There was an aircraft change (which caused an uncomfortable flight) in the last hour and was not given an option in advance to switch flights.
My luggage was delayed because the flight arrived late and I almost missed my connecting flight to Atlanta. My luggage was delayed and it took 3 days to receive my luggage once it arrived in Atlanta. The baggage department is horrendous and non-existent. I did not get a call, I had to go to the Airport and wait for manager to board a flight, waited 3 hours and then they got my luggage for me. I understand staffing issues but there should be a better process for baggage services.
Flight was delayed at IAD Washington. Passengers were anxious as there was delay announcing about it.

My flight was on 10th May 2018 from Islamabad to Doha to Chicago but neither my online booking site ( Kayak ) not Qatar Airways sent any notification that my Boarding was changed from Banzir International Airport to the newer, bigger airport. Consequently , on the day of flight, I went to check in and board from the Bnazir International Airport but upon reaching the airport I was told that the airport was no more in operation. I was surprised to hear that all flights were to be from the newer airport. By the time I rerouted my taxi to the new airport I was already late for my flight but fortunately the flight from Islamabad to Doha, Qatar was delayed and I made it to the boarding time and flew to Doha , Qatar and then to Chicago."

Contra: "On a 16 hour journey, we only had 2 meals and no snacks. I usually fly Lufthansa. They provide 2 meals and a third snack (usually a pizza) and keep additional snacks and drinks fully stocked in the back of the plane. None of that existed on this flight. The crew was very uninterested. Seemed very absent and not into assisting patrons. Overall, not what I have experienced on prior Qatar Airways flights. To add insult to injury, I was sitting next to an EXTREMELY smelly person, which didn't make the experience any easier :( Not the airlines responsibility to ensure patrons exercise proper hygiene, but that didn't help the situation with my hungry growling stomach."

Way back flight changed and no accomodation made (a lounge, room, anything) for 7.5 hour layover "you'll just have to hang in there" in middle of night even though others on my tour with same issue in dubai got a room included. With added stress of going through qatar which i booked because of longer layover so wouldnt miss connection just before political decree announced, i will do anything to avoid qatar again despite the very friendly crew. And having to wrap my camera equipment to check it, get extra insurance, such a pain."

They had an emergency landing in The Azores, after turbulence and several passengers got injured, when the pilot failed to warn passengers to put on their seat belts and they flew into the air, hitting the ceiling before falling down. One passenger had a heart attack. Once they de-planed us in The Azores, not a single Qatar Airways employee helped us on site anymore. Passengers were left in the hands of hotel and airport staff. There was very little communication with the passengers. A relief flight was supposed to come in 12 hours. It did not come for another 35. After the emergency landing, some passengers noticed that a wing looked defective. The disruption may not have been due only to bad weather, but a defective plane as well."

We also need some news channels like Aljazeera, CNN & BBC so that we keep updated on issues happening throughout the world. This is very important especially to people like me who traveled long distances from South Africa to Los Angeles USA."
Flight was delayed multiple times
The airport at Bucharest is a nightmare. Rude agents at the Delta partners desks and no directions for finding the correct place to go. Boarding at Amsterdam took over one and one half hours by the time we were sent through three security lines at the gate. No explanation for why we were herded through one line and then sent to another and then finally through another security procedure where they wiped us down for something. Atlanta was probably normal for there. All three legs of the flight were late but I did make it home after a very frustrating and exhausting 24 hours. At this moment I feel as if I will never go anywhere again,.

We were disappointed with KLM when comparing with other airline companies offerings when you book in Premium Economy."

So he ends up having to pay for another Lyft back to our apartment in Dallas, then another additional one for the 12 noon flight the next morning. If he didn't have family living in Dallas, he would've incurred a hotel fee too."

Contra: "Snack offered by American could be better than some dry cookies. Especially for Diabetic passengers."
Pro: "A cheap option to upgrade to 1st was offered that ended up being a net 0 cost upgrade for me so I took it. Comfortable on an old (but oh so nice) aircraft."
Contra: "Arrived 30 minutes early to the airport but then had to sit at a remote pad so that we ended up being 5 minutes late to the gate. A short transfer was made even more difficult, and a massive waste if time and fuel sitting and waiting. Figure out your gates early and better, and move around if needed. At the very least, bring up some stairs and buses to get passengers to the terminal and then tow the aircraft in when you have a gate available."
Contra: "spending $600 on a one way flight with you today has been the worst experience and rip off ever! Delayed in Hartford 6 hours. Changed my layover flight in Dallas. Now Dallas delayed 1 hour."
Contra: "I purchased a business class seat and did not get a business class seat. In Philadelphia the agent would not give me the available seat because I was not on an upgrade list. He said I would have to call american. I tried several times. (I also called british air and they said they could not help.) Each time i tried American the message said they had high volume call back later. I reported this to BA and have not yet had a response."

Contra: "I didn’t like the fact I had to wait 5 and a half hours in the airport and not being compensated by the airline, who for some reason penalize anyone of their passagers if they are late or want to change a flight. I was also late for a meeting"
Contra: "Gate agent told me it wasn't his job to quickly verify if my luggage had made it on the plane after my 10 minute sprint in PHX. I know at my job, I don't get the luxury of telling customers "it's not my job", especially when the customer has had a bad experience with us."

Pro: "The flight attendant lady from 1st class/Business held my suit jacket for me to grab on the way out. Simple thing, but very thoughtful and kind. Love it."

