Pro: "B777 Dreamliner is dreamy. Lots of overhead luggage space. Decent leg room (could always be more). Great individual entertainment screen for long transcontinental flights. Flight staff was a mixed international crew, very friendly, unpretentious, polite and just nice compared to other airlines. The planes they use seem very new. Would definitely recommend Qatar Air over Aeroflot any day."
Contra: "Food was decent for airline food but nothing to rave about and as with most airlines uses too much plastic packaging. Although I was pleased that some of the flights used metal flatware, but still too much waste in the industry in my opinion. Also, the headphone jack was not compatible with my headphones. The type used on the 777 is the dual pronged one. I did not have an adapter so had to use the crappy headphones that are provided."

Contra: "Did not know what Vegetarian Jain meal should taste like! Even goats and sheep woud not have liked the taste of this special meal. Fortunately, cabin crew member was kind enough to give me a regular Hindu veggie meal rather than my pre-selected Vegetarian Jain meal (VJML) - DO NOT CHOOSE VJML on Qatar, unless you wanna faint from the horrible food! The tray was dirty! Co-passengers in the row behind me were also complaining The audio lead of my headphone would not go into the outlet in the seat armrest! So I had to use audio from neighboring (empty) seat and sync it with video from screen for my seat. What a pain!"

Pro: "i liked that the entertainment system had a lot to offer, lots of movies and options. I liked the staff, they were very cooperative and friendly."
Contra: "the flight was delayed 45 minutes, passengers were waiting in a non-air-conditioned aircraft. The AC was working after takeoff. The airplane chairs were small and no leg room, on a 7 hour flight to Barcelona that was exhausting! Couldn't manage to get some sleep at all. Overall, at least I arrived to my destination safe and sound. Thank you!"

Contra: "-my seat did not recline, which I understand that I was close to the emergency exit but the person in front of me could still put their seat back way farther than they should be able to and I was unable to do simple things like put my glass of water on my tray -I had a vegetarian meal which was literally just rice and ground up brown mush-I have no idea what that much was -I asked twice for new headphones because my was broken but they forgot -When the flight attendant was coming around with water and she looked me to see if I wanted any and I said yes, she just skipped over me. I didn't pay a few hundred dollars extra for this."

I felt that when the flight crew saw this they could have made everyone much more comfortable by switching people to two people per row thus giving them more room especially on such a long flight."

Contra: "I had cancelled my flight with qatar airways due to the current political problems. My ticket was booked through the agent airfare.com. They have handled the issue terribly. To start with. They said that they have to charge me a $615 penalty on top of the $750 i had payed for the ticket for cancellation. They mentioned that ill be refunded my $750 from qatar as they got a waiver for me. I received $250 from qatar airways and nothing yet. Airfare's customer service staff is highly uncooperative and v rude"

Contra: "They have a terrible communication problem, they never communicated why the flight was late, they never communicated what they were doing or what was happening. Bad customer service. Bad communication with the client. They told us when I asked several times that we would not lose our connection and that everything was fine and that was not the case. We lost the connection. No one told us anything. Another problem was that the girl in the boarding process removed the suitcases tickets from the boarding pass and did not want to return them, and held it without any cause. The flight staff went looking for us. Pretty sad and disappointed by their service. I understand that they were causes outside the airline but must communicate to the client. They cannot remain silent and say nothing."

Contra: "Only a steward that did not help us with luggage when neede..."

Contra: "Food. For a 2-hour plus flight, from 11am to 1:30pm, we got 20gr pretzel sticks. This is ridiculous. Don't pretend you are not low-cost! Formerly, before the Joon failed (thank God) venture, Air France had real sandwiches around that time of the day on that line."

Contra: "When I purchased my flight ticket , I purchased with a checked bag (23 kg /50 #) how ever ( who will fly to Ukraine with a 10kg suitcase) I booked for a KLM flight , they used (partener airlines ) when I arrived to LA I flew with Delta , they checked my Suitcase at no cost all the way to my final destinations , that was expected ! When I was going to return , they made me payed 120 dollars ( in Kiev , Ukraine (UIA) , I was very disappointed and I really will love an explanation about all this !"

Contra: "Boarding was not too well organized and I followed Security's direction who put me in wrong line and I wasn't able to board with my priority group. Sitting in exit row with no floor storage so this delay made it hard to find overhead storage above my seat. (Grrrr) Entertainment system didn't work which made the flight feel LOOONG. (They offered an in-flight credit, but I'd paid for premium exit row seat and had to choose between moving to working system in crowded middle seat or keep premium, exit seat. I decided to have them move me to a seat with a working entertainment system, which were available and they'd offered, but never happened.) When I got home, I discovered the gift I purchased with in-flight credit and my own money wasn't the one I'd requested from Duty Free catalog so now I have to figure out how to solve this problem. (COULDN'T GET IT RIGHT.) Premium exit row seat was narrow, due to in-seat tray table & entertainment system, but seatbelt mounts and thinly padded seat made it even more uncomfortable on a long flight."

