Passengers were very unruly, getting up out if their seats and rummaging in overhead bins nearly the minute the plane took off and the cabin crew just ignored it. Also the deplaning was similarly disorganized with people shoving their way through to get off faster. Very unpleasant experience.

The flight to Romania was a different story. They haven't been very professional at all. The flight had a delay and nobody said a word. It was just a clerck there who didn't tell to the Lufthansa passengers for a while anything about our delay. So, finally, he said after 15-20 minutes that our fligt will be later, 20 minutes, than the scheduled time on our tickets. They seemed do not care too much about the Romanian passengers."

At that time, we had already checked in and received our boarding passes, as well as checking in 3 bags while we were traveling with a large group. There was no way we wanted to volunteer our seats, especially since we had a transfer flight to catch. We clearly stated we did NOT want to volunteer our seats at the ticket counter. No staff notified us until we were about to get on the plane to board. The flight supervisor was very rude and unprofessional, offering us no alternative solutions. I was really disappointed with such a grievous mistake by the airline, and I would not recommend flying Austrian Airlines unless it was absolutely the only airline available. They need to fix their processes for authorizing when they volunteer a passenger's seat. This caused our group a lot of stress and almost became a logistical nightmare."

I had to let her know I had not asked before and then she proceeded to tell me the different drinks and finally added: My colleague will take care of you. She did not want to serve me. The first incident went I tried to use the bathroom in the back of the plane, she would tell people: "don"t use that one, I need that bathroom for......." ( not sure for what but her tone was so rude,that people walked to the other bathroom embarrassed). All I can say is that everything else was great, including the friendliness of all other crew, but that one ruined the experience. A third time I got up to walk to the bathroom and the seatbelt sign was on, but so it had been for a long time. She prompted me to go back to my seat. All others seem to do their job without been rude, Not sure why this one couldn't. Job stress? Not the passenger's problem. Besides that and the poor movie choices, everything else was great. I think the flight was delayed but to that point everything was going so smooth, I didn't even notice. I will fly Austrian again, and would love to visit Vienna. Please advise how to add the miles of my trip to my account. I booked in Kayak, left to Ohio from Miami running from hurricane Irma, my return from Ohio to Miami was cancelled and I had to embark on that long plan10 day trip without even returning home to Miami to pack. I totally forgot about putting the miles on my account on either ticket counter."

Contra: "I bought tickets for LOT Polish Airlines and we travelled with Blue Air. Romanian low cost airline (share code). Will never ever fly with LOT."
Contra: "Late boarding and terrible boarding process with no proper announcements or procedures. Everyone just piling up at gate like cattle. Couldn't bother seating us together even though we booked under same ticket. Super cramped seats. Broken entertainment system on 787. Not very friendly crew."
Pro: "Comfort of plane"
Contra: "Delay for no reason and extra 4 hour layover in warsaw"

Contra: "NYC to Warsaw, the flight was 4 hours late no voucher for food. some got it some not. i lost the flight from Warsaw to Bucharest they put me on flight from Warsaw to Vienna that flight was late as well i got to Vienna and i ran to get the flight to Bucharest. i was very tired"
Contra: "The flight was delayed two hours and I missed my next flight because of that"
Pro: "Airport was small and quick to get through."
Contra: "BROKEN LIGHT! I wish I had some tape or even a bandaid to block that annoying light- did not sleep at all"
Pro: "I love the service"
Contra: "Food, service, and everyrhing. That was great experiance with LOT. Love it"

