Contra: "They haven't all update information about covid update, workers had no idea about anything, rude and unhelpful I had to miss my flight because of their mess, stay at the airport for 4 hours to get my luggage back and get a hotel."

Pro: "The crew did their best. The company, the policies, the times ... a different story."
Contra: "Stop boarding pets on a transatlantic 11.5 hours long flight - if the owners are nuts (although they swear they love their pets) air companies must be more responsible. The first air company that will refuse to cabin board pets will be my only company to fly for the rest of my life. Sometimes, saying NO is the right answer."

They also used to have nice amenities on long international flights like a hot towel and some Turkish Delight before takeoff and landing, but they no longer have that. And my biggest complaint is that they keep their planes unbearably hot most ost of the time. It’s by far the most frustrating thing when your cramped in their tiny spaces for 11 hours."

I appreciate that the attendants wanted to visit with her and give her their attention but it kept her from sleeping and woke me up. Since she had no proper place to use the bathroom she needed to be sleeping to keep her body clock in order."

I was told the flight had departed even though it was still 25 minutes before flight time. I then had to go to ticket sales where they charged me $425 dollars for the 80 minute flight to Bucharest. In the US, I would have been put on the next available flight fee of charge. I will never fly Turkish Airlines again."

Pro: "I could not fault anything with this flight. I arrived 2.5 hours before my flight, was able to drop my bag (I kept it to 20kgs) and pass security all within 15 minutes. Boarding was efficient and the seat quite comfortable. I was asleep before take off and didn't wake until 30 mins before landing. For any airline that many complain about - there is nothing I could fault. Yes - it is cheap and yes there are restrictions but if you follow the advice ie pack to the kg limit, arrive as per the airline suggestion for checkin and be at the gate when required and pre-order any food (or eat before the flight) - there is nothing I can complain about - it was cheap and I was able to be where I needed to be 10 min ahead of schedule. Staff were friendly and helpful."

Not fair to folks who do not use data for internet nor WiFi. A email could be sent 72 hours but that does not mean people check all emails or they even have access to the web. It’s not a fair or smart business move, I will not book with them again."

Contra: "Checking in at the Marrakech airport was a nightmare. People had to guess where to line up. There were two lines. A woman working with passengers seemed efficient and friendly. Unfortunately, I was not in her line. The dude who "helped" me hated the world and everyone in front of him. Their computers were down, and he had to hand write the boarding passes (?!). He really resented doing this for people and let them know. Once at the gate we had to get in a line, to get in another line outside, to get in another line to board, and of course we sat on the tarmac due to delays. I had to check a bag at the gate for being slightly too big. That's fine. But really, I end up paying what I would for a more professional (not "low-fare") airline. No one wants to be here. Not the employees, and not the passengers."

I spent the remaining three hours of the flight soaking wet."

Pro: "It seems if you don't pay for the seat attribution, the system splits automatically group/couple even if with infant! My husband and I have been separated by more than 30 rows but we had 2 aisle seats! Hopefully a kind person has accepted to exchange his middle seat with my husband seat. In addition, there was no priority to boarding with infant if. You don't pay the priority boarding (although we have to carry the baby in our arm). We have to ask several times to have the specific belt for infant, hopefully it was not our first flight and we knew it was mandatory! We have as well asked for a life jacket for our 4 months baby and they informed us infant and adult life jacket are in the same place above the seat..."
Contra: "Lack of safety rules for infant (to request seat belt, no infant life jacket) Priority of buying options rather to help when traveling with infant (automatic separation on seat distribution, no boarding priority)"

Contra: "Bag check at Malaga took almost an hour. Terrible queuing everywhere. You need at least 2.5 hours AT the airport if you are checking a bag on ryanair. Security moves very slowly, too, is very far from Ryanair bag check, THEN another queue to get through to your boarding gate. It was worst experience ever."