Pro: "Plane was clean. Pilots made up some of departure delay time in the air between NCE & CDG."
Contra: "Unorganized boarding process and minimal info or announcements regarding delay. Failure to respect SkyPriority status at boarding were disappointing. (Staff allowed it to be a bit pushy and chaotic and people were able to force their way in line, ahead of those who had been waiting in line.) Seats were okay but no recline and underseat storage was small. (Backpack wouldn't fit underseat and had to be stored in overhead.) Passengers crowding from back of plane upon arrival made it hard to deplane and felt rude."

Pro: "Staff pleasant and courteous fine meal and beverages! Arrived ahead of schedule in Bucharest!! Overall a very pleasant experience!"

Pro: "The food was pretty good and the staff were friendly. During our transfer in Paris, my mum had a medical emergency and had to go to the medical centre. As such wr couldnt go to our final destination in Morocco and had to get our luggage off the plane. The staff at the AF counter were very helpful in that aspect. And when one of the luggages was completely damaged, it was replaced it with a brand new one which was fantastic. On the way back, we had some issues with the ticket because we didnt go to Morocco as planned which resulted in some trouble checking in. But the staff at the counter were quite helpful."

Contra: "Hundreds of people missed their flights. Delta had us into Paris with an hour and a half to get to connecting flight. Missed flight due to huge delay in passport approval. They seemed completely unprepared."

Pro: "I liked the way a fligh attandant treated me and another two passengers. At the end of the flight he gave us a cup of strawberries for all. The food was delicious specially that pasta, it was yummy."

Pro: "Traveled fron SFO to CDG on AF in business class on an A 380. Lounge in SFO was smallish and not many choices in the food bar. Boarding was smooth. my second ride on A 380 in business and this trip reminded me quickly why I did not care for the A 380 on my previous trip. It is a huge plane with a huge sized business class which makes the cost less worth it compared to a Boeing. The crew were extremely helpful and caring. The food was acceptable. The seats on the plane were not comfortable in the lying position. Took a cab to our hotel in Paris (1st Arr) for a flat 50 euros. No meters."
Contra: "Arriving in CDG and facing a slow immigration with the passengers of this huge plane. I didn't care for the baggage delivery system. We were waiting for an hour only to realize that the arrival port for our luggage was changed."

Pro: "Seat room was better on most economy flights. The food was good and the glass of champagne did not hurt at all. The aircraft flew very smoothly from takeoff to landing."

Contra: "Airport handling is catastrophic. A lost bagage created the twins to be locked. Half an hour and we could not enter. Delays and huge mess in front of police checkpoint. No announcement and no care for passengers approaching departure time. And to top it all no announcement of any delays. Had to cheat my way through the priority line and run a sprint through security and beyond. Reached the gate to note that there was a delay of 5 minutes.... Grrrr"

Contra: "The "Czech Airlines" flight I purchased was actually an Air France flight number. When I arrived later than planned but still within good time, which was my fault, I reported to the Czech Airlines check-in (D2). This is very, very far from the Air France check-in (A2). No person and no sign was at Czech Airlines gate saying to go to Air France instead. By the time I determined what to do by talking ro the airport information booth and I walked to Air France instead of Czech Airlines (at CDG airport this is 5 minutes walking very fast speed on conveyor belts.. perhaps more than half a kilometer), I was past the boarding time limit, but the flight had not yet left. Then I could not print the boaring pass because of the time. When I asked an Air France employee for help, he simply said "you cannot board" and stood there smugly. He must feel great being a 25 year old who can turn people away from international flights at his own discretion to completely ruin their day especially when the plane is still on the ground. I have not even explained yet about the similarly awful experience I had when I booked the next flight (Czech Airlines at 09:45) for a much higher price (118 euro) and was not told that this Czech Airlines flight is "really" a Czech Airline flight. After paying much more to a Czech Airline person, nobody informed me to stay at the Czech Airlines area (2D) so I naturally went back to Air France since I had already had so much trouble. When I arrived there, of course, they tell me to go back to Czech Airlines and now I was again late. Thank God that I was able to confront a random trolley man who Kew where the Czech Airlines people were and try tried very hard to get me to the plane even though the boarding time was over. All in all, this was the worst travel experience of my life. I have now wasted 40 more minutes of my approximately 2.5 days in Prague to tell you this. I hope you consider it."

Contra: "Crew did the minimum, when I asked for a water an hour after the beverage service the flight attendant became clearly annoyed. I did get the water. This has happened regularly on other United flights that I have been on. It seems to be a strategy to discourage passengers from asking for anything."