Contra: "I boarded in group 2. A lot of the overhead space was already full due to the large number of priority passengers. This led to people having to go to the back to find space for bags. That creates a lot of jams at the end of the flight. Also, younger passengers often try to rush out of the plane rather than waiting for their row. This should be stopped."
Wheelchair service always a weak point in Heathrow...
Everything was pretty mediocre for the upgraded cabin. Seats are only slightly more comfortable than basic economy, but just barely and not good for a long flight. The crew was pleasant but invisible - after dinner service they made one pass to pick up trays but then offered drinks and water twice more before making any other pass to pick up trash. Some passengers who didn’t finish their meals before they came by for tray pickup had their dirty dinner trays in front of the f them for 5 hours and no crew member even offered to take it away. Pretty disgusting having old food and trash all over the cabin for an 11 hour flight.

Contra: "I booked flight for my parents from Kayak for the first time. The confirmation number was: KAYAK Booking Reference KE40651 British Airways Record Locator 3IMN38 Booking Date Jan 24, 2021 So British airways cancelled the flight may days before the flight date and they notified Kayak but Kayak sent me no notification. At the time of check in we found that the flight was cancelled. It was such a hassle. I called kayak to rebook frantically since it was very important to travel right away. Your customer service was pathetic. I was told to cancel my british airways reservation and then I have to wait 24 hours for another department to call me to talk to me about rebooking choices. There was no concern from your customer service that since u are at fault so make correction for it right away by rebooking it. You guys didnt inform us for cancellation of the flight that happened days before the flight. I didnt like what Kayak rep was telling me and called British airways again to see if they would do something. They then were able to rebook me the following day with 2 stops instead of one stop which I had booked. So my parents took the flight with one day delay with extra stops. I had such a horrible experience with Kayak. I will never rebook from Kayak again."
Contra: "Provide power outlets at seats. The remote control provided at the seat isn't at all user-friendly. I finally figured it out, but more people than not would have trouble using it. Also, basic features like turning on/off the reading light or calling a flight attendant shouldn't be on this complicated remote. Finally, the seating in economy plus or whatever this class is called needs to be rethought. (aircraft: Boeing 787)"
Pro: "Wonderful to fly on a small airline that still believes in service - a free cup of coffee and a Tunnocks biscuit - whereas many larger airlines charge for coffee etc."
Contra: "flight was delayed about 2 hours. First hour waited in the plane. Why they've boarded us if we were not able to take off and had to wait in the aircraft? Near Heathrow, we took loops for about one hour. Expensive and offering nothing, no luggage, no seat selection, no meal on board. BA worst than lo"
Pro: "Virtually nothing, even in Club Europe."
Contra: "Crowded cabin, uncomfortable seat pitch, anarchic boarding (even for Club), lousy food and that ghastly safety video."
Pro: "The check in process was easy and straightforward but we were in the front of the line--which was very long. The lady who checked us in was very nice and pleasant and she was there for boarding as well. This process was very smooth for us."
Contra: "No water available unless you paid for it --same true of coffee and they only take credit cards. Was not able to request seats early and ended up next to the bathroom and lots of people standing in my personal space and the smell is overwhelming--the chemical smell."
Pro: "Despite having a delay in Denver, we were able to arrive on time. The crew was very friendly in greeting us as we boarded the plane"
Contra: "The boarding process was hampered by too many people putting too much carry on luggage in the overhead bins. Many put things in the overhead bins that could have been put under the seat. It didn’t seem like the crew was paying too much attention to this. In general the crew was pleasant, but there didn’t appear to be much sincerity in the pleasantries."
Pro: "Great personal service from the stewardesses. Excellent food. Plenty of drinks! Even good olive oil."

Pro: "Flight left Seville on time, and landed 10 mins early. Friendly crew. Marks and Spencer food available to buy on flight. Reasonable vegetarian options available - thank goodness. Didn't have to pay for extra leg room in exit aisle - probably because no-one had bought them when I checked in at airport. Would definitely recommend."
Contra: "Only downside is crew member in Seville at the airport gate could not be understood. She spoke English with such a thick Spanish accent and intonations that no-one understood what she was saying on the speaker. She also sounded as if she was arguing, as opposed to inviting us on board in a welcoming and orderly fashion. Although at times funny, it ultimately translated into a lot of noise on her part, and a headache on my part."

The attendants were always more than happy to give me extra water when I asked"
Pro: "All but one of the FAs were amazing. Very kind and patient with the kids on the plane. The plane was also very quiet and comfortable."
Contra: "The food was super greasy and not good. My daughter wouldn't even eat her Mac and cheese. The overhead voice is very quiet and hard to hear. I didn't hear most of anything that was said other than the safety briefing."
Pro: "Quick passport checks on boarding. Seat has head rest that can be folded to hug your head, very comfortable!"
Contra: "No USB charging plugs. Main dish was good but the salad is poor."
Pro: "It was the beginning of school holidays so mobbed but we all got on the plane"
Contra: "Security at Edinburgh was tough for thise of us not used to the 'clear bag' policy. One steward (German guy? ) seemed to be in a permanant bad mood. And once we got to Heathrow, the jet bridge did not work, so we could see our luggage leaving the plane before we did!"

Pro: "The treatment and luxury of being a business/first class passenger. I've been told I was (free) upgraded from economi class to business class. Actually there was no business class,- it was first class. Because after arriving and leaving the aircraft, I walked (like everyone) through the First class,-and it looked exactly like the "business class" I was sitting. I had all the luxury and service a first class passenger had,- from the champagne and all other amazing beverages to the high end luxury dining and of course the amazing service of the flight attendants. I would always choose BA again if Ihave the choice. Even if it's still "just" economy class. BA is just an airline that treats all their passengers as first class member. Thank you BA for this experience. Keep it up and please, never change."
Contra: "My flight was cancelled because I missed the first half of a round-trip flight, even though I phoned several times to explain that I still wanted to use the return trip. This practice seems almost criminal. I paid for the flight, I should have been able to use it."