Contra: "LOT runs on very outdated IT systems and as a consequence often ends up losing your reservation. This has happened to us again. To fix it we have no navigate a series of different agents all of whom had the attitude you'd expect from an ex-communist airline. Pity because onboard staff and planes are ok. Overall proceed with caution."
Airplane arrived late at the gate. Staff was not prepared to board a passenger with disabilities. Boarding was long. Crew member treated without respect a passenger that was worried about missing a connection. It took longer than expected ro get a gate at the airport.
Flight delayed by four hours
Small seats means other passengers thoughtlessly take up your space. At least it’s a short flight.
Pro: "Seats were comfy. Crew outside was helpful, i suggest AC have some men to lift suitcases from scale to belt and not have these women who r checking ppl in have to struggle to life suitcases frim scale ti belt-why aren’t men there to assist? AC need to provide some assistance in this regard. in-fight crew was plain and ordinary, nothing to write home about. Not friendly, just do what “we are here to do” period!"
Contra: "I have given reviews on so many occasions to improve the airline but nothing got better"
Pro: "Staff mixed Qatari and Canadian, did their best"
Contra: "With a sore arm, it was an impossible task to find a cozy position without shap metallic angles protruding."
Pro: "I lost my phone in the taxi and Javier offered his cellphone and spoke to the taxi driver to get it returned to me (I didn’t speak Spanish) before my flight."
Contra: "Flight was delayed. On board, the seats were too small as per usual with Air Canada’s seating configuration. They tend to pack the cabin with as many passengers with little room."
Pro: "We didn’t crash."
Contra: "Continue not to crash. Thank you."

Contra: "I have flown Air Canada many times, and have never taken off on time. Most flights I have been on, were 30 -60 minutes late. Cabin service is usually minimal, lackadaisical, and indifferent. I would only fly Air Canada again as a last resort"

Contra: "That we were waiting to take off and the explanation of the technical delay was not too clear and forthcoming"

Contra: "Person sitting next to me brought on four bags and over head bins were full. This merged into my space which is too small to begin with. Boarding should control how much is brought into plane. Need more space. Airline travel is no longer fun. I wish the air line CEOs would ride in economy every once in a while."
Pro: "Many airlines have code share flights but it is better to buy ticket directly from the original airline as they keep on ignoring the code share flight bookings"
Contra: "Till last moment we were kept hanging if we will board or not as no seat number was allocated. I believe it was as we were from the code share airline not the real one"
Pro: "The tvs are awesome! They are new and have touchscreens that are actually well designed and can scroll etc. Resolution and sound are great, so I actually feel like I watched my movie and didn't just look at moving blurs with half the dialogue missing. Also the USB ports are great. And the brownie with the meal was delicious."
Contra: "Only one meal on a >9 hour flight, plus one snack which was an uninspiring-looking rectangle of cold pumpkin loaf (it tasted good, but after 7.5 hours in the air it'd be nice to get something more appealing). Other airlines give two meals. It's ridiculous that Air Canada insists on being so stingy with the food."
Pro: "Flight Attendants were courteous and friendly."
Contra: "Plane was small, seats not very comfortable, entertainment system was down. After traveling 24 hours it was not pleasant. Additionally, coming from Vancouver on a late arrival, no one helped expedite me to the flight. I had to leave International, clear immigration and Customs, then enter immigration and US Customs. When I told anyone I was possibly missing my next flight it was met with a shrug, as if it was just my problem. Not a good way to treat customers."
Pro: "Our flight was cancelled. Rebooked for two days later, causing us to miss our cruise to Alaska! Never again with Air Canada.So disappointed in missing this trip we had planned for a long time."
Contra: "No help in getting us to our cruise on time."
Contra: "I did not fly to Montreal and I did not catch flight to Barcelona I am fling again tonight Toronto - Barcelona direct"
Pro: "For me this flight was great, I had a direct flight that otherwise.would have made me want to reconsider"
Contra: "Everything is extra, wifi is on the flight but it's a pay service, food, snacks, drinks all extra."
Contra: "Crew wasn't helpful and attentive, boarding staff in Toronto were blatantly rude to me, I watched as my luggage got handled aggressively, the plane was dirty with old food crumbs and such, my flight to Windsor got cancelled and accomadations were not met sufficiently."
Contra: "Poor boarding by zone number which all customers just block the lineup old plane outbound"
Contra: "We did not make this flight due to the first flight being over an hour late. This caused us to miss our connection to St. Louis. While they rerouted others on the flight, they did not reroute us because we didn't check any luggage! Their reasoning was we had a chance to make the connection. But they made us wait in a line for 10 minutes to be told that despite our requests to go to the gate. By then it was too late. We then had to fly stand by to Chicago and stand by again to get to St. Louis."
Pro: "The 787 aircraft. What a beautiful plane"
Contra: "Calgary airport. NEVER AGAIN!"