Pro: "Boarding for small lower priced airline went well on return from Santori i to Athens. Seats comfortable . My daughter travelled with me also. To check bsg in waz little expensive over 25 Euro. First flight 2 days prior when we flew from Athens to Santorini was almost a heart attack. I did not know that once you check in that you cannot view boarding pass and tried at vomputer diwnstairs and people at desk upstairs at Athens airport says common with Ryanair."
Contra: "I woukd like you to mention to encorage people to print out boarding passes the same time you check on on your email. Otherwise 2 hrs prior yo boarding everything locks up on you and we had to go to 2 lines to write up reservation flight info and then stand in another line to psy for the cost of printong out boarding pass which was over 30 Euro for 2 people."

Contra: "Had two bags to check. Paid for two bags in advance. Didn't know there was a total weight allowance across two bags. First bag ate up most of total weight allowance which forced me to pay for the overage on the second bag of €70. I thought I could bump up my second bag to the higher weight class when checking in instead of having to pay the overage charge that was three times as much. Found out during boarding they were checking bags for free...should have done carry on and avoided the extra costs."

Contra: "Rude gate staff at Otopeni Airport insisting I place my hand luggage in the hold until I informed them I had priority seats. The whole concept of priority boarding goes out the window as boarding was via a bus"

Contra: "We had a delayed of more than 6 hours, and they didnt give us in the airport any cupon or something to get some food!!!! More over, they had not report us the reason of the delayed till we were on the plane."

I will NEVER fly this airline again. On my vacation in Europe this trip, I flew five different airlines. All other airlines were wonderful - this one, absolutely NO Customer Service from check in to the flight. Staff were irritable. Unfriendly. I was told this is their reputation - horrible customer service and staff as they are a "cheap" airline. I've flown budget flights before - I've never dealt with any customer service like this!"

Contra: "I will never fly with Ryanair again. They ripped off all my money. If I would have booked 2 tickets with British airways would have been much better and cheaper."

Pro: "The flight attendants were very funny and friendly. They were proffessional and helpful."

Contra: "They wanted to charge me for water in Euros, though the flight left from Istanbul and I only had Turkish lira with me. So we tried credit card, but credit card machine didn't work on any of my three cards. So they kindly brought me a free cup of water after all."

Contra: "A lot of confusion at the airport when we wanted to check our bags. I felt they could have directed traffic (the people trying to check in) better."

Contra: "Oh wow there’s a long list: -flight was late -no food or drinks were offered -seats were dirty -plane was dirty -staff spoke very limited English -every single food we ordered was “sold out” -credit. At cpayments we’re not accepted -toilets were not clean I could continue but the above suffices."

Contra: "No free drinking water considering it wasn't really that cheap of a flight to say it budget airline"

Contra: "The none sense of explaining why I cant go on the plane ... according to there website I should have 2 stamps from the lebaniese authority on my passport one for going in and one for going out which I gladly provide them with... the responsoable for the check in at Frankfurt Airport and according to him was communicating with "pegasus Airline" in Istanbul by WhatsApp and just kept saying "those can't fly today" the funny thing he was writing in german and refuse to give me there number so I can explain the situation now the main reason why i couldn't go on the plane because I wasn't once in my life in Turkei which makes none sense according to there website I contacted them with Emails and they answered me that I should have the 2 stamps if i want to fly from Instanboul to Beirut which I already have but the haven't notice that i didnt even got ob the plane at the 1st place .... the huge amount of nobe sense, stupidity, the lying that there is no Pegasus airline office ath the airport and the 0 responsibility for there actions can provide you guys with a picture of how they behave with the customers"

Contra: "Plane was hot, ground staff were rude, airport outside of Istanbul is one of the worst I've ever seen."

Pro: "We did an error in booking the return date, & found no point of contact to change the date"

Pro: "They changed my online check in into front window seats for free Was in time"
Contra: "It's low cost, it arrived in time. It's ok :)"

Contra: "Checked in only to find out that someone checked allready with my name and he is sitting in my seat. The next bomber?"

Pro: "The seats were not too tight and the food is not extensively expensive"
Contra: "No Internet access at Istanbul airport which isahugh issue nowadays!"

Pro: "Absolutely nothing"
Contra: "Bad customer support, unwillingness to correct an error in the first name appearing on one of the tickets. This forced us to cancel all 5 tickets and purchase tickets for a different airline at 4 times the cost."