Contra: "Felt like a sardine. Knees were up against the seat I front fighting for elbow space with person in the middle. Worse seating than Ryanair in Europe."

Contra: "Counter at Asheville, point of origin for the flight, was unattended at recommended arrival time. Attendant, when he finally appeared, seemed, to this traveler at least, unengaged, abrupt, even rude, certainly not as welcoming and helpful ad other UA counter attendants at busier airports and at more demanding times. The word lazy comes to mind. The same individual handled the gate. His demeanor there was similar. If it is UA policy to leave counters unattended, an explanation should be posted; if present policy requires one individual to handle counter and gate duties, perhaps more help is needed. This experience, all the more frustrating when a passenger ruses early so as to comply with recommended arrival and boarding times, combined with the fact that the incoming flight significantly delayed AVL to Washington depart setting the tone for a mostly mediocre experience crowned by a painful trek from terminal A to terminal C to catch the connection to PVD. Not a best effort by UA. Outstanding flight and cabin crews saved the day."

Pro: "Nothing"
Contra: "Everything. My booking confirmation was with United Airlines only to get to the airport to find that they had subcontracted the flight to a budget airline. Eurowings. The food very substandard. If you were on a basic ticket, you were only entitled to water and no food. So people are travelling on long haul flights without being offered anything as standard. Passengers on these tickets were not aware that they would not be served.any food which is probably unethical. They offer to sell you food if on a basic ticket"

Contra: "Not having to change airlines. If the 1st flight hadn't come in 40 minutes early, I might have missed my connection."

Pro: "The whole experience was fine, as expected for today’s standard."
Contra: "Boarding would be better if the window seats go first, followed by middle seats then aisle seats."

Contra: "Entertainment system did not work. Wifi did not work so could not use personal devices. Light did not work so couldn't read a book. Looking at the back of the seat in front of me for 5 hours was pretty tedious."

I waited 2.5 hours to Rebook next day!"

Can’t remember the gentleman’ Name but he confirmed the following that I am allowed 1 carry on since I am on the mileage plus and I have to pay my other baggage which I did online. My carry on is smaller than the usual carry on’s Standard yet they didn’t allow it at the United check in luggages and made me pay another $40. They allowed so many other passengers with lots of stuff and bigger carry on . It is all shown on your surveillance cameras and recorded on your customer services phone calls. I don’t know why I was treated and discriminated like that. I felt bad and humiliated about this incident."

Contra: "No Wi-Fi was available for movies on phone as described"

Pro: "Staff and flight attendants were nicr"
Contra: "It had some delay."

Pro: "Crew was great, friendly and helpful.Entertainment was decent, good movie selection"
Contra: "Meals - well let’s just say that not everyone enjoys bbq chicken and grits - mixed."

Pro: "I paid for extra space and it satisfy my needs."
Contra: "The personnel service during the flight was mediocre. In my opinion they don’t know what is customer satisfaction. They have to show that they like what they do with a simple smile. They are not doing the customer a favor . That is their job a good customer satisfaction"

Pro: "A flight attendant went out of her way to bring my wife some nuts from first class, since she said she missed having the packages of nuts and pretzels in economy."
Contra: "The stand-by for business class upgrade process is anything but clear."

Contra: "The prior flight was delayed because after taxing, a crew wanted to remove an uncooperative passenger and went back to the gait. Subsequently, we arrived in Washington DC with only a few minutes before our next flight Albany was scheduled to leave. Because we had to do check our carry-on bags, we were 5 minutes later to the gait where the airline refused to wait for us to board although another passenger who did not have to wait for her bag was able to board the flight Albany. We therefore had to take a shuttle to Reagan international Airport, fly on a different airline to Hartford Connecticut, rent a car and drive 2 hours to finally reach our destination in Albany."

Pro: "The crew and flight attendant were very courteous and engaging. Great customer service. I noticed a gentleman who was boarding the plane and asked for some water and the attendant dutifully and courteously provided him some very quickly."

Pro: "Pilot flew over Death Valley National Park."
Contra: "you shouldn't have to pay extra to pick your own seat how ridiculous redeye flights are the worst"

Pro: "I was in Economy Plus and it was as nice as any type seat on any other airline."
Contra: "It would be nice if they could serve a snack in mid flight as it's a long long way!"

Contra: "Boarding at Dulles was stupid. The line for 1st class and Premier was against the wall, so these passengers had to fight their way through the lines for passengers in sections 3,4,5 just to get to their line. It would make more sense to have groups 1 & 2 in lines which face the door, and keep the lines for 3,4,5 as they are--that is, parallel to the wall. Or, have the lines in the opposite order, so that 1&2 are closest to the concourse, and 5 is next to the wall I actually felt sorry for these 'privileged' passengers who had to fight their way through the other boarding lines just to board when their section was called"

Pro: "Nothing. Flying has become an nightmare. I will avoid in the future. Late flights and miss connections seem the norm now in this dysfunctional industry."
Contra: "I don't like having to waste my valuable time in airports for days to make a short flight."