Contra: "Boarding was bad in Zurich, unorganized. Need improvement"
Pro: "nothing particularly spectacular. The entertainment on the place is much better than most (since most don't have it) for such short flights."
Contra: "The place was delayed for over an hour for a 'maintenance issue' - what I dislike is lack of information being shared from the plane to people at the gate. Also when we are delayed for the airlines fault - customers should be given something - anything - a small voucher, or even a drink ect., this is not a weather issue. I think airlines have too much power making most terrible at customer service - air Canada is one of the worst ones."
Contra: "My luggage had not being delivered yet. Somebody decided not to located it to my conexion with COPA in Los Angeles. I am wondering if I could have access to my stuff before going back home in Vancouver. My family is waiting here for the gifts that I bought for them. I am feeling really embarrased with this situation."
Contra: "It was cancelled."
Pro: "I honestly can't think of anything I liked, other than the plane arriving and leaving on time."
Contra: "The in flight entertainment is a joke, it's a 14 hour flight so why are there only 3 episodes of any tv show? The food was inedible, and beverages were limited to 3 choices coffee, water or juice. I was trying to sleep on the plane but every time a flight attendant would walk past me they would run into me (and I was very much within my seat) and wake me up. They also woke me up to ask if I wanted food twice. The seats were so uncomfortable. I'm an able bodied 20 something and if I am in this much physical pain from flying I can't imagine what an elderly person must feel like after flying Air Canada. The pillow that was provided gave me no comfort what so ever, it wasn't think enough to even offer some back support."
Pro: "Flight attendant's were friendly amid the circumstances."
Contra: "Our first flight was cancelled 15 minutes before scheduled take-off. upon being bumped to another flight two hours later, that flight was delayed two hours after an issue during take-off. We remained on the plane while mechanic/engineering staff rectified the problem. We booked a flight to save time on driving. We would have arrived earlier had we drove. I understand things happen, but the airline eneds to take responsibility and show some good customer service. Aside from the pilot, no apology given, no reimbursement offered. Disappinting. Air Canada is now a last-resort option for a frequent flyer like myself."
Pro: "The seating is too squished.If you have long legs, their toast"

Contra: "It bothers me a little we have to pay for snacks on the plane. Meals and alcohol I understand. I also miss TVs. I had one flight on my way to Florida where I could watch movies. Need more of that."
Pro: "I liked the fact that the seats had plenty of leg room as I am tall and hate having my knees hitting the seat in front of me."
Contra: "Flying from US to Canada was a challenge because of all the customs requirements. But,. better safe than sorry . This four hour flight did not even offer pretzels"
Contra: "Too much late. I missed all my itenerary planned by Campus France. I had to pay for a taxi and a new train ticket."

Contra: "First the plane had a delay for an hour, then additional two more hours of delay because we had to wait for another plane with passengers had to connect to the flight. Once we were boarded, we waited another hour for more passengers with luggage issues. After the plane took off, I was happy that the crews continued to offer us water, then I found out that there was no meal plan for the flight. I was hungry after all the unexpected wait plus the 4.5 hours flight to Chicago. I feel that the airline could offer passengers a meal after all the unexpected delays."
Pro: "good entertainment but otherwise average or less"
Contra: "first flight cancelled, second flight delayed so impossible to get the connection. Nobody called me about it, I had to go to ask."