Pro: "clean aircraft"
Contra: "Flights are overcrowded, chairs won't recline, even a glass of water will cost you, transit via buses"

Contra: "You have to pay for water. So, basically, you are on a 4 hour flight, and you get one free cup of water After that, you're out of luck, because you have to buy water. Nice. Obviously, a very cheap stripped down plane. So no entertainment. But that is okay with low cost carriers."

Contra: "Miserable experience. This was flight was diverted to Kuwait due to weather. We were told we would be taking off a few hours later. Then we were told that we would be given a hotel room for the night in Kuwait. In the end, we all just waited around in the Kuwait airport for hours without any assistance from any airline representatives. I wound up having to book another flight, as the Pegasus delay was 13 hours (even though other flights were departing to Bahrain much earlier)."

Pro: "Comfortable seats and very clean."

Contra: "the air conditioner didnt work in the plane and they took very high rate for extra bag of 180 Euro!"

Pro: "Nothing in particular"
Contra: "Payment options suck! Did not know ahead of time that nothing is offered free of charge!"

Pro: "It didn't crash."
Contra: "Oh, boy. First, this flight was super late and they wouldn't admit it. I went to the gate at boarding time, and the staff rudely pushed me away, saying I misunderstood the gate number. I double checked, and no, that was indeed the right gate. This lasted until the airport announced the final boarding call for my flight, and people started lining up.Then the staff had to admit that this was the right gate and the plane was just late. We didn't start boarding until way after the announced time (which they didn't bother to update on the screen until it passed. Extraordinarily disorganized. Second, the flight crew was loud and kept the lights turned way up on an overnight flight. Everyone around me was trying to sleep, and they were woken up by the crew yelling "DO YOU WANT COFFEE?" 5 rows away. Even when they finally dimmed the lights 3 hours into the flight, they kept the Tv's on, so the flashing advertisements prevented me from sleeping restfully. Third, you have to pay for coffee and tea. Who does this? They also begin their flight with loud, obnoxious music that jolts everyone awake (see above for this being an overnight flight). Overall, only choose this airline if you're okay with being kept forcibly awake and you don't mind the flight being late. Oh, and you have 2 euros to pay for simple tea."

Contra: "Delay. No apologies not even one."

Contra: "We wait 1.5 hour....no good air conditional....no water and no juice"

Pro: "The crew was nice."
Contra: "That we didnt get even a glass of water"

Pro: "As long as I arrive safely, price is the most important thing about a flight..."

Contra: "No information flight delay until you find yourself."

Contra: "Terrible boarding procedure at Basel. Had to stand in line for about 30 mins waiting to board."

Contra: "The problems began around 2 am on 12-July at the Dubai airport. Our flight, originally scheduled for 4:20 am, was delayed until 6am. I attempted to inquire with the Pegasus staff about the flight delay, and what this would mean for my connection, but no staff were even available at the airport (all check-in activities etc were handled by airport staff). Even after the flight got delayed again until 7am, there were no Pegasus staff available to speak with. The Dubai airport staff assured me that someone was on their way to speak with the passengers, and that since our connecting flights were also on Pegasus, they would be sure to hold the flights for us. We were told that we would definitely make our connections. When we asked about the reason for the delay and to speak with a Pegasus staff member, we were told by airport staff that the Pegasus team had been called repeatedly and nobody was picking up the phone. There was a supervisor that was somewhere in the airport, and they had been told that she would be coming to the information desk to speak with passengers, but I waited for 2 hours for her and she never showed up. We were given no information on why the flight was delayed and what the plan was for our connections. Even at the gate there was not a single Pegasus staff member to assist us. We finally arrived in Istanbul and were directed to the transfer desk, where the Pegasus staff were rude, physically forceful (pushing and shoving), and could not communicate in English. The entire situation was extremely upsetting. Nobody was apologizing for the misinformation or lack of accountability. Nobody simply said, "I'm sorry." I was continuously shouted at in Turkish, I was pushed by Pegasus staff. I was simply trying to find out if my flight had left and if I could be rebooked on another flight. They were insistent that there was one flight a day and they could not book me on an alternative airline. For me, this meant that I missed an important meeting in Germany that afternoon, and that I had to forfeit money that I had put down for a hotel in Hamburg (Euros 124). They told everyone that the flights had left and that we should go upstairs to the hotel desk. However, even to do this, I was forced to purchase a visa (USD 30) to go through passport control. Pegagus has not reimbursed me for these expenses, despite emails, speaking to a supervisor at the Istanbul airport, and filing a complaint in the portal online. Again, at the hotel transfer desk, the staff was rude and unhelpful. We were treated like animals to be herded, and not like humans. Needless to say, I will never be flying with Pegasus again, and I will not be recommending it to anyone. The treatment of paying customers was horrible, and the service was terrible."

