. You can choose prior to the 48hrs at cost (i was never given option on a 3rd party site when i booked!) Checking in should be longer than 3 hrs! Because if you book a exec lounge which is air side you lose 1.5 hrs as a minimum in the process of checking in luggage and security checks. Lose .5 hr+ to go to gate and you get 1hr only when you pay for 3 hrs! Where is the sense in that? Its miss-selling at its worst as everyone is complicit. Flight left 20min late for no apparent reason Seats are a bit stone age and hard although only a short flight my ar*e went to sleep before I could"

Contra: "Ryanair announced that we could postpone the flights without any cost due to corona virus and when I tried to reach them/to change the flight date the change tax was still there."

Contra: "- The crew was in a playful attitude, seems like they were not working at all, took their jobs as a joke - no kind of entertainment at all"

Contra: "Checking in online was a nightmare as the site kept freezing, there was a mix up with my priority and cabin baggage, I was told by the webchat team that this had gone through but not on my boarding pass, when I got the the airport the Ryanair staff were extremely rude to us, they sent us to the back of the queue I front of everyone and then told us we would have to pay to take our bags with us, they then had to be out on the hold. When we got back to Birmingham we then had to sit on the plane for around 15 minutes as there was not a slot for us. I spent hours of my 2 day break trying to sort check ins etc, I would never fly with Ryanair again."