Pro: "Flexibility."

Contra: "5h flight delay"

Contra: "I was informed at check in that I could not bring a carry on bag. Therefore, I had to pay to check my bag. However, all other passengers on the plane brought carry on bags. Then, upon arrival in New Orleans, my bag failed to arrive. My bag was still in Chicago."

Pro: "The staff were fairly friendly. It was a short easy flight"
Contra: "I didn't care for how tiny the plane was but the pilot definitely knew what he was doing. I still felt safe."

Contra: "Delayed"

Pro: "Very professional employee! Well thought safety equipments"

Pro: "At 6' tall I'm not exactly TALL, SLIGHTLY above average yet as hard as I pressed back into the seat I wasn't​ able to squeeze Even a milimeter of leg room. I spent 2+hrs in moderate pain with no options. The seat sold to me WASN'T big enough for a person talker than 5'10". I felt ripped off. At age 41 I've NEVER had a flight with less leg room. Ever, not on a commuter flight or anything. It was a very painful experience. I had to ice my knee caps afterwards."
Contra: "ZERO LEG ROOM AT ALL. PAINFUL to say the least."

Pro: "Well, at least they gave me a blanket to sleep with."
Contra: "You still have to pay to use tv, movies, and internet. The flight attendants did not give me any drink or snacks. They did not say goodbye or wish me a good time back home. Flying in the plane itself was awful, as it continuously shook even when weather was alright. The pilot seemed rude. No warnings from the pilot when we were going through bad weather - just a surprise "HANG ON" as the plane would shake in a frenzy. The chairs were also incredibly uncomfortable and very hard to relax on. I couldnt even sleep well, and it was an overnight trip. Seriously felt so disrespected by the crew and the company, and this experience was the same with all 4 flights I took (to portland and back). I will never again choose United."

Contra: "Marjor delays"

Pro: "Courtesy..it was very nice..staff do great..i will fly again on United air plane.."

Pro: "they switched our flight in boston to another flight which was totally inconvenient. then the connecting flight was delayed so we had a three hour layover. then they switched the terminal and flight time to an hour earlier than posted w/o our knowledge. that flight left and we were stranded in new jersey airport until 6 am the next day and had to rebook. now we will have to make another stop in san Francisco's before getting to portland oregon a day late. total joke."

Pro: "The crew was very nice as we got on."
Contra: "As usually United over booked and even though I brought my ticket in advance I some how did not have a seat assigned to me when I checked in. Most of the plane had boarded before I had a ticket in my hand. The agent was rude as she could be because I didn't understand how that's possible for me not to have a seat. I think that it's absolutely ridiculous that it's even possible to over sale a plane since there's obviously only a certain number of seats. I think it's ridiculous that people have to offer up their seat and take another flight, I chose a flight time because that's when I wanted to leave and get to where I was going for a reason. No other industry is allowed to treat their customers this way so why does the airline industry do it? Also there's no tv or movies for us to watch while in a 4 hour flight."

Contra: "Wheelchair staff was so slow walking and talking to people that we almost missed our flight."

Pro: "The Indianapolis airport"
Contra: "The plane is too small, I'm 6 foot 4 inches tall and there no leg room, my leg was raising the middle arm rest, I apologized to the guy next to me...he was cool about it. The plane does not absorb turbulence very well. That plane is to small for a flight that is a little over 2 hours"

Pro: "Airline personnel were friendly and smiling"

Pro: "Economy+ seats were very nice. The stroopwaffel snack beats Delta hands down. Check-in was smooth and we had no hiccups."
Contra: "The boarding lines were not clearly delineated. It seemed like there were gate check offers, but audio systems at the gate were not very coherent. Paying for Direct-TV is so-so."

Contra: "Seated in last row no recline on chair!"

Pro: "When i did my online check in, i just found out that i was separated with my companion. One hour before boarding opens i took the chance to request in the boarding desk if we could be seated together, i spoke with Ms. Nan, she said she'll do her best. Diting boarding time as soon as i was sat, she came approach me and said she had a seat for us together. I was so greatful to Ms. Nan. That is why I love united so much."

Contra: "Small plane, no TV"

Pro: "Everything"

Contra: "Confusions on dates from Internet. Your site usually sets its own dates without confirming."

Pro: "Had a stroller, two bags, and a car seat and the check in staff helped us tag everything and loaded it for us. It was nice to see the Billings staff go above and beyond in my families time of need."

Pro: "Attendant attitude"
Contra: "Noise in the cabin. Food was only two options, none vegetarian. Bathrooms locked all the time."

Pro: "Ticket agent got us on a Delta flight."
Contra: "Flight was cancelled."