Contra: "Seats look congested. The noise of plane was very high which is not like others. I m frequent flyer even I travelled with Pegasus in November last year 2015 for Istanbul. Maintenance of plane to reduce the noise"

Contra: "Flight was delayed over an hour sitting on plane. Flight attendants were rude."

Pro: "Nothing"
Contra: "After the experience with the Pegasus flight from Kuwait to Istanbul I didn't expect anything hence was not disappointed. Right before the boarding was finished the boarding lady came into the plane looking for me, checking my passport one again and even taking a photo of it (with my consent). She left with no single word of explanation. Once again: this is a joke but definitely it's not customer service."

Contra: "not direct flight"

Pro: "After my entire nightmare the flight attendant gave me a free coffee."
Contra: "I came four hours before my flight, about 4 a.m.. two and a half was spent sending me back and forth because they couldn't agree on what was an appropriate price to charge me for extra baggage. The girl at the baggage counter called Pegasus and they told her the amount. When I got back to the baggage counter, the man there started checking my bags then the supervisor started yelling at me and him, because of a "miscommunication" between the other girl and Pegasus. I heard the other girl explain, and it was no communication. The supervisor as she called herself was extremely rude and short tempered with EVERYONE. Plus, they wanted to charge me 215 dollars for one extra bag. Really? I finally took a few things out and got away with under 90 dollars from the 20 dollars they were going to charge me before. I would have been happy to book with another airline that would have easily come under that price, and I barely got to my gate on time. I booked with Turkish air prior and it was 200 dollars round trip and I was very happy. My bags and food were free. When I got to Turkey to change flights, we had to get off the plane we were on and get on another, and my flight was over two hours delayed. We had to stay at the gate, and so I couldn't buy food at the airport. I would have gotten to Frankfurt at two so the small breakfast I had would have been ok, and now I had to buy food on the plane because I had planned also to meet a friend for dinner outside of Frankfurt before another flight (actually the entire reason I was flying with Pegasus in the first place) and now I wouldn't make it. Can you imagine spending all that money plus a hotel and the entire reason you went is just gone and you have to deal with all of this? So I go to buy food on the plane and I'm told my credit card doesn't work. The funny thing is, previously I checked my bags with the same credit card, and afterwards I rented a car and hotel with the same card. I knew my credit card worked. I made her try it again and nothing. So I just had to live on the small amount of yogurt I had had that morning. There was no apologies or anything for everything we went through except when my credit card wouldn't work the flight attendant gave me some coffee for free. I'm not a complainer and actually travel quite a bit (I've been traveling for 3.5 months straight all over europe and the middle east). This has been the only negative experience I've had. I truly believe that Pegasus does not care about keeping customers. I really feel like I've been treated like dirt, and that I was tricked into booking with them. I've always booked with Kayak and will continue to, but I would reconsider working with Pegasus if I were you. The other discounters like Ryanair are just fine. But this experience made me extremely angry and I will never book with Pegasus again."

Contra: "How luggage was treated"

Contra: "The crew conducting the extra security to Tel Aviv did not announce that everyone had to go through the extra security check. People just haphazardly asked or found out from someone else that they had to comply. The checked some passports and tickets prior to the flight to help in boarding but it was a mess. At one point they held the buses because they lost a passenger associated with a ticket and were yelling inside the bus looking for her. Never experienced such disorganization."
