WHEN WE ASK HER TO CALL PASSPORT CONTROL (BECAUSE THEY ARE THE ONES WHO SENT US TO THEM) TO SPEAK TO THEM YOURSELF, SHE SAYS "IT'S NOT OUR PROBLEM" WHICH THEN MADE ME SNAP AT HER AND TELL HER WTF DO YOU MEAN ITS NOT YOUR PROBLEM? YOU WORK HERE!!" SO WHEN I ASK FOR THE MANAGERS NUMBER FOR COMPLAINT SHE GIVES ME A 5 DIGIT NUMBER THAT LOOKS MORE LIKE A ZIP CODE THEN A PHONE NUMBER. THEN WE GO BACK TO PASSPORT CONTROL WHO TOLD US THAT WE WOULD HAVE A FREE HOTEL AND FOOD THEY CHANGED THERE STORY AND DIRECTED US TO PAY FOR A VISA AND PAY FOR A HOTEL OUTSIDE. SO IN THE END THEY GAVE US A BULLSHIT STORY SO THEY CAN GET RID OF US AND HAVE US RUN AROUND WHERE IN THE END WE GAVE UP AND SLEPT IN THE AIRPORT TILL WE GOT HOME. THIS IS WHEN I WAS COMING BACK WITH TURKISH AIRLINES. GOING TO MY PLACE OF DESTINATION THE FLIGHT WAS LATE 4 HOURS AND LUCKILY FOR US WE HAD A LONG LAYOVER THAT WE DIDNT MISS MY FLIGHT GOING TO MY PLACE OF DESTINATION. SO GOING AND RETURNING FLIGHT WAS LATE! WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD!! I WOULD NEVER FLY WITH TURKISH AIRLINES! Contra: "An elderly woman was booked in a window seat and she insisted she take my aisle seat without any additional available aisle seats. However, this would be better handled when she requested for assistance during her booking process. The crew should've anticipate her needs and booked an aisle seat, or even be the ones to ask me or another passenger if I would be willing to trade. I was placed on the spot and no courtesy was shown to me. My legs were completely swollen and in pain because I wasn't able to stand periodically. I too booked my flight early and requested my seats appropriately for my health needs."

Contra: "One of our suitcases was lost. Well, fine, it happened. From Kyiv we went to Georgia for a week. In one or two days we received a text to come get it in the Batumi airport. We came there - nothing. Then next text - come get it in two days. When it finally arrived - it was torn. I don't know who to blame in the first wrong text, I don't know why and how the suitcase was lost, I don't know who torn it, but in general it was all very wrong and inefficient."

Passengers were standing in the plane after it landed but while it was still driving on the runway and they were opening the overhead luggage compartments risking other passengers health with falling luggage. Also since passengers were standing and the plane was driving on the runway, they were not stable and moving sideways and one of them hit a sitting passenger in the head by mistake. The on-flight entertainment system didn't work from FRA to IST The staff did not do a safety check (check if seat belts on all passengers, seats are in upright position) prior to the plane flying Overall I flew with them 4 times (2 way ticket, with connection flights) and all flights were late to depart and eventually arrive late."

The flight staff, although nice, was uninformed of the necessary paperwork to enter the DR and, as we landed, it made a big mess because no one knew what they needed and had to start filling out paperwork all at once."

The flight was packed with military personnel and they all had large packs that had to be pushed under the seats but were really difficult to put there. Many of them were late for the flight for some reason so we were delayed leaving by a lot of time. The thing I did like was that the pilot made up most of the time so we did manage to barely make our flight to Ft Lauderdale as they were boarding it. The one from Toronto to Winnipeg was as I expected, a normal, nice Air Canada flight."
Contra: "I find that when I travel on the Air Canada Rouge flights I really feel like I am travelling on a third rate air line. Things don't work and you are squeezed in like sardines, Some people were boarding the flight with 2 carry ons plus a personal item. This always causes problems and seems to delay leaving as the crew then needs to either find space for it or need to check it and then deal with the complaints of the traveler."

Contra: "They need a better system for boarding. It took forever to get us all on board. And it was hard to hear which zone they were boarding since the passengers were so noisy. there should've been lanes for the different zones so they could usher us all in orderly. It was a chaotic mess without lanes. There was no entertainment if you didn't download their app onto your electronic device. No snacks were offered either. I didn't pay for a meal but it would've been nice to have some pretzels or something like that. The controls for the lights, and attendant call button were on the hand rest. It was very uncomfortable since it was a raised section, and more than once I turned on the light without meaning to do so. I won't fly Air Canada Rouge ever again, if I can help it."
Contra: "My traveling partner - Giovanni Medina - was given ill properly prepared food. He ended up getting food poisoning. We had a connecting flight in Montreal to Orlando (our final destination and home), he was suffering during the 2 hour lay over with an ill stomach and then had to suffer 3 more hours on a flight home. He was stopped from being able to go to the bathroom before takeoff because they needed him seated, but he immediately started vomiting right before we took off. He then spent the rest of the ride sick, they allowed him to move to the back in order to use the bathroom rather than the vomit bags, but he was not comfortable at all. He spent the rest of the night after landing in the bathroom continuing to vomit. We chose this airline because of the rave reviews of the food, entertainment, and hospitality of the crew. The latter two were certainly true. We definitely wanted to make sure that you knew of situation because this was a seriously uncomfortable situation for him and we would not want this to happen to anyone else. He had the chicken meal and the meat pastry on the flight."
Pro: "we sat on the airplane for over 3 hrs , waiting for someone to clean the waste water from the plane.! it was very alarming the lack of service , never seen anything like that before !"

Contra: "The staff on the ground were disorganized, uninformed, frazzled, dismissive and boarded us 1 hour late with no updates on why we were not boarding on time. Our flight was just sitting there on the ground. when people asked they blew us off. we were also crowded into the last, very narrow, terminal area in the Toronto airport (F89-F99 area). Too many flights departing at the same time, created limited space to sit/stand. One passenger pasted out, and had a seizure upon hitting the floor face first, because of the stuffed space, and lack of air movement and available seats. They did have a fan in the area but it didnt do much to circulate air. Once we boarded an hour late, the ground crew were nowhere to be found. We waited 30min on the plane for crew to board our luggage. We were told they left the area to work somewhere else, and would be back soon. Ugh! I would not fly Air Canada again, esp through Toronto again."

Contra: "They cancelled the sat flite. Little communication . Left us after 6 hours and 11 pm to fend for our selves with no luggage. No compensation. It was awful."

Contra: "The second engine needed for take off had issues so the airline tried to get second engine replaced. Unfortunately the second engine also controlled the air conditioning. We waited through 3 engine replacement tries in the hot Italian summer inside a hot cabin with approximately 150 passengers. Almost an hour later, engine was replaced but damage was done. Many transfer flights had to be rescheduled for later flights. Where was the reimbursement???? Just a million thanks for our patience. Time is money"

I looked at 3 different weather channels who said that the weather was mostly clear in Toronto with a few scattered showers."

Lack of proper competition in Canada allows Air Canada and WestJet to charge whatever they want since there are no other real options"

They said they would do their best but ended up giving me a plate of lettuce and bread. When I asked about the bread having dairy or eggs they said they didnt know, so I had to throw it out."
Contra: "The flight boarded, departed, and landed late causing me to miss my flight to Tel Aviv."

After getting into the airport I found out that no Air Canada employee knows anything about the Toronto airport. The cleaning crew finally directed me to the Air Canada help desk after I had asked at 4 different air Canada check in desks. Thankfully I did not miss my flight."