Contra: "*the plane was late showing up. *staff in France locked the doors while we were waiting for the late plane, cutting off the only source of fresh air in the terminal *the slam down landing was unpleasant *the crew did not distribute immigration cards causing delay at the terminal as I had to fill it in there while the line grew longer *once we landed, there was no place for the plane to park so we waited *once we docked, there were no stairs available for the plane, so we waited *once in the terminal, they announced delays for the baggage, so we waited."
Pro: "This was the worst boarding process we’ve ever experienced. It wouldn’t take much effort or common sense to bring some order to it. Ridiculous!! Also, as others have said, they really get you on the baggage fees, and push you by email to check in early and charge you for it. We waited until a few days prior to check in for free, but then we were unable to sit together... We did arrive on time and the flight went very smoothly."
Pro: "Legroom was good"
Contra: "They sold perfume and lottery tickets when I needed a cup of water."
Contra: "Issues getting checked in. Multiple lines which we were ushered from and to only to be told to go back to self check kiosk. By the time we get to self check kiosk for the 2nd time our gate is closed and we’ve missed our flight. Not sure why the person at the check in counter couldn’t check our bags for us and get us moving through security??? No offer of any reimbursement and additionall cost for new flight later in the day at more than twice the cost of the flight we missed. Lack of clear direction or any semblance of customer service. I guess you get what you pay for..."
Pro: "Comfortable seats and cabin for a short flight and friendly crew"
Contra: "The Lithuanian crew team was far too casual. Service as well. Informal."
Pro: "Cheap ticket"
Contra: "Delayed an hour, have to pay for any seat now, regardless of when you check in. Boarding was horribly slow and inefficient. Absolutely rubbish and I never want to fly with them again."
Pro: "Arrived early, a bit confused as to why our bags had to go in the hold but they arrived in a very timely fashion and although the 3 of us were separated, I was in a fire exit seat and my long legged son also had extra leg room at the front. Bonus!"
Contra: "I wish the seats could recline just a little. I can't read without feeling sick so a 3 hour flight can be pretty uncomfortable."
Pro: "I don’t need anything fancy for a short flight. Low cost, safe travel is the primary goal, and that’s what we got. The ratings chart doesn’t allow you to choose N/A but there was no food or entertainment for me to rate anything, and for such a short flight, it wasn’t needed anyway."
Contra: "Baggage fees are too high. €40 for one bag, each way? Too much. €20 each way is more reasonable, in my opinion, especially when standard international carry-on bags are not allowed. So for one bag for a family of four, we had to pay €80 and still had to buy a carry-on bag that was small enough to be allowed, other than taking the kids’ school backpacks. Please reduce the cost of luggage if you need to maintain the much smaller carry-on bag size. Also, passengers should be directed to keep their carry-on above their own seat, and not fill the front overhead compartments if their seats are in the back. It causes a lot of confusion at time of boarding and de-planing. Some elderly travelers were unable to manage their luggage, let alone go against traffic in the aisle to find overhead space in the back when they likely paid more to have their seata in the front. Not fair at all to pay more for front seats but not have the benefits of those seats. Also, I used the online chat tool before the flight to understand the baggage fees. The representative on the chat was particularly rude. Not good customer service. I figured out what I need to know so that’s the most important thing, but there was no reason for his nastiness."
Pro: "Nothing"
Contra: "1. Flight expensive....and ontop you pay 40€ for 20kg 2. Flight was at 13:35, when booking online, it says u can check in online 2 hrs before flight. If u dont you pay 50€ fee to checkin at airport ( absolutely rediculous to start with!!!!!) However, i tried to checkin online at 09:40 and payed for my suitcase, once i payed for my case, not only it didnt send me confirmation of payment or receipt, it asked for my passport details and date of birth which i entered... and then it told me the flight has already departed and wouldnt let me checkin. after 4 attempts trying.... my father called ryanair to ask for advise on what to do with this situation, and was told that we can checkin at the airport. We go to Pafos airport, where staff of ryanair at checkin were extremely rude.... and after explaining the situation... told us we must pay €50 to check in and get on my flight... told us to go to the other side of the airport to pay. We tried to explain the situation to another extreeeemely rude member of staff called Evi... who says she needs proof that i couldnt check in... so i showed her the emails i had received from ryanair.... and she said she could see it on her screen that i was in the ryanair site... but said she needed a print screen to prove it.... how pathetic!!! Then when questioning why emails from ryanair were not sufficient proof she said she is just doing her job and she doesnt care because she doesnt work for ryanair. Ironicaly told us to pay and have a nice day. We paid. And will make a huge complaint... and advertise how pathetic this airline is... not only the rules, they even ignore their own rules, as they have the rudest staff both ground and on board im sure they need the extra money to understandably employ better staff or maybe get better planes... or hopefully follow monarch so bad airlines get out and leave the good ones to do their job professionally. The way they service ob is another story. Staff look exhausted... unmotivated and very unhappy. I work for the crewing dept of an international shipping company... where we arrange travel for officers and crew hourly 24/7 , 365 days a year.....and will make sure that under no circumstances do we use ryanair as it will reflect badly on our company. I paid €250.00 for the ticket + €40.00 20kg + €50.00 because they wouldnt let me check in. = €340.00 €340.00 i could have gone with a better airline... had a happier flight.... not feel ripped off...and not been spoken to so rudely. I never complain. But this experience was continuously awful. And i will make sure this is expressed world wide. Cheating people is unacceptable. If i was late to try check in, or i did something wrong, or i was rude, or if the flight cost was rediculously low. i would understand.. but i paid good money for a ticket, too much money for a 14kg bag and ontop extra for the fault of the airlines webpage & acepted attitude!!Lesson learned!! For sure they will lose alot more than 1 customer!!!!"
Pro: "Flight landed 15 min early which was great but that's only because a lot of people have been complaining about their delays so they had to make it up in some way. I had to pay $50 for my luggage bc Ryanair believes that when you fly you should be empty handed. Smart crew we got going..."
Pro: "I was very disappointed with checking in because I wasn't informed about checking in online. I had to pay an additional €150 and it's sad that you have to find ways to make extra money on us passenger's. Your rates are low but the extra fees cost more than the airfare. then when were ready to board they said my carry on was too big, which it was not and the stewardess wanted to charge us extra fee but when she realizes that it wasn't too big she still wanted to take our luggage because there was no room on the plane. In fact we got on the plane and there was plenty of room for our carry on I am hoping that Ryanair will do the right thing and reimburse us the extra 150 we were charged for not doing the online check-in that once again I was not aware of because I never received an email or a text as she stated I should have received. This is NOT right how you have low rates then we are forced to pay all the extras."
Contra: "I don't like how Ryanair charges a low fee but then adds all these extra fees because you didn't check-in on LINE etc. Snack or beverage was never offered and your hostess were NOT at all friendly."
Pro: "Very good price for flight. Dont need to pay foe seats if you dont want to and can avoid baggage fees with carryon. Staff very friendly. Short and sweet flight."
Contra: "Asked for boarding pass again at plane door after we had gone through the gate check. Unnecessary step that slowed the boarding process at the plane staircase."
Pro: "all within norms"
Pro: "Staff were nice and friendly"
Contra: "No hot drinks available Having to take a bus to board the plane in hot weather, with two small children (a 2-year-old and 4-year-old) who I also had to ensure were safe on the bus and had something to hold on to."
Contra: "Got to my seat on the plane and it was covered with potato chip crumbs left behind by the previous flight's passengers and obviously not cleaned. Got harassed and threatened by the gate attendant while boarding because I didn't have a Visa check stamp on my boarding pass even though I had visited check-in and was not given one."
Contra: "There was no window! Weird."
Contra: "My American friend and myself were flying Rome to Palermo. The boarding line was chaotic without any sense of order. The attendant had my friend and I make sure our baggage fit into their container, along with others. An Italian man who's bag was clearly wider, was let through free of charge. They asked my friend if she was Italian and when she responded in English they said she needed to pay the 55 Euro fee. The only other people who paid besides my friend and I was a family of four from England even though it was clear that other larger bags were let in. Save your frustrations and pay extra for a more professional flight!"
Contra: "You charged us for 4 bags, not 2. When we spoke On line your rep said that it was not refundable. We only had 2 bags and will definitely dispute this charge with our credit card company. Also, check-in online is very difficult- as is getting the boarding passes. Finally, we did not BUY and, I think out is spite, you put us 30 seats apart I know this is an economy airline-but we had NONE of these problems with WIZZ airline. 2 people should be able to sit together without paying an extra money. Your extra charges are really ridiculous."
Contra: "30mins delay"
Pro: "The plane landed safely, but a bit rough."
Contra: "Paid €80 for 2 bags, then the agent told me that I could have saved over 50% if I had prepaid. It would have been nice to know that. The seats were incredibly cramped, even though I am not tall. The plane sat on the runway for about 40 minutes."
Pro: "The crew was friendly and helpful. I like that food was offered, even though I was on a fairly brief flight."
Contra: "Many passengers had to check carry-on luggage just before boarding because there was not enough space. Also, the space inside the plane is the smallest I have seen. Getting in and out of your seat during the flight is very difficult and awkward,"
Pro: "Mostly the price. I hated the way we boarded, it was freezing cold and we had to walk outside to get a smoky bus."
Pro: "The briefness of the flight"
Contra: "The plane smelled a bit musty and of urine- almost like that of an old folks home. The crew wasn't that pleasant either. Glad it was a short flight."
Pro: "Seemed organised"
Pro: "Quick easy boarding."
Contra: "2 Bachelourette parties were on the flight, they boarded already drunk. Singly loudly and shouting profanities across the plane. The cabin crew did nothing to discourage this and started selling them more alcohol. The 50 minute flight was spent trying to block out the screaming and shouting from these two groups."
Contra: "Terrible service"
Pro: "Nothing, however flight was on time"
Contra: "Bad seats that don't recline. Even less legroom than normal."
